Don't know about walking. Our window washer is only one person instead of the usual two. We'll see...it's 9:50 a.m. and 78 degrees. Supposed to get to 94. B)

    Karen,

It must be awful what you and your family are going through.

I wanted to die when I was a teenager too. I was overweight, friendless, and achingly lonely. The thing that always pulled me up, was knowing how sad my loss would make my parents. I wanted to die to escape my misery; but I couldn't hurt them like that.

Developing outside interests and friendships helped me eventually focus outside myself. It's a long hard road, and not something one wants to hear when feeling down, but I hope Bella ends up knowing her blessings too.

    Best wishes,
    Paula

Paula - thanks for the perspective...it isn't easy being a kid today.

Bella did a good job at their job yesterday prepping meals at a 55+ . Her feet were sore....lol...but she's getting back in the groove. So happy it went OK. Hoping she continued to like.

Jim and I are heading to NYC for today and tomorrow. Seeing the Book of Mormon and Hadestown....I know I'll get a ton of steps in to break in my new Fitbit.

Today will be 90 and tomorrow 95! Yikes! Will drink a lot of water...

Oh my gosh. I missed so much everyone. I have been my own train wreck.

Karen so glad Bella is getting the help she needs. Fingers crossed for you all. I have a charge 5. Beautiful flowers.

I weeded all the beds I could get into. Spread out lots of Preen. Made 44 copies of a letter I wrote for the community well on the mountain. Set up a Potluck dinner for our first meeting in years

I think next year will be my last. Retire at 63 instead of 65. Hit a snag in our cabin. We have water in the hole we dug for the test for sewer. If I had been wanting water it would of been 600 feet down.

Hi Karen, Sounds like a great trip. Didn't know you were on FB too. That's were I spend most my internet time. If you want to add me, my profile page is: https://www.facebook.com/paula.krogh

Shelley, So sorry bout the snag. One of Murphy's Laws, right? And hope your train wreck gets back on track. Life can be such a bunch of kitten sometimes.

I'm in the 190's, up 50 pounds. Broke down and bought a few larger sizes to wear. Hopefully fate will now help me lose weight so that the new clothes go to waste. Fingers crossed.

Shelley - I'm sure it is a tough decision to know when to retire...but you've worked so hard for so long...I know you will make the right decision 👍 Hope all works out with the cabin.

Paula - sending you lots of love. You and I have been down (and up) this tough weight road before....sending you lots of positive energy.

Took a rest day today from exercise....all of that walking in the NYC heat pooped me out!

Karen glad you had a great trip. So much sight seeing to be done in NYC. But the heat drains energy. And you are right. I really want to make it to 65. But I am beginning to feel like I would rather have some good years to do something other than work.

Chris you go. Getting up early is the right idea. I have to garden early. Or it is way to hot.

Paula I think the engineer has a way around it Will know more tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Hopefully you can start feeling well enough to get rid of those pounds. They just seem to creep up on us.

Went riding with Rocky tonight. It was beautiful. Barney even enjoyed it. Then the continued drama of spraying for earwigs. Seeing some adults now. Found a new area where there are so ooo many you can't count them. Under the bird feeder. Rocky is going to use his shop vacuum to clean up the area tomorrow. Yuch!

Karen my Hibiscus is getting huge. Can't wait for blooms.
