Maintain is good. We'll see what happens after my treatment restarts tomorrow. Usually they give me so much fluids I bloat for a week. I am also getting IV iron since the last chemo obviously played havoc with my levels. And I am feeling so much better since the last treatment seven weeks ago. Guess I needed a break. I am getting a new combo of drugs - chemo plus immunotherapy which showed great results in a study.
You fellow "steppers" are reaching some awesome numbers. Hoping I can start moving and walking more next week.
I did not get a treatment yesterday ---- waiting on insurance. I did get the iron and had some weird reactions. Prickly tingling in hands and feet didn't last long, loss of vision could only see bright lights for a couple minutes, then sick to my stomach and today itching. I did report this to my doctor. No response yet.2 -

I feel like giving up, but I really just want to be at my goal weight already! I know I'm working on a lot and battling a lot right now, but I don't want to wait years and years later to finally get this weight off! I'm 32 now, and I have moderate degenerative disc disease with sciatic nerve pain, my legs have been through a lot, and my knees hurt from time to time, along with my hips when lying in bed...I HAVE to get this weight off NOW so I can be healthier and feel better! I'm very good at self sabotage, but I'm tired of it, and just want to stop with that! Anyway, back I September of 2020, I was 199.6, now I'm 233.4, like I wanna get back under 200 so I can continue towards my goal weight of possibly 140. (not really sure what my exactly goal weight is, but somewhere around there possibly) Also, my feet have started hurting more this past year or so, when I bend down a lot or stand in spot for too long, my feet will start to hurt, they've never really done this before, and I can only believe that it's due to my high weight! My highest ever was 228, now I'm at 233...UGH! This sucks! I need to get back on track with using my diary on here and sticking to my calorie goal! Last time when I lost a lot and got down to 154-156, I used this app and the diary obsessively, but then people told me I was actually starving myself because I never ate back calories that I burned, but also I wouldn't eat if I couldn't figure out the calories, or if we were having dinner that was over my budget, and I kept several notebooks because I would write down my calories in a notebook before putting it on here. I want to get back to that, and staying within my calories so I can lose this weight, just don't want to become obsessed with it the way I was before. PS. Started my period today, so blah!6 -

So sorry I'm late this week, I know this won't count but wanted to put it here anyway. I started a new job this week and my brain is just overwhelmed with information. My weight looks the same but this time I weighed myself at the end of the day, with a full stomach and wet hair instead of first thing in the morning so I am hoping this is actually a loss 🤞
Have a good week everyone, I will try be more punctual 😁
And Cassie @CassieGetsFit2013 go easy on yourself, losing weight is hard especially with health conditions too x4 -

Planning on doing at least three morning walks this week before taking my son to school. We enjoyed doing a couple of them last week and it was so nice just being able to do that together. He is 8 years old and is the sweetest little boy, and any chance to unplug and enjoy nature is a great way to refresh both the mind and body, and he looks forward to these walks as much as I do! Pretty soon my husband will be able to join us for one of the walks and we plan to start doing more hiking and exercise as a family as well!6

September Week Three
Previous Weight: 174.8 lbs
Current Weight: 175 lbs
Loss to Date: 59 lbs
This is essentially a maintain, which was a welcome surprise today. I figured the combination of the Covid booster shot and several tough workouts over the past couple days would leave me in water-retention inflicted purgatory.
A quick comment on the booster shot -
I experienced minimal side effects beyond feeling a little sluggish and having a sore bicep and shoulder for a day. Apparently I unintentionally did exactly what I needed to do to avoid any more serious issues: I stayed extremely hydrated (drank about 160 fl. oz), and incorporated a lot of electrolytes into my day.
Looking at my week -
Tuesday: Rest Day. I'm cooking dinner for my boyfriend and we're going to have a chill night in. Mexican food is a perfect way to hide a bunch of veggies and incorporate quality proteins, and keeping it homemade will help me mitigate my normal cheese/sour cream downfalls.
Wednesday: Cardio + upper body strength day.
Thursday: I've got a much-needed hot stone massage scheduled in the afternoon, and I'm incredibly excited. It's been too long.
Friday: My gym hosts a booty and core focused workout every Friday morning at 6am, and I'm going to really push my limits, since I won't be working out on Thursday this week.
Saturday: Rest Day. Work is hosting a company picnic, so I'll at least be outside and walking around, but there's definitely going to be more unhealthy food than I'd prefer.
Sunday: Full body workout. I've been focusing a lot on improving my assisted pull-ups, but don't want to completely fatigue my shoulders, since my personal trainer will likely make my session on Monday upper body focused.
Monday: I'm debating going to an early morning spin class, since I somehow ended up buying a couple discounted ride credits. Either way, I have a scheduled session with my personal trainer in the afternoon, so I should absolutely start moving my weigh day to a different day to avoid the impending water retention.3 -

Something of Note...
There's been a couple of you who add your weight for the previous week AFTER the tallies have been calculated on Sunday. This results in your update being considered late, and not included in the final tabulations. If you need to change weigh days, please let us know. If you need to be excused, please let us know. You have options, all it takes is a couple seconds of self reflection to decide whether to use them.0 -

@minstrelofsarcasm I'd like to change my weigh in to Saturday instead of Sunday then. Would that work better?0
