Thank you @Susanna527 it has been hard work but I'm pleased with the results so far.I did hire a decorator for other rooms but it was expensive.I ached all over last night so I'm keen to get it finished today.Every room is white in my house, apart from the kitchen which is white & dusky pink. Our house is dark so it brightens it up.
I looked at taskrabbit to get some odd jobs done.My hubby works long shifts & is not that handy. So I will try alot of things myself.
Hey team if you struggle with emotional eating then take a look at this week's challenge, you may get some tips & support.

@angmarie28 - Congratulations on finding the exercise bike at such a good price! I don’t have space in my house for any exercise equipment but we are fortunate to live just a block from the local YMCA, where we workout with the trainer twice a week. In the winter, I’d like to use the stationary bike, elliptical, and treadmill more. Our rowing season ends on November 4th, so I’ll be adjusting my exercise schedule then.

@Pupowl - Thanks for sharing the puns and photos. My older son and his friends love to exchange puns so it made me smile to think about them.

@izzyred9400, @Susanna527, and @jessicakrall8 - Great work sprucing up your living spaces! It must be a rejuvenating feeling to have a clean and fresh atmosphere to enter when you get home. I’m about to enter the chaos phase of updating our bathrooms after living in our house for about 27 years. Our sons are coming home for Thanksgiving so I hope the demolition is done by then. It would be wonderful if they can finish one bathroom by then but the contractor has already pushed back the start date by one week. On a positive note, we’ll probably all be spending more family time at the gym so we can use the shower at the YMCA across the street from our house 😂🤣😂.

Congratulations on all the Shape Shifters reporting losses (@ac204, @jessicakrall8, @Armygirlarmyof1, @Susanna527, @CasandraW, etc.) and logging steps (@LaurieWrobo, @Pupowl, @alleykat69, @frankwbrown, @angmarie28, etc.) and/or recommitting to a healthy routine (@leni1us, etc.). Today is ‘Tracking Tuesday’ to me, so I’m trying to become more conscientious about logging my food after drifting a bit. Traveling unexpectedly to my cousin’s funeral two weeks ago, and then traveling again for my cousin’s wedding this past weekend, threw my schedule off. Today is a clean slate and it felt good to row again this morning. I was a little slow getting up, and rusty with my technique during the first practice but improved a bit later in the morning. As Ike to say as my work motto: Practice makes …. BETTER!

    Best wishes, Shape Shifters!

    Good Morning,
I'm so sorry, I thought I posted my weigh in and steps. I used my cell, not my laptop. I guess it didn't post properly.

@LaurieWrobo - I think you’re right about our bodies storing water for muscle repair. It’s a good idea to drink more water. I really need to improve my water intake so I appreciate the reminder!

Great job on keeping up with your steps, Shape Shifters. One of these days I’ll join the challenge but I’m already falling down on my habit tracker reporting so I can’t add a new tracking responsibility until I can sustain my food, exercise, and habit tracker logging. It’s worth all this reporting so I can consistently step back and examine what’s working and not working as I work on becoming healthier — but it takes me a while to integrate the habits into my daily life. I’m looking forward to tracking my steps eventually and congratulations to all of you for walking regularly!

Here is my weekly maintenance weigh in —

    Name: PatriceFitnessPal
    Weigh in Day: Thursday
    PW: 127.8
    CW: 127.3

    SW: 168
    LTD: 40.7

My target range is 120-130 and I’m working on reducing my body fat while building muscle, and improving my strength, flexibility, and balance. I’d like to move closer to 125, which is the mid-range of a healthy BMI for my height (a little over 5’3”).

Best wishes in reaching your goals, Shape Shifters!

Hi Patrice! I'm also 5'3"! (64 years old) I've got a lot further to go. I would like to get down to 132-134, but I'll sure take 127!

How do you force yourself to drink more water? It just tastes Blah to me lately and I noticed that I'm barely drinking more than a cup a day some days. Yesterday I had 4 cups of coffee but 1 20oz cup of water all day. I'm breast feeding still so I know waters important but Im just not feeling it right now. 🥴
