It’s been a rough month. For some reason I gained and retained about 5 lbs of water weight for a few weeks and could not lose it. My feet were swollen and stomach bloated. Also had a bout of diverticulitis for a few days. I was so concerned that I almost went to the doctor. I actually called and was so happy when the office was closed😂 I waited it out and am doing well now.
I have to get over my resistance to going to the doctor and I know my hesitation is because of my weight. Shame and guilt even though none of my doctors have given me reason to feel that. I do it to myself probably because of comments I heard about other people’s weight when I was growing up. You know those “she’d be really pretty if she wasn’t so fat” kind of comments. I was a skinny kid but hearing it about other people made an impression that there’s something wrong with you if you’re overweight. Our perceptions of reality can be so off the mark that they drag us down 🦃 and prevent us from soaring 🦅! Happy December everyone 🎄2 -

THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER’S BIGGEST LOSER IS ..... SmolGojira. WITH AN AMAZING LOSS OF 8.77% BODY WEIGHT!!!! BRAVO!!THE TEAM WHO LOST THE GREATEST PERCENTAGE IN NOVEMBER IS ..... THE BELLY FLATS!!!AWESOME JOB!!WE DID IT! WE MADE IT THROUGH THE MONTH TOGETHER. WHETHER YOU LOST, GAINED, OR MAINTAINED - YOU ARE STILL HERE, YOU ARE STILL STRIVING TO REACH YOUR GOALS, YOU ARE A WINNER.
THERE WERE A NUMBER OF IMPRESSIVE INDIVIDUAL EFFORTS TOO. MOST WINNERS ACHIEVED ABOVE 2% or 3% LOSS FOR THE MONTH WHICH IS INCREDIBLE, CONGRATULATIONS!!
OVERALL, THE TOTAL COMBINED WEIGHT LOSS WAS A FANTASTIC 13.6 LBS!! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!
