Sounds like a lovely weekend, Meghan! No real snow here. But we might have a shot at a snow day Wednesday!
Kids were so loud. Tomorrow I am just going to have them do doodle notes and call it good. Short lesson, then they color and I put in grades. Everyone wins.
I have been cooking a lot more lately. Been trying a few new things. I think I might throw something in the crockpot for Wednesday.0 -

Happy Tuesday. Monday was not too bad. My mood and emotions are more in check, which is good. Nothing like feeling you are about to burst in to tears at your desk. UGH.
@KateNkognito our Tortellini Sausage Soup came out very nice and was tasty! Link below to the one I made. Tis the season for soups! Hope you do get a nice snow day break on Wednesday!
Our weather has been pretty mild here. Little bit of rain but not much else. Close to 40 degrees F and sunny at the moment. Next week is our big meeting in Florida and I just want no big weather activities to contend with, please! LOL

Meghan, that soup looks good. I always have cheese tortellini in the fridge. Tortellini plus a little butter and parmesan is always nice on a cold day. Or I grab some Alfredo sauce. Or in a pasta salad. I use it a lot.

I have had a migraine all day. My kids were pretty good and those that weren't were kindly asked to exit the premises and take a walk to the office. Praying for a snow day tomorrow. Not looking good, though.
Made dinner again tonight.

Hope you get a snow day today, @KateNkognito!! Right now we are sitting at a cloudy 34 degrees F. Supposed to rain down here on the coast. A little bit north and west and upwards is getting the snow. Office is QUIET. Lots of peeps working remotely. That's okay. Traffic was pretty easy today. I will take it.
I love your cheese tortellini ideas! I may have to try. For that recipe, I meant to mention that I didn't add the apple cider that it called for. Sounded good, I just didn't feel like searching for it at the store. I also subbed frozen green peas for the zucchini. Just didn't feel like paying a lot for organic zucchini as that was all my grocery store had. Came out very good!!

No snow day.
But it was a pretty good day, so not the end of the world. Tomorrow is Friday Eve! And it is almost the end of January already!? Crazy stuff.
Going to have pasta of some sort tonight. I grabbed some shrimp from the store and I will see what I have in the cabinet/fridge to go with it and make leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Happy Friday.
Yesterday was busy but productive. The nice thing about my job is I get paid OT. So any extra hours worked are compensated for.
Working from home today and tying up some loose ends. 40 degrees F and sunny. No measurable snow has hit the NY Metropolitan Area for almost one full year! Hoping nothing happens in the next two weeks or so when a lot of us are traveling.

Why did I say that today would be less crazy? I think they took that as a challenge. Going to bed now. Yes, I know the sun is still up. Don't judge me. Also, I had two donuts, a snack pack of cookies and tacos today. Maybe not my best life choices, but I am pretty sure the donuts saved lives.0

Happy sunny Monday from southeastern Florida. Flew down yesterday afternoon and without any issues. Full flight but no delays!
Will be here Monday through Thursday onsite as the meeting planner for our big communications conference. One of the fun parts of my job!

Day 1 AM 1 in full effect here in Florida! It is supposed to be sunny and 80 all week here. Too bad I am in a meeting room All day long. Bah.
Stay safe and warm @KateNkognito it looks like it is a cool 33 degrees F and snowing back home in CT at the moment. Yikes! Will have to give my guy a call later to see how he is doing.

Still cold. It was a loooong day. Made a quick fry of some steak strips and made a quesadilla thing for dinner. Really good and really quick. Why isn't it Friday yet?0
