I have Collin Duty this morning then on to my trainer for 60 at noon for 60 mins.
My Collin Duty for yesterday was cancelled...it was raining and cold...I did not walk...felt weird because I had sooo much time to do nothing. :#

Collin Duty all morning. I want to walk afterwards to the top of the hill to get a picture of Mt. Diablo before the snow melts. We'll see how Collin Duty goes. :p

Did not get to the top of the hill...legs were too tired after carrying Collin around for so long this morning...then my neck and arms got really tired. Did get 5.49 miles done in 116 mins...I was slow!!

I went for a planned hour around the block (up and down hills) walk and bumped into girlfriends going the opposite direction. Joining them and backtracking saved me from doing a last hill, but my legs were still rubber when I got home. Needing this. :)

Swim lesson on Wednesday and Thursday. had a breakthrough on Wednesday so had to go right back Thursday to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. I finally feel like I will be a swimmer. It took long enough just to get comfortable in the water but I now fell like a swimmer. Still just s beginner but I’m okay with that. Looking forward to my birthday trip this year! 🏊🏼‍♀️

Finished my third 50min hike this week. Just in time before the rains start again. It was required for the Hogwarts. (I'm also writing a 500+ word FanFic and a bunch of other stuff.)

High ladies! Just getting back from my trip to Brazil. Really good trip work wise. And of course amazing experiences on food :) No gym in the hotel and very little ability to exercise, but in my regrouping phase as normal getting back in the groove. Ate way too much beautiful Brazilian meat. Worth every bite :)

My goal is to hydrate, eat a whole heck of a lot less and move more next week :)

Chris I was really looking forward to that photo. Wish you had been able to get it. Nice workouts.

Paula you are doing so wonderful. Keep going.

Kathy swimming is so wonderful. I can still remember when you were learning how in secret.

Karen so glad you are back and back into the groove.

Worked on the ceiling in the cats room. The room is a storage room of sorts also. So a pain to work in. Lots of over head stretches. :D Went to Hobby Lobby. I picked up a small bottle, and etching materials for letters. Planning on etching the name of a ship on the bottle. Then toss it in my aquarium. SS Minnow?

Still working on closets. I’m truly purging and not “reorganizing”. Lots to give to charity and my sisters have both come by to get some things. I will continue today and get a walk in as well.

    Have a great Sunday ladies!

I went to yoga yesterday morning, which was exactly what i needed. Challenging class!

Then took Mom to have lunch with our neighbors from childhood who we are still close to. She misses the after the move. We celebrated Mr. Marion's 89th birthday. He's got dementia...but yesterday was a gift....he was so lucid. Love him....huge impact on my life!

Chris Mount Diablo is beautiful! Thanks for the photo. Save the toys for now. Then recycle them. I will show a photo of my bottle when I get it done.

Kathy I should clean out my closets. I hate going through things.

Karen love the photo. It is great to get together with family and friends.

Paula I had a tough time getting all the challenges done this last week.

Still working on the ceiling in the small bedroom. It is a wreck! Walked Barney and Libby yesterday. He did lots better. Even let a large dog walk by him without acting out. Love Caesars shows! He really has been helpful.

Shelley, I took the task for "Write a 500 word FanFic about TriWizard" but misread the instructions and thought it said 5,000 words! Was up to 4,000 words with only 2 hours left and really stressed. Then I went to notate the task and saw the "500" - whew!!!!!

Also had to do four one-hour walks; and love having this option again, to get my metabolism revving. And maybe if I get stronger, it won't need so much Advil for the pain.

But I'm thinking of skipping next term. This challenge eats up so much of my life - it would be nice if there was an option for less participation.

Shelley when I read about you working on your ceiling my arms start crying!! Oh, Man!! And YES!! You and I started together a long time ago! Some app where everyone went to Facebook or something like that and we were part of that group...only the two of us were left on MFP...do you remember that...or am I just dreaming it up??
I have Collin Duty this morning then our Housekeeper is coming so I gotta clean up before she gets here.

For those of you doing FitBit challenges, the following comment was posted at Hogwarts:
    jflocrna wrote: »
For those of you who have Fitbit watches, Fitbit has been informing its users that at the end of this month, they are discontinuing badges and challenges. We have had a small group of MFP Hogwarts Fitbit users who have occasionally done step/activity challenges with our Fitbit group.

Since Fitbit is closing off challenges to us, we have opted to use another app, called Stridekick, to do challenges together. You just have to download the app and set up an account, then put in a friend request.
My username on the new app is jflo_crna, we also have @starjam25 who is joni_mc over there, and @Slinky_BraveHeartBunsOfSteel who is S_BraveHeart over there.

The only suggestion I would make if you sign up on the Stridekick app is to adjust your profile to "private" or "friends only" instead of "public". Since they don't have private groups on Stridekick, you might end up with a bunch of randos sending you friend requests. You can do this by clicking on your profile in the lower right corner of your dashboard, then go to the setting gear wheel in the upper right of your profile, then scrolling down to the "Profile Privacy" tab and choosing accordingly.

I wanted to post this before end of term and before Fitbit discontinued the challenge option so other members would find us and any other Fitbit owners who might be interested.

Paula that was so awful. I felt relieved for you. I don't think they would have counted them though. I to am thinking of skipping next term. Spring is coming up and I will be busy. Wasn't there a ghost option at one point?

Karen it can be tough. I think, self, you could have just worked out again! I could have looked up a Darebee work out and done it!

Chris you are so correct. And I so wish I still had that workout. I look for it all the time. No luck. I even messaged the gal who first put it up and never get a reply. Still off on Facebook I guess. :disappointed:

Paula thanks for sharing. I think this is why I originally started the challenges on my FitBit.

I have a commissioner meeting tonight. So no ceiling work. It is slow going. Wet some down, wait 15 minutes and go scrape it off.

207.5 this morning. Been eating my exercise calories - probably not a good idea.

Walked around the block (that's a one hour hike up and down hills; switchback on the steep parts to help my knees. Today was noticeably easier to do than previously.
