Got up at 7:00...out the door at 8:20...did 6.65 miles in 133 mins. The mins are long because I ended up helping a guy who was lost in our neighborhood...actually, Pat ended up helping him cuz I have Direction Dysfunction!! He stopped his car at our corner (I was just ending my walk) and asked me if I knew where this certain street was. I knew the name (had walked down it before) but I couldn't remember...got out my phone...but lost the street. I walked down to our house, the gentleman drove down...I got Pat and the gentleman came up to the door. Pat helped him with the directions. The gentleman was a gray-hair like we are and was very nice.
That's our Good Deed for July!!

It’s been a tough month. Not looking forward to that final weigh-in. But it’s a new month and will do better. My sister is home from Dubai. She will give me some much needed help with mom. I can get back to the gym and have some me time.
Ron and I are headed to Destin tomorrow to celebrate his birthday. We’re staying until Thursday. This trip was planned before I knew my sister was coming home. But now it’s good that she’s here to stay with mom and give my niece a break.
Can’t wait to sit on the beach and just relax. That is our only plan. Just enjoying the beach and having some alone time. And taking Ron to his favorite restaurant for his August 1st birthday. Talk to you soon!

Chris I would clean my house more if I had a housekeeper. I should hire one. 😉. I get lost easily also.
Kathy sounds like a great time for you. Caring for our moms really is work. Rewarding but challenging. Enjoy your time with Ron. Tell him happy birthday for me. I am also not looking forward to my weigh in
My new sidewalk will be finished tomorrow. Forms need removed. So glad I hired someone to help me this time. And now my mom will be able to walk safely around my yard.

I am a junk food junkie and I need help0 -
Hi Gals,
On a train headed to Budapest from Vienna. In Budapest for work this week and decides to fly into Vienna and spend a day there….I’ve always wanted to and it didn’t disappoint! Had a wonderful day yesterday and wonderful food…got 16,000 steps in which was great!
It’s going to be a super busy work week….lots of meetings and workshops with my leader team around the globe…really looking forward to having this group all together!
Some pics from yesterday in Vienna!

Amazing, Karen! Glad you had fun. Your trip sounds amazing!!
Kathy, tell Ron Happy Birthday from me and you guys EAT CAKE to celebrate!!
Shelley, pictures of the sidewalk, please!! I love our housekeeper. She's been with us since we moved here...11 years!...She also does Sara's house. Don't know what I'd do without her.
I am trying to be better about my eating. I can't seem to get out of the 150s. It was so easy to get into them, tho!! NO MORE JUNK FOOD!!!!
I did 5.15 miles in 94 mins this morning. I went to a park I haven't been to in a while and over to where the Rocky Road used to be but is now a new housing project. Made some new friends and met an old friend at the park. It was beautiful out there.
Collin and Ronan are coming over for a couple of hours to see how that goes. We will be having Collin in the mornings when Ronan starts school August 7th. He will be In Class now instead of Virtual. Got our fingers crossed.

Karen simply beautiful. What a wonderful way to spend your work week. Thanks for the photos.
I will get some photos tomorrow Chris. I love it. Mom can now walk on a flat surface. Went to Pizza Ranch today. Only 2 pieces of pizza. Had a large salad. And half a root beer float. Then later a salad with an egg. Sadly I got burned.
Shelley
I will not be defined by what I eat.

Karen love your pictures from Budapest and Vienna. So looking forward to going to Europe one day.
Here’s a couple from Destin.
Not happy with the swimsuit picture. But it’s incentive to get back to work.

Kathy no swimsuit will compare to your beautiful dresses. I so envy your being able to be there. What a beautiful beach. Or to your smile. How are your planks going? We should do a plank challenge.
I did get my 10,000 steps in today. Partly due to my new sidewalk. It was so hot today. I opened my sunroof while at work. Then forgot I did it. It rained several hours later. My cup holders were full. Sheesh

Kathy, you are beautiful! Don't even worry about it, my friend. I love your pictures.
Amazing. Shelley!! I love it. I hope your mom does too. And a plank challenge? I can hardly make it to a minute w/my elbows on a padded bench without complaining, and I have to do them three times a week!!!!!!!!! EGADS, MAN!
I had Collin Duty this morning then brought Ronan home with me. Now I am just reading.
I have to go into Kaiser tomorrow morning to get a patch put on my chest to monitor my A-Fib that has just been diagnosed. Doc said it just started recently. MAN!!! Talk about "nasty words"!! They put me on a new med that made me give up my Ibuprofen...Tylenol just doesn't work the same for me. I have to wait to the end of this week before I can attempt to walk up the steep path to take pictures of Mt. Diablo, unless I get told tomorrow I can't do it. We'll just have to wait and see...sigh. If it's not one darn thing after another.

Chris I sure hope they don't say that you can no longer do the steep hills. I know that is not what you want to hear. Hoping for a better outcome. No planks then. I wonder if you can do wall planks? Is that a thing?
Cleaned tanks and took mom to Wal-Mart. She never gets to shop at home.

Thanks Shelley. A plank challenge sounds great. I’ll be home tomorrow. Need to get started.
Here’s a couple of pictures from the birthday dinner lady night at Ron’s favorite restaurants.

Kathy, love your pictures!
Shelley, I WILL DO THE PLANK CHALLENGE, TOO!! I can do them using the bench. I can't get up and down off the ground so easily. My knees DO NOT like it. I've already messed up the right one again. Playing in the cages w/the boys makes it tough to get up and down.
The A-Fib patch is a little big...Collin is going to want to eat it!! I get to go up the steep hill this weekend. I'm shooting for Saturday. I have my trainer today at noon.
Ronan is coming over to play w/Grandpa this afternoon.
That's it for now! Have a great Wednesday ladies!!

Kathy - beautiful picture! I love your dress :-)
I’m pretty exhausted. Walk 22,000 steps today. I never do that much on a normal day. Finish work a little early and then towards a Budapest with one of my team members. And boy does he have energy :-) got some amazing pictures, though. My feet are killing me!
