Wonderful news about the solar panels, @77tes! Congrats and well done on your many sewing projects this month!

I can’t say I’ve been in bed by 10PM every night, but I have been turning in consistently earlier and it’s made a huge difference in how I feel and how quickly I can recall things…especially people’s names. I don’t feel fuzzy brained when I get good restorative sleep. My eating choices are better too. I want to keep this up.

@77tes I think you have done great things in August. I think we need to build in a little slack to our habit development.

I did feel a sense of accomplishment with my 24 poems for August. Considering that I didn’t write anything much at all in September, it certainly got my creative juices flowing again.

Later: Mmmm 🤔 I think I will just make that number up to 25. See what I mean about my muse 😝

    31st August - Patterns
Daylight hours grow shorter as the summer days rush by.
I gaze up at a super blue moon that fills the evening sky.
Fading flowers drop as trees turn to amber gold.
I shiver as the air outside is touched with winter cold.
Seasons parade through my life, the cycle does not end.
No matter what I wish for, my will must learn to bend.

    (C) 2023 - Terri Richardson

Now I need to edit my other post 😝

And I stuck to my Daily Solid Habits, even though, some days, it was the minimum, it was more than good enough.

What a lovely poem @TerriRichardson112 ! 24 poems in a month is quite an accomplishment!

@themedalist , well done getting to bed earlier. That’s always a struggle.

Thanks @MadisonMolly2017 for a really encouraging theme for the dog days.
