Good morning!
@KateNkognito Ugh, I know what you mean about heat and humidity! This has been another rough summer! My main issue is getting ready in the AM. Since it is an old home we don't have central air and I have to shut off the A/C when I blow dry my hair, so we don't overload the circuits.
When I get in the car I like to BLAST the A/C to cool off. When it is really hot and humid is when it is pretty much unbearable. Soon it will be fall and a tad cooler and I won't have to worry anymore sigh...
Good for you for doing your nails! I know I should do better with that. I tend to just keep my nails short and filed and I do my toes myself so at least my feet look good in sandals. LOL I love how professional a nice manicure looks.
We had a nice one this weekend with less humidity and sun. This coming Friday I am taking a vacation day and we are closed for Monday, September 4 for Labor Day WHOOT! Can't wait for a short break. Nice weather is expected too which is good. We may plan a beach day this Friday and I am excited!
We have been invited back to a friend's house in New Jersey for a little Labor Day get together this coming Sunday, which is around an hour drive from us in CT but should be a nice time. They have a nice home with a swimming pool. Just need to drink lots of water and wear a good SPF.

75 degrees F here and mostly cloudy. Little humid but not crazy. The weather has been so odd this year. At one point on the local news they said that it hadn't reached 90 degrees F in August at all. Not like us. Beautiful weekend on tap after some rains come in tonight and tomorrow.
Happy to report that the traffic was slightly more than last week since some schools are back in session. It is what it is! Got in on time and with no issue.

Whoops! I missed yesterday! Allergies are kicking my tush. I took my classes outside yesterday and now I have a super sore throat and sinus pressure. My students were understanding as my voice went in and out today.
@Meghan509 I can't believe it is only Tuesday. This week has been a month long, so far! I need this long weekend! Plus we have professional development on Tuesday which means I can sit in the back and play games on my phone most of the day. Or write notes back and forth with my teacher bestie. Then three short days of school and another weekend!

The good news is the Florida hurricane happening now, is not hitting my family's homes this time around! Just some wind and rain and my Step Mom said it actually looks like the sun is out part of the time?! My nephew had no school yesterday and today, to be safe but knock wood all good. Phew.
Glad your week is going well @KateNkognito! Yes, nice to be outside. Enjoy your day as well on Tuesday! That is a nice little "break"! We were all chatting here for a bit and catching up. Nice to have less people around!
We have rain right now but it should clear up mid day and be nice all the way through next week. Weeee!
Less than two more work days and then it is a wrap here! Can't wait.

Today is my Friday woo hoo! Not much planned tomorrow or beyond, aside from Sunday with friends but fine with me.
Looking forward to NOT setting an alarm and just plain old relaxing.
