"Amazing loss! I didn’t know that about the fluid and drinking water. I don’t know if I could up mine anymore than I have."

It's not always easy! But, I'm really tired of my legs hurting from the water retention. Also, I've had some problems with my legs and I've had two procedures done on my right leg.

The heart specialist told me that if my legs kept swelling, there could be some major problems with my heart. I've already had one heart attack and I don't want to have another or a stroke. To much water retention can put fluid around my heart and cause major problems. Because, even though my legs are retaining water, the fluid is most likely in other areas of my body, (what I was told by the Doctor.)

I'm willing to try, no matter how hard it is to keep from having things get a lot worse for me. I'm already dealing with major health problems, and yes it is very hard to try to drink so much water. But, if it's helping to remove the excess fluid, I'm willing to do it. Once, I get the excess fluid to leave my body, I'll go back to drinking my normal amount.

    Friday Check in

NSV: I brought a bag of salad greens, a container of shredded chicken and a bottle of my favorite salad dressing to work yesterday. I mixed some together in a bowl for lunch, but left the rest in my mini fridge to have over the next few days. Much more noticeable & easy to remember than buried in a fridge drawer at home.

Sorry to hear. Hugs & prayers that you get some lasting healing soon.

While I am happy about breaking into a new decade I know it’s because I haven’t been eating much because of the pain in my lower left stomach. I see my doctor again on Monday and if things haven’t settled down I will have to go on antibiotics.

    Happy FriYAY!

So sorry my friend. Proud of you for getting there, the happiness will come when you maintain it and then drop even more. 💜

Every day this week has been under 240 so maybe I've finally shifted into the next lower rung. I'm going to be careful this weekend not to break the trend!

    Way to go👏🏽

    Weigh In Day: Saturday
    PW: 299
    CW: 291.4

7.6 lbs I believe there are two main reasons for this loss. Not eating at all or not much (due to being sick) this past week. Also, losing some of the water retention from my badly swollen legs (which my body has been holding onto the past few months). Still have a few more lbs to lose of the excess water, hopefully, that will continue to come off in the next few weeks.

I keep a gallon of water by me during the day, to remind me to drink more water. My goal is to drink a gallon of water daily (128 fl oz), most times I achieve this goal, sometimes I don't. It seems to be working on releasing the excess water. I've read & been told that drinking more water releases the excess water. (I really didn't believe it), how can adding more water, help your body release stored water? After doing this for around two weeks? I'm now a believer. Because it seems to be working and I can feel the water releasing from my legs. My normal amount of daily water intake was (64 fl oz)! Now 128 fl oz, double the daily amount. Wish I'd done this before now.

Awesome loss and awesome work on water intake. I hope you're feeling a bit better🫶🏽

Was able to crank out a virtual 3k yesterday.. won't say it was easy, but it definitely went well. That 5k must've woken my legs up😅 looking forward to another next week.

Fantastic loss. Hope your feeling better. Be prepared to gain a bit as you start eating properly again. Might not happen :)

Thank you both!! Yes, I'm starting to feel better. Still feeling a little achy and run down; but, I'm slowly improving daily. 😃

I starting to eat again, in small amounts for now. I'll do my best to keep it under control. Lets see what this week will show on my next weigh-in.

PW: 142.6 pounds (2 weeks ago: Sept. 9th) (didn't weight in Sept. 16th due to health problems flaring up)
    CW: 141.9 pounds :) (Down 0.7 pounds) <3

Finally got back down to my weight from May 20th, which was 142.2 pounds and have moved on past that weight now. B)
It's be a LONG time since I saw 141.9 pounds on the scale.
Down 28.1 pounds from my highest weight in 2016.
Need to lose 11.9 pounds to get to my goal weight.
    Pushing on!

    NSWs for tonight:
At a family member's place tonight with 6 other family members and they ordered take out.
    (1) They were going to order everyone the same thing but I didn't want what they were ordering and to me a restaurant meal isn't worth the calories and unhealthy ingredients if I don't enjoy it. I spoke up and I was able to order something closer to what I actually wanted.
    (2) I was getting too full so I stopped eating and took part of my dinner home.
    (3) Everyone but me had dessert. I knew I didn't need anything else as I was full. It was torture :s watching people eat something I really wanted but I didn't cave into temptation.
