Chris while I found the photo simply adorable. And agree with Kathy about making memories. I simply can not abide in you pulling one over on your trainer like that. You are fined 10 squats and 5 burpees, bwahahahaha.

Today was another non stop day at work. I thought initials were going to be easy. Only 5 inmates I custody. But no. Finished 4 and the jail logged off. I discovered that the last inmate also had court in District court. Which means they would have brought her over to the court. And my co-worker in holding got all snarky with me over the radio. Really? She should have known I needed her in my court since she took the call! And everyone hears us on our radios. Dispatch, patrol the jail. I found out our Sgt. Called her and chewed her out. Now that served her right.

Chris - I work for a chemical and and equipment company that cleans water. Industrial municipal etc. I've been there for 25 years coming in January, not sure that I'll make it too many more though... it's been fairly messy. But let's see. Semi job is the director of customer care. I've got 150 folks on my team throughout the globe. Awesome people. Most days it's an amazing job. I do enjoy the traveling piece but not quite this much!

I had a Great time in Toronto and then took the weekend and Nova Scotia with my BFF. What an amazing time. Gorgeous gorgeous part of Canada which I've never been to. Very cool vibe and really lovely people. Unfortunately I got a cold which I am now fighting which is really been a challenge.

The second challenge is my bag has yet to show up. I got in on Monday night and I'm still waiting for the bag. According to Air Canada online it was on its way to Philadelphia on Tuesday but I have heard nothing. Talk to a lovely customer service agent who was clearly not in this country trying to do his very best. He said he put a rush on it and made a priority but it still has not been scanned in Philadelphia. Cross your fingers that I get my bag!

Haven't done much exercise this week because I can barely breathe! Hoping this cold goes away :-) sadly I have to go into the office today to get to the dentist otherwise I would stay home!

Well that's about it from my end. I'll post some pictures from Nova Scotia when I get a little bit more time. It really was a wonderful trip.

I gained thirty pounds while my internet was down. My knees are bad now so I'm not exercising; and even though I eat right, I don't know when to stop. Tracking seems to be helping a lot.

Tracking is a big help Paula. I should start again. So glad you are here.

We had a friend stay with us last night. She lives on Casper Mountain right where our cabin is. They got lots of snow up there and closed the road. I didn't get to exercise. But since she is a clean eater I was good.

    Got to run.

We didn't have Collin yesterday. He caught Ronan's cold and is stuffy and snotty...Sara stayed home from work and took care of him. We had Ronan after school. I saw my trainer in the afternoon.
Today I did 5.64 miles in 108 mins to the post office and back. It was beautiful out there this morning. The rest of my day involves reading and reading!

Reading and reading. Well that sounds simply wonderful. I do hope Collin feels better soon. Have you ever shared a photo of the post office?

Today was busy. Well after I finally got up. Cleaned all the aquariums and did water changes. Then outside to clean out 2 of our 30 foot garden beds. That counts as squat work! Then I relaxed while trying to learn Spanish. A quick weight workout and my back/hip exercises. We then attended a friend's 80 birthday party. We had cake. It was delish. Then home to spend 30 minutes in the hot tub. What a wonderful day.

While soaking in the hot tub I came to a conclusion about my aquarium dilemma. What to do with the RedSea aquarium? It houses my oldest fish and anemone. They can't go in the tank with the larger fish. I decided to purchase a new tank for the corals in the coral tank. And put all the inhabitants of the 2 smaller tanks in one custom aquarium. Now to design the tank. I will put off getting the larger tank until next year. One move at a time.

Morning ladies. So happy to see you here dear Paula.

My luggage did arrive last night at about midnight. Thank goodness! My luggage was completely ruined. Huge crack down the side. I'm just so glad that it was returned and I have my things and I'm going to leave it at that. I don't have the energy to file a claim.

Still dealing with the congestion and the cold but it's working its way through. Haven't felt 100% so really haven't done too much exercise. I do plan to go to yoga this morning. I also scheduled myself a massage so hopefully he can drain my head lol :-)

I too have not been pleased with some weight gain on the scale. I've been traveling so much and have had so much going on that I really have struggled. But here we are one foot in front of the other right? Hope everybody has a great Saturday. Attaching a few pictures from my Nova Scotia trip. It was really gorgeous....we went to a Nordic spa (amazing), multiple vineyards and an area called "Peggy's Cove". Just gorgeous lighthouse and rock formation. Love the whole trip up most importantly seeing my BFF :-)

Karen I would know that lipstick anywhere! Even under a green mask. ;) I love the lighthouse. Light houses conjure up so many feelings for me. Horror movies. Loneliness. And even romance. Was that a phone booth? And did it still work? So glad you have your belongings now.

My inner thighs are sore from yesterday. So no squats. Upper body done. And my back/hip routine done. Still trying to learn Spanish. Went shopping today. Bought a Kohl's gift card for my granddaughter Marker as birthday. She turned 18 today. Went to lunch at a nice restaurant. Ordered a burger and house salad. Then a salad at dinner, and cake!

    Hi ladies,

Ron finally came home lady week so I spent the weekend with him.he’s had a tough couple of months. We enjoyed each others company, watched tv and talked a lot catching up on everything. He seems to be doing well. He had time with his mom before her passing and that helped a lot.

Paula it’s so good to have you back. You’ll get back on track. You always do. I’m also a 10 pound at a time person. It helps on the journey not to look at the big picture. Right now I’m still trying to get out of the 170s.it will happen.

Karen I live your pictures. Nova Scott’s sounds like fun. Traveling with your bff is always fun.

Chris I hope Colin feels better soon. Keep getting in those miles!

Shelley love hearing about your aquariums. Cleaning them all had to be a good workout.

I’m going to spend a lot of time with mom the next two weeks. She’s upset her Braves are out of the playoffs. I’m going to have to find her something to binge on Netflix. Last year it was Yellowstone. Hope I can find her something as good.

    Have a good week ladies.

    (For myself)
Looked up old weights just to determine trends. Even though it's 20-30 extra pounds, the 160's feel comfortable. But when it sneaks up into the 180's, for some reason it's extremely hard to get on track and bring it down again - it can take months and is usually triggered by an illness that disrupts eating; or extreme fright at being out of control and headed back into major obesity.

It has been 13 years since we lost Nick. He was only 20. Cancer sucks. We got together with Sara, Pete and the boys and went out to Nick's niche. We changed his flowers and stayed a bit. We ordered dinner and played with Collin and Ronan. Kiss your loved ones and tell them you love them because you never know what's going to happen.

Chris I will. You truly never know when a loved one will be gone. I never expected the call that let me know my brother had been crushed by a car. I started smoking again that day. Hug them often.

Kathy and Paula the struggle to never give up is real. I get on the scale often. Maybe I need a fridge with a mirror on it. Hmmmm

Kathy you and Ron needed that time to reflect and catch up.

I am trying to teach Barney o spin. It really looks a bit like a train wreck now.

Thank you, my friends. Sending you love and hugs about your brother Shelley. So sad.
I didn't walk this morning...had to clean house because our housekeeper was coming.
Collin was pretty unhappy this morning. He has Ronan's cold and doesn't know how to blow his nose yet. Ronan learned how to do it this time around. I set up Ronan's battle...we'll see how it goes.

Shelley - it was a phone booth. The vineyard was owned by a British guy who thought he would put a British phone booth in the middle of the vineyard. You can actually go into it and make a phone call anywhere in Canada. Pretty cool.

Just did a really good 45 minute power walking class outside. Really really nice outside. Wanted to get some walking in before the rain comes.

Working on my snacking and just trying to increase the protein :-)

We had an earthquake this morning!! I was napping Collin when it struck...rattled the bed!! Pat was in the front of the house. He didn't feel it.
Collin was still really stuffy today...didn't sleep well at all then had to go get a shot at Kaiser. It was another rough morning for us.
Then the Sonata wouldn't start for me. The trunk was open and the trunk light was on again! Battery dead. Must be a fob issue. Clicking in my purse or in Pat's pocket. Who knows? So no workout for me unless you count this morning.

Karen that is so kewl! I miss phone booths. All the great movies have them. Superman. The Birds to name two. Good for you getting in your power walk. Nice job.

Chris I hadn't even heard there was an earthquake in CA. Glad everyone is ok. That really is a pain about your car. Would drive me nuts!

Work was fast and furious. So many protection orders and drugs. Always drugs. Bench presses today. Curls, wrist curls and presses. Oh and 95 squats spread out. Then my back/hip exercises. Almost ready for burpees! Muahaha.

Sonata is okay now...Pat fixed it. The Check Engine light came on, too. Car stuff makes me crazy!!!
So far there is no reported damage from the earth quake. Everyone just saying it rattled them.
I got 3.30 miles done in 67 mins this morning then we had Collin Duty. He is still stuffy and not napping more that 30 mins...sigh. Pat is wonderful about playing with him and feeding him while I am fixing the food. Collin is starting on solids...bananas, strawberries, peaches etc. Collin and I did go for a walk while Pat finished biking this morning. I tried to keep to the shade, but Collin figured out which way to turn to keep the sun out of his eyes. He's a smarty. He understands what you are saying to him, and I swear he said "Grandpa" today!!!

    Hey Chris,

Down here we got the emergency alert on our phones about your earthquake too, but we didn't feel it. I think it was 3.something in your area. Glad you were all okay.

The alert sounded like a siren going off, designed to trigger panic and instant response. But earthquakes happen so fast, that messages are too late to be useful. The alert made the news that night because i was scarier than the earthquake.

Hundreds of earthquakes happen daily worldwide. If anyone's interested, here is a search map:
    https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/?extent=31.80289,236.64551&extent=50.84757,279.66797&magnitude=all&sort=largest&listOnlyShown=true&timeZone=utc

Our Emergency Alerts were late by 20 mins up here!! The Elementary School at the end of our block had one yesterday morning!! A Tuck And Cover I think it's called...the kids tuck themselves under their desks and cover their heads. It was a practice...days after the quake. :#
We had Collin this morning then I had my trainer for 60 mins. Ronan is here now. Both boys will be back around 5:00 this evening so Sara and Pete can have a Dinner Date. Pete said two hours...then he said, "Maybe three hours." Man, I could get my nasty snark on right about now...but I won't. :#
Going to walk to the post office tomorrow then do nothing!!!
Weather prediction is for rain on Sunday...64% chance...hmmmm...nopey, nope.
Have a good weekend, my friends.

Sounds like you all have been busy. And Chris it only takes 90 minutes to eat out most places. You have a right to be a bit peeved!

    Paula thanks for the information.

I have 5 Casper patrol cars in front of my home. I went out and spoke with them. Looks like they are handing out reservations to the state pen. To many rentals around me now. Rocky and I have been house hunting lately. It is to expensive to move now though. And we have put in so much work here.

Well, yesterday did not go easy on me!! Collin got tired. Ronan wanted all the attention and wouldn't listen. I fed him...he wanted an egg salad sandwich, apple without the peal, banana, chocolate milk, regular milk. He ate the whole apple, three bites of the sandwich, 1/2 the banana, 1/2 the chocolate milk, none of the reg milk. There was soooo much he didn't eat...he was killing me. Collin had some banana and started to get fussy. I sent the kids a msg. and they got here in about 30 mins.
Sorry for whining, it just ended up too much for me. Pat said we won't be doing that again.
So...I did not walk today...I sat and read some Reacher...I'm still sitting and reading!!
Tomorrow is a new day and a new adventure!!
