It was a really nice day and I got a lot done.
The kids were a little bit squirrelly, but did pretty well. I am ready for my FIVE days off. Alarms have been silenced and I am fully prepared to sleep in late tomorrow morning.

Relaxing week off here. Today we are going to the movies to see Napoleon. Looking forward to it!

We had a nice dinner at our friend's house and both of us had seconds of course! She made a nice moist turkey. Her secret is to use an oven bag! Have done the same in the past. I love all the veggies and potatoes of course! Yum.
Relaxing day and weekend on tap here. Nothing planned which is okay by me. We had plans later today that got cancelled. Our friends both have a cold and thought it would be better to cancel then have us over. She said they felt crappy yesterday and stayed in for Turkey Day.
We saw the movie Napoleon on Wednesday afternoon and it was good! Well done.

It is a cold and snowy day here. Perfect for snuggling the dog and running laundry. Went to the store this morning before it really started coming down. People were driving like they had never seen snow before. 🤦🏽♀️
@Meghan509 Glad you had a good Thanksgiving! I have heard good things about that movie. I'll have to look for it when it is streaming.

Monday fun day here! LOL I honestly cannot complain. I was off work for a week but I am almost all the way through my email inbox. Appears to have been quiet last week.
Wow, snow already @KateNkognito!! Saw that on the news. Sigh... Crazy! Hope you enjoyed your relaxing day the other day and had a good weekend. No snow or really any rain here. Just a little colder.
We had lots of down time the past week and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Going back to work in person tomorrow as usual but that's okay as before I know it, I will be off again for Christmas break!

Yes, it was nice to have nothing to do! Thanks @KateNkognito!! I am off again starting on Wednesday, 12/20 and then I go through to 1/1, and back on 1/2. I am already looking forward to that. LOL
Back in the office today but good to see my colleagues. Everybody seems to be in good spirits. Traffic was decent too.

Just popping in really quickly. I popped up a couple pounds over Thanksgiving, but I am back down today. Hormones and yummy food got me. I can fit my wedding ring on my pinky again. In 25 pounds I should be able to get it on my ring finger. That should be a year or so from now.1

I am having a good day here. Traffic was normal and not too bad. Colleagues are being nice to me. LOL Honestly can't say I have had any trouble with anybody here in a LONG time. All of those old drama queens are long gone.
Getting ready for an 11:00am Eastern call where I have to show the presentation from my computer. I get a little nervous that something could go wrong but it is what it is!
That's pretty much it here. Cold here today! When I left the house this AM it was in the 20's F. Big winter coat and gloves are in effect!

We are on the home stretch! I feel like December is going to FLY once it arrives. Which reminds me that I need to ask my sister what her kids would want for Christmas!
Quiet day here so far in the office. This afternoon my colleagues and I are going to start taking out the holiday decorations and put up our little Christmas Tree. Feels like we just did that the last time?! 2023 flew.
Major headache happening but Excedrin Migraine is helping. Silly hormones are kicking my rear. UGH.

Well, I felt sorry for my husband until about an hour into my day when I started to get sick too. 🤒 I took all the supplements and medicines I can think of. Hopefully I will be better in the morning. If not, I stayed a bit late and made sub plans.
@Meghan509 I hope you feel better! We need a new tree this year. We are going to decorate this weekend. It snowed so much last weekend, it really looks like Christmas already.
