Love this! We can use this thread to write about the wrong kind of things we've done :) A sort of confessional thread?

    I'll go first:

Yesterday I pushed it too far and went until 5:30 before having "lunch" - after eating breakfast around 9. That resulted in stopping at the donut shop on the way home and having just a bit too much to eat once I arrived home. Fortunately I was off having the most amazing walk (roll in the mud) during the afternoon, so I probably burned the extra calories, but still. FOOLISH MOVE. I know better.

OK Laurie: But since when do you roll in the mud? Do you find that it improves your skin complexion? Is there something you would like to confess?

My planned day didn't quite happen! I still have half the curry/veggie soup for today... and ended up grabbing a big mac at a well known franchise location down the road

(OK: I didn't say it was an earth shattering confession!)

Ha! Ya're looking good! What's with the "friendly brand" of pup on the "cut finger" lead?

OH THAT KIND OF MUD! I *WILL* tell you free of charge! Thump, Bounce, Ouch, suck wrist, crap bum needs washing is a HECK OF A LOT less "after-effecty" at "normal" than "obese" weight!

    Ask me how I know!

I was 2 for 2 for "sitting down with a thump" yesterday. Beautiful day. But still extra slippery from the rain!

No lasting damage! Dunking wrist in freezing stream was probably quite helpful

    I sense a theme yesterday! 😎😝

By the way Laurie: glad to see you out there! You're looking happier than the pups even!!!

I'm not sure what you mean… The retractable lead looks really strange in the photograph too - as if there's a lead coming from my hand to the top left corner of the photo. There's actually one lead going from my hand to Reese and one going from Laine to my friend who took the photo

    Now there is reality...

And there is what I "saw" on my phone in the light rain (as opposed to after reading some explanations and looking on my full desktop screen a few minutes ago....)

--- Laurie holding a HUGE stick! Was wondering whether you were going to pole vault or navigate down the slopes in the mud using the stick as a tiller!!!).

---Your pup chewing on a stick and OFF LEAD.

--- A cut-finger retractable lead heading from you to the "other doggie" who pulls hard.

    Now.

I realize that MY vision was not the reality.

    But that's what I saw! :blush::neutral:

A huge stick probably would have been helpful! Next time :)

Yeah but I think my pup's stick is more appropriate than a pole vault .... for puppy walking!!!!!😝😎

You all have made my day! My whoops for today is my first try at baking sourdough bread...! I didn't time it right so...it didn't rise and...it burnt on the bottom.bdmhx4mo2t6b.png

    Just have to try again!

Hey that almost looked like a sort of cheese pie! And.. it's looking more than good enough for me to eat!

More the power to you for baking while cutting calories: the baking would definitely NOT be safe from me!

Oven temperatures can vary a lot, Sancan. Sounds to me like your oven was too hot - thus the burnt bottom and undercooked middle. Try a lower temperature and longer time?

Oh, Yooly, I missed you <3

To be honest, it looks pretty good to me, Sancan. A bit too good even :)

Same old, same old. Skipped my new "routine" breakfast today. Not sure why? Wasn't hungry? Managed to go off the rails t ... despite having made up for the delay ... even once I was comfortably full my hamsters ran amok.

Tomorrow I will not feel like eating in the morning, because of what I ate tonight. But there will be no negotiating. BREAKFAST will be served. and. eaten.

I have the same breakfast everyday and am not terribly fond of it. But it does the job and I don’t have to think about it.

I could be truly happy with only my two or three cups of black coffee. In the distant past that came with a few cigarettes. That was my go to breakfast in my younger days.

My same old breakfast now grants me time until lunch when I can get creative. And I know exactly how many calories are left for the day without foraging mid morning.

I'm semi random. Except for the half pot of coffee. But we knew that! 🀣
