We were under mandatory evacuation orders for Hurricane Milton which came ashore 8 miles from my home. So we evacuated to the East Coast of Florida out of the path.
Unfortunately that was in the 400 miles outer band of the hurricane where they issued over 130 Tornado Warnings and there were 26 actual confirmed tornados........including the one swirling over our head as we drove to West Palm Beach!!! My wife took the left shot. I sped up to over 110 MPH to avoid its flipping our SUV. When we had escape by a mile or so, I took the second shot in my side mirror. Storm Chasers parked on the West side posted a picture about 5 minutes later of the EF1 category tornado that touched down and ran along for 16 miles per NOAA.

Bloody hell and here's me complaining about my guttering being blown off by Storm Ashley. Glad you lived to tell the tale, I hope you're not dealing with a nightmare of an aftermath.0 -
