I’ve been enjoying your photography, @Pupowl. I loved the variety of color in the tree with the crested tit bird and all those beautiful mushrooms!4

@PatriceFitnessPal Thanks! Happy to share the pictures as always. I have been loving all the mushrooms. Somehow every time I go for a walk, new ones are still showing up.3

Good morning Shape Shifters. It was grey and windy and very cold again during my walk. I was not dressed warm enough yet again. I adjusted the walk a little bit because I wanted to avoid the open areas. The wind was really nasty. I am a little difficult with clothes while walking since I get hot so easily and I don't like bulky stuff. But freezing isn't nice either and a body warmer really isn't enough. A while back my mom gave me her old fleece vest so I will wear that one when I leave in a little bit and see if that feels better to walk in.
Tinus was sick twice after eating which wasn't fun. Hopefully it was just a fluke. Didn't seem like a hairball issue, but I gave him some extra of the laxasan anyway. I played some cat TV for him and he had fun smacking away at the computer screen for a bit.
I was supposed to get the new fitness tracker yesterday, but the package is delayed so I have to wait a few more days. Fitbit is still going, though the screen is not readable anymore except for when I am in bed in the dark. It is annoying, but as long as it works, I can live with it a little longer. Happy Wednesday everyone

Traveling for work so the next two days are spent sitting in a conference room all day and mandatory fun in the evenings. Not much opportunity to get steps. 😞 Have a great day everyone!4 -
I’m posting some photos under the ‘spoiler’ option. This is the rowing course where we raced on Sunday. It’s about a 30-minute drive from my house to this spot on the Occoquan River. I don’t get there as much as I’d like but I’m going today —Since my usual rowing season ended on November 3rd, I’m hoping to use this boathouse for the next few weeks until I leave for Boston.7

Good morning Shape Shifters. It was cold, grey and foggy yet again. The fleece vest was better and I also wore my gloves during the walk, but I was still cold. I was also pretty tired and didn't have a lot of energy so I kept the walk a bit short. I did get to pet a goat though, so that was cool.
I went to the grocery store after for broccoli, potatoes and veggie burgers. I also picked up 2 pieces of vegan apple pie. I have been a little grumpy lately about not being able to eat 'bad' stuff. I am fine when I am home and I am happy with what I eat, but going to the grocery store and seeing all the stuff I 'can't' eat has been kind of pissing me off. So I got apple pie and made it fit in my day by dropping some other snacks. I enjoyed it very much.
I got my new Huawei in the afternoon and made sure it was all set up and fully charged. I wasn't sure if it would be better to switch before bed or in the morning, but I guess it doesn't matter so I put it on yesterday evening when most of my stepping was done. I will let you all know how I like it after a few days. The app seems pretty nice with lots of options to track things and I like that you can change the screen on your watch, very cute. Hopefully my numbers won't be very different from the Fitbit. I wasn't in the mood at all, but I got my gym rings workout done before cooking dinner. Happy Thursday everyone4 -

@pupowl and @jessicakrall8 - Can I please move from the ‘active’ Shape Shifter group to the ‘support’ list?
There are some other priorities that require more of my time and focused attention right now.
Thank you for understanding.
P.S. — Thank you for your note of encouragement @CasandraW. I’ll be fine. I hope your finger is healing well, too! ❤️🩹3 -

Good morning Shape Shifters. Another depressingly grey day, though not as cold. I had a long walk but there wasn't much to see. I am loving my watch, already like it better than my Fitbit. The app is really nice and you can do sooo much with your tracker it is crazy. Especially for only 40 euros! I did have to manually start the walk which I didn't know, so going to have to test that today. The only thing it sucks at is sleep stages. I am not too bothered by that since I mainly want to see if I got at least 8 hours of sleep and I don't really care about the rest. I got a really low resting heart rate from the Huawei yesterday. The lowest I ever got with Fitbit was 60, Huawei gave me 57. The heartrate monitor for the Huawei is really good from all the reviews I have seen, so I guess I will trust that number. It may also take a few days to really get all the data going though, we will see. Happy Friday everyone
