    Way behind, so answering some things from a couple weeks ago…

    @Katmary71 – I bought one sampler from Tiesta to start. I liked so many of them, I just trusted them from that point on and bought the tins. Only a couple I wish I hadn’t. No, Sydney is not vegan. She is very lactose intolerant, tho, so she’s not giving Oliver any dairy. She’s fine with me feeding him beans for his protein while he’s at my house. I put some tea drops in my purse and had one while I was visiting Marcus. Kept me under calories! Oh no – so awful that you spilled hot melted butter on you ☹ I hope it heals quickly!

    @micaroo4 – Let us know which teas you get!

    @Cornanda – Gus is adorable in his little Christmas PJs!

    @trooworld – Hugs! I hope you’re healing well. Love your Christmas Shrub! Sucks about the Christmas gifts. One of my coworkers gave me a box of chocolates. I’m debating on whether to remind her I’m vegan, or just re-gift it to someone else. I’m so glad your surgery went so smoothly! And that cross-stitch your friend did is amazing!

    @TeresaW2024 – Sorry about the delay in answering. Did you get a tea infuser yet? I recommend one along this style: https://www.amazon.com/Ohtomber-Strainers-Stainless-Strainer-Infusers/dp/B0CFQW79K8/ref=sr_1_5?adgrpid=1332608660742594&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.qDyDJN74TjoB8XVmJXcOkuhoyqsSPQtcMbh4riU8PoKRpRvbNuNMB3pU4cJzhRQUwPF7vdSJ3o-Tar-ek4XKhZ2n1WFRnicMv3gqjJyS0ANCvs98JrkL8eYUiqpaniWXjq5hA-J4r8WBkw8ySb1bDZc4TopIRW9U_GT_garWdlRX0Rk3EblAs08GJNXK2kYh9ME-s621s0S1io6uMl8APFm7eCm5iC0XjBAOCcjV4APi9-8FlwER4kaqI9cWWSRZGdARx1xm_fXj4MX_bjz_2uwtlhW35R8yK9_bdmRKavwLqHkcClFbjO-HUec5y0byNR6agPTBpPvKIRYaPWT-Bm6l5STmhIVOu2zbj8t6noO7t9RHk7yv8zvITRyiGdlrvri3XHWOqFb5djr7LShv2G-mRtr71aZSUw_CsI48JfoM0Awf8WgBdjc_oTv2bCrI.vmhxDBPdZr0S3AZAH9xVo8abQTsvUnMu55Xp9s_3QgE&dib_tag=se&hvadid=83288112551724&hvbmt=bb&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=102557&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=b&hvtargid=kwd-83288393586460:loc-190&hydadcr=4945_10560549&keywords=best+tea+infusers+for+loose+tea&msclkid=8c2e902595e916bc26a4f74c100cc2bd&qid=1734968807&sr=8-5
    It’s a good one because it can fit into most cups/mugs and gives the tea leaves plenty of space to move around. That is what you want – room for them to move and rehydrate. Easiest way to clean it out is to first knock as much into the trash as possible (or compost) and then use a baby bottle brush to clean out the rest. Let us know what flavors of tea you decide to try!

    @DrewAnna – Awesome job with turning down DQ for the stew and choosing a protein shake while shopping, too! Cute picture of you and sis with Santa! Ope – I see you gave in a couple days later. Sounds like your body wants the good stuff. Hope your tummy is feeling better now.

    @baodell17724 – Glad you were able to get back up and onto the wagon again. It’s tough. We all know.

    @laurelfit57 – I feel your pain with the hearing aids. My mother will not change the filters. Then they get filled with wax (so gross) and she says they’re broken. So frustrating. Poor Ty. She just wants those big dogs to leave her alone ☹

    @bobboyardee – I don’t have any words of wisdom. Just in the same boat as you. Hugs.

    @askewcr – I’m so sorry you’re dealing with the awful knee pain. When is the surgery scheduled?

    Seems like the closer we get to Hunter getting out, the worse her behavior is. I will be so glad when I have the house back to myself. They got a note from the apartment complex guy that they could move in December 27th, so that is the date. This Friday. Of course, I know it’s gonna take a couple days for them to get things moved and set up, but I am so thankful it’s happening. Also will be glad to get my kitchen back to the way it was before she moved in…no junk food. If I want junk, I have to actually get out in the cold and go to a store to get it. Too lazy for that LOLs. Popcorn will be my go-to snack again. I’m up a couple pounds, but that’s because we had our family dinner yesterday. I indulged in 2 pieces of pie (couldn’t choose between cherry or Dutch apple). I will say that I have been pretty depressed the past couple weeks, but that’s no excuse to not weigh in or check in here. You all are supposed to be my go-tos when I’m weak. I appreciate all of you. Next time I am feeling an urge to overeat, I will hop on here first to see if it helps distract me from the food. Oh – and side note: I put some of those Tea Drops in my purse and while visiting my son back on the 12th (it was the all-day appt they had at the NICU), I was craving something sweet, so I had one of those instead of candy. So that’s a win 😊 Here’s my lastest Grammy picture from yesterday. From L to R: Byron, Brayden (no idea what set her off LOLs), Oliver & Sophie.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 - I've tried Passion Berry Jolt👎, Maui Mango 👍, Blueberry Wild Child 👍, Blackberry Bellini 👍, Nutty Almond Cream👍👍👍, and Fireberry👍. Still yet to try Lavender Chamomile and Fruity Paradise. I've ordered some more samples: Merry Cherry, Chocolate Ginger Turmeric, Limeade Livin', and Citrus Detox.

    I dislike the smell of Passion Berry Jolt, but like the flavor. Weird, huh?
    I bought Blackberry Bellini and Fireberry, but according to my tea journal, I haven't tried them yet.
    I'd get Lavender Chamomile, but I already have several from other companies. Let me know if you like their blend :)
    I can't believe I don't have Maui Mango (according to my tea journal). I might have to hop onto my account to see if I bought it or not.

    Enjoy!

    OH NO my post didn't post! Here's yesterday's, I deleted the weigh in info as I don't want anyone who's weighed in since to get annoyed with me.

    SUNDAY'S POST

    @DrewsAnna Sure that's no problem.

    @Lisalisa123 @askewcr @Cornanda Great job top winners!

    @Askewcr Hugs to you, when is your surgery?

    @Cornanda Thank you!

    @trooworld Here's our gal! Love hearing you're doing great! That's the cutest cross stitch!

    Hi friends! I called my insurance's advice nurse when I got up and the blistering looked bad and was sent to the ER, second degree burn and I'm being referred to a burn center. The ER was packed too! I still took my friend for ice cream to celebrate the end of cancer treatment, two other friends came as well and we exchanged gifts. I baked the batch of cookies I injured myself for, you only cook 6 cookies at a time so I got a lot of stuff done around that. Didn't work out today but will tomorrow! Have a great Monday.

    @laurelfit57 Merry Christmas to you and your family! Thank you! I love the photo you look so pretty, the pups did good posing even with your death grip!

    @vegan4lyfe2012 I've been wanting to try Chocolate Ginger Tumeric, that flavor sound awesome do report when you try it! A tea journal is a great idea tell us how you do it I want to join in! That's the cutest photo ever, I love it I can feel your joy! Your babies are all so precious and adorable! I almost got that tea infuser I ended up going with a large one that screws on, it's working better than my big ball that never stays together. I'm so glad the move is about to take place I'm glad it's only a few days away. Will you continue to babysit a lot for her? Great job on using those tea drops!

    @askewcr Wow it's almost here, I know that wait for surgery tends to be challenging. I'm sending lots of prayers your way for a fast recovery!

    @trooworld I'm glad you're at home how are you feeling? I hadn't thought of it but this is probably a tough week to get the doctor to call back. I hope he's on top of returning calls!

    @TeresaW2024 I'd love to read The Craving Cure with you! Happy Christmas Eve Eve back atcha! Have a wonderful time with your bestie I'm sure she'll love her shirt.

    Hi friends! Long day I ran to Starbucks to get a gift for my Mom's friends that come on Christmas Eve. The woman I work for texted me to come borrow some micro current stuff to use on my wound then we met later for a late lunch at a beautiful restaurant, we had lettuce wraps and I had ahi tuna salad and we had espresso martinis. I just wore jeans and a sweatshirt from Costco and she was decked out so I felt a little frumpy. She wanted to treat me to a nice lunch and gave me a few gifts, I had a great time. I haven't worked out the last two days, I'll get back to it tomorrow but am a little concerned with holding weights and the blistering. My arm/hand's stinging but overall it hasn't been too bad especially compared to how it looks. My brother's dog is getting crazy excited when she sniffs my bandage which is creepy! We go to my folk's tomorrow with the luminaries and I'll be spending the night. Have a wonderful Christmas my friends!

    @vegan4lyfe2012 - you look terrific in a pile of adorable babies! I'm glad the move in date is close, I think you'll feel much better when your house is peaceful again. BTW- have you ever posted a pic of Kismet? I think you need to do that next month.

    @askewcr - Hope all goes well with the surgery. Will be thinking of you.

    @laurelfit57 - what a cute picture! Merry Christmas to you!

    @trooworld - I'm glad you are comfy at home and doing well.

    @katmary71- Oh no, a burn center! I'm glad it's not too painful and I hope it heals quickly.

    @micaroo4 - what a cute Christmas message

    @TeresaW2024 - Take your crockpot and go home like the other old people..... you're too funny. It's good for others to do things. Church is a family.

    I am working today, but my manager said I only have to work 6 hours. Yay! I have a few food things to finish and a tiny bit of cleaning. We are not doing much tonight. DS will be over tomorrow.

    Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! If you are sad or lonely at this time of the year, I wish you peace and comfort.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 Thank you, I am! That's too bad about the chocolates. Thank you! Just 3 more days...hang in there. I'm sorry you've been struggling. Yes, come on here, there is always someone to give you support! Yay for the win! That's an adorable picture. There's always one that's a crier lol.

    @Jactop Congrats on the loss!

    @laurelfit57 I LOVE this picture! Ty does look a bit scared lol. Merry Christmas!

    @Katmary71 That sucks lol. Thank you! I'm glad you went to the ER. That sounds fun, you and your friends. I'm feeling pretty good. Just a little pain still in the shoulder. I was able to get all my questions answered yesterday via a medical assistant. Ooh that lunch sounds fabulous! Just right up my alley lol. You arm/hand must be so painful. I think dogs can sense when we are ill. Violet has been beside me the whole time I've been home.

    @micaroo4 Happy Christmas Eve to you as well!

    @Cornanda Thank you! Oh that's good you can cut out early. Merry Christmas!

    Hi all. I think the shoulder pain is marginally better today. I think I will try to put yoga pants on today, I've been in a nightshirt since Saturday. I've been on clear liquids since the surgery but today, I get to go back on the diet that allows protein shakes, pureed soups, and cream of wheat and oatmeal. I've been eating very low calories (125 cals a day) because I can't get enough in at this point (just bone broth and jello, really). I think I'll feel more energetic now that I can have protein shakes.

    @trooworld I didn’t know you were at home. You sound like you are doing OK and that is awesome! Are you still on a liquid diet?

    @vegan4lyfe2012 I hadn’t bought an infuser yet, so thanks for the link. I put it in my cart! I need also to get some tea. I probably will go with a spice flavor. :) I know you can’t wait to have your home back, and what a wonderful Christmas gift knowing you will go into the New Year able to work your getting healthy plan in peace. Look at those babies!!! <3

    @Laurelfit57 Merry Christmas to you, Ty, and Vannie! What a precious picture, and only you know the drama that could happen in your arms. :D

    @Katmary71 Yikes on your burn! Has the pain calmed down? OK, I will order the book. Let’s start reading it in the new year. Maybe you should post a link to the book and do another post to see if anyone wants to join. :)

    @Cornanda Church is like a family, and I’ve been like the mama, thinking I had to do it all for way too long. No more!! :D I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! <3

    Happy Christmas Eve!! :) I had a lovely lunch with my girlfriend yesterday, and we loved our gifts. Then I came home and did something sooooo crazy!! My sister decided to take down her Christmas decorations in her bedroom and bathroom so she could relax. Next week will be crazy for her. I said that I had a busy week coming up too, so we cracked open some beers and busted butt and took all the decorations down. My house looks naked, and I LOVE it! The interesting thing was how happy Joe was that it was down. He said that he didn’t want to say anything but all the decorations were really bothering him. So, another good reason to have the house back to its minimalist order. Today, we have church and then chicken and dumplings for dinner. Have a wonderful day! :)

    Honestly, I'm mostly looking forward to it being over, so life can return to ordinary, mundane, routine.

    It's snowing right now. If we get an inch, we might be able to call it a White Christmas. It's pretty, but it disrupts everyday life. I'm supposed to go to my friend's house at noon, so I hope it stops before then.

    My little laptop, with 28+ years of financial data, just died. I haven't been able to backup the data for at least 13 years. I knew it was dying, especially after I dropped it in June. Now it's done. I'm sure I can find all the info for my 2024 taxes from other sources, but I mourn the lost data. A lot of history. Sniff!

    Merry Christmas Eve ♥ I hope everybody has a good time tomorrow with family and friends. It's just my husband and myself; we will enjoy a Christmas fire while we open our gifts. I can't wait I love opening presents. I rode my Trike today, and then I managed to get most of the stuff on my list done, I had to bathe a Cat she's too fat and can't clean herself properly. I've got her on a low food diet, but she does not move around that much she prefers to spend time in her box. It's kind of funny I roll her up in a towel, works well.

    I want to eat Cake!! I bought my husband this yummy cake at Sam's Club yesterday and he says it's really good, I love Cake. I think I will just eat a small bite to get the craving out of the way.

    Christmas Blessings♥

    @TeresaW2024 Oh yes, I didn't end up going to my MIL's afterall, there was a mix up and she thought she would leave me there by myself for 3-4 days and she would go to LA. I said that's okay, I wanted to be at home anyway and it's been fine. I am still on a liquid diet but yesterday, I moved to the same diet as pre-surgery (liquids, protein shakes, cream of wheat, pureed soups, oatmeal). I couldn't have anything but clear liquids the first few days. I'm so glad you had fun with your BFF and she loved her gift. Wow, taking down Christmas decorations before Christmas lol, you are crazy!!!! But that's good you love it. Aww, poor Joe wanted to make you happy by keeping quiet.

    DISCUSSION QUESTION: What are you looking forward to most on Christmas day?
    Going to the movies and spending time with family.

    Hi all. The shoulder pain is definitely better today (although still there some). I got out of the house yesterday: my husband got off early so we went to a coffee shop. It was nice to sit and read. Then we went to our favorite used book store and I got a couple of books. Not that I needed more lol. Today, we are going to the movies to see the new Nosferatu movie. I hope it lives up to my expectations. I love the old black-and-white version and consider that perfection, so we'll see. Merry Christmas to all!
