Hi everyone! Not sure who to reach out to if I haven't been assigned to a team yet? I posted a few days ago in the Any Team thread.

Good Morning VIP friends:
I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Tuesday and it is going to be a wonderful day. I have been having some symptoms where when I stand up I am getting dizzy and well found out when I stand up my blood pressure is low. 104/79. We checked it this morning with my husband's machine. I am going to have to monitor it and then check in with my doctor. It is always something new here. Although I was told that at some point I may have an issue since I am on a blood pressure medication for edema. That it may eventually be too much. So we may be to that point now.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - That is hilarious. I am sure the guys were not expecting that nor doing well afterwards. My son went to my daughter's party she had for her husband's family and their friends there where they live. He had a blast. They wrapped a watermelon to the guys bellies and the guys had to do every day things that pregnant women struggle with like getting up from sitting, sitting from standing, putting on their shoes and several other things. It was great.
@GlitteriestWarriorQueen - We are still on break right now so I am sure you will receive something soon. Keep checking the groups section for your invite.
Well I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday

@GlitteriestWarriorQueen - Teams are in the process of being assigned now, and team leaders are expecting to get their rosters sometime tomorrow, and they will then send invitations out in the next few days depending on their schedules. Those who sign up on Any Team are the last to get placed because they fill in the gaps in balancing the teams so we have as close to the same number of members on each team as possible. You should definitely hear something in the next few days. Watch your "My Groups" for an invitation.

APRIL FOOLS' DAY
April Fools' Day on April 1st has long been a day when practical jokes and tricks are played on the unaware. It's a time when children convince their parents they've broken a bone. Parents get in on the planning, too. Classic April Fools' jokes include caramel covered onions or fake doggy doo-doo in inconvenient places. Businesses launch impractical or unbelievable products for the fun of the day and newspapers print incredible headlines catching readers off guard.
#AprilFoolsDay
Of course, the trick to a good April Fools' prank is planning. And you also need to be the first to pull it off. There's no point in pursuing your prank if someone else beats you to it. Once the foolery has been triggered, everyone else will be on high alert and the element of surprise will be lost.
Some practical jokers go to great lengths to pull off their ruse. The more people involved the greater the risk of being discovered before the great plan can be deployed.
HOW TO OBSERVE APRIL FOOLS' DAY
Prepare your best pranks and practical jokes.
Share stories of your greatest April Fools' jokes.
Be safe playing your pranks and be sure to have a good laugh. It's all in fun.
Share your experiences being fooled and laugh while you reminisce.
Use #AprilFoolsDay to post on social media.
APRIL FOOLS' DAY HISTORY
We would be fools to think we knew precisely when April Fools' Day was originally celebrated. However, April Fools Day shares similarities with other days full of fools, tricks, and merry-making.
Some believe the day is celebrated in honor of the trickery Mother Nature plays on us this time of year with her unpredictable weather. Another possible connection is the Indian tradition of Holi. The day is celebrated on March 31st and practices the same foolery as April Fools' Day. So does the Roman festival of Hilaria which was celebrated on March 25th.
The earliest known reference to April Fools' Day is in Chaucer's 1392 Nun's Priest's Tale. Even so, the reference is so vague, and possibly not even occurring on the first of April, leaving doubt as to whether it is the first reference.
Other scholars point to the reformation of the calendar by Pope Gregory and the Gregorian calendar we used today in the 1500s in France. The new year would take place in April, not January as it does now. The theory is that those who continued to celebrate the new year on April 1st were called Poisson d'Avril (April fish) and pranks would be played on them.
In 1582, France accepted the Gregorian calendar, but reforms had already been taking place.
In Britain in 1776, there is a clear and reliable reference to April foolishness in an article in Gentlemans Magazine. Reference to a custom in the kingdom of making fools of people on the first day of April. It addresses the day being the culmination of an eight-day feast and the beginning of a new year.
Noted Foolery
Newspapers, television, radio, and social media have had their fun on April Fools' Day. Check out all this April 1 foolishness:
Times of London reported in 1992 that Belgium was negotiating to join Holland.
The Evening Star of Islington advertised in 1864 a display of donkeys at the Agricultural Hall the next day. Those who arrived early soon realized who the donkeys on display really were.
In 1950, The Progress in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, published a picture of a UFO flying over the town. Claiming to have "scooped" larger publications of the first-ever published picture of a real flying saucer.
In 2008, the BBC presented a documentary on flying penguins.
April Fool's FAQ
Q. Is April Fool's Day always on April 1st?A. Yes. If your friends, coworkers and the news seems especially goofy on April 1st, this is why.
Q. Can anyone participate in April Fool's Day?A. Yes. Silliness and practical joking are for everyone. It's important not to pull a prank that might be dangerous. Some fun and harmless ways to celebrate include:
Slipping a rubber snake, worm, mouse, or other creature into food.
Leaving a fake mess for someone to find like plastic puppy droppings or spilled milk.
Switch the labels on a few cans of vegetables.
Pour gravy over ice cream. Add sprinkles for an authentic look.
Stick a sign on your friend's back that says, "Wish me a happy birthday!"
Call the local radio station and wish your little sister "Happy 50th Birthday" ten years early.
Post on social media that you're moving to a foreign country.

@nossmf oh yeah that happens easily. Glad you are willing to accommodate your lovely wife. I adore potatoes also. I love in Maine the upper half grows many things including russet potatoes. That's what we usually had growing up. In the days of cover everything with gross margarine. Lol I refuse to buy margarine! But I do like butter.

@Tabatha_Cain It sounds like you may be dehydrated, do you drink at least 64 ozs of water daily? I used to think soda helped with thirstiness, but now realize NO it does MAKE me thirsty. I had no clue! But now that I drink so much water, I DO! Your systolic number shows that's a possibility. That's easy to try, not drinking enough water will also tighten up our muscles. Hence the fibro may be more active. HAHAHAHA the watermelon is a GREAT IDEA!!! LOL I wish we had thought of that!! That's so funny!!! TY for the idea!
@GlitteriestWarriorQueen ask us any questions as you wish. As you saw many of us are very happy to help answer them. TY TY TY TY @Tabatha_Cain @DNjoys They are both outstanding leaders on their teams.
@lavalily SO Awesome to see you!! You are very inspirational! TY TY TY0 -
Good Morning VIP friends:
I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Wednesday and it is going to be a great day. I only have a couple more days before the baby shower. We are having that on Saturday. I am so darn excited. I have bought a ton of baby items for the baby as my gift. My daughter said I did not have to do that, but I cannot wait to be a grandma. I have so many things that I want to do with the baby, but I do know that my daughter may not let me take the baby right away. Most new mother's don't want anyone taking their baby anywhere.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Thank you. I am going to try and drink more water. However I have an aversion for water. I really hate my autism sometimes. Those food aversions are so bad sometimes. Water makes me nauseous. Drinking it sometimes makes me gag. All in my head, but not something I can control.
Well I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

NATIONAL RECONCILIATION DAY
National Reconciliation Day on April 2nd each year urges us to repair relationships we have damaged through words or actions. While many different “Days of Reconciliation” are held worldwide, this specific observance takes place on April 2nd.
#NationalReconciliationDay
We all know of a relationship where a misunderstanding caused friction. Eventually, or suddenly the relationship was destroyed. Time passes, and before long, years pass, and not two words have been spoken between the two people. They may be siblings or parent and child. Childhood friendships dissolve in an instant over angry words. Friends often immediately regret the cause of the quarrel but don't know how to start over.
This day aims to patch up relationships. Misunderstandings, unintended words or actions, and simply an unforgiven mistake can tear apart relationships. Over time, feelings of resentment, bitterness, and anger cause more than the loss of friendship. These feelings add to health problems and also infect other relationships in our lives.
The act of reconciliation requires some giving to achieve a peaceful balance. Someone must make the first move to break down the barriers that have been built. And while forgiveness may be a part of the conversation, it isn't necessarily a requirement.
HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONALRECONCILIATION DAY
Take that step and make amends.
It's not too late. Reach out to that friend or loved one and make a fresh start.
Accept the olive branch when it is offered.
Share your experiences of reconciliation.
Use #ReconciliationDay to post on social media.
NATIONAL RECONCILIATION DAY HISTORY
Our research has found several references to Reconciliation Day throughout the year. However, many give credit to newspaper columnist Ann Landers, who in 1989, in response to one of her reader's letters, began annually promoting April 2nd as Reconciliation Day. She encouraged her readers to repair their broken relationships and dedicated each April 2nd column to letters concerning just such relationships.
Reconciliation FAQ
Q. How does one reconcile with another?
A. It may not seem like an easy task. Fear and bitterness often prevent us from taking the necessary steps. One of the best ways can be by sending an invitation for coffee. Choose a neutral place to talk. Sometimes it takes an apology but don't expect one. It's more important to try to repair the relationship than to dredge up history.Q. What gets in the way of reconciliation?
A. There are many reasons why reconciliation fails. Some of them include:Pride
Lack of forgiveness
Lack of perspective
Resentment
Living in the past

Pre-Challenge Activity #5 is a great one! I've been putting my gym time on my calendar for many years. Not only is it a great reminder, but when someone asks me to go for coffee or lunch, I always check my calendar to make sure I'm available. It's too easy to make a date with someone and ignore the "call of the gym!" That doesn't mean I honor that every single time, but it is certainly a reminder that I have an appointment for my health. Then, if I want to go out with a friend AND go to the gym, I can arrange to do both - and this happens more often than not! But if it's not on my calendar, I will likely just have lunch and ignore the gym entirely.

@Tabatha_Cain Aww the baby shower will be fun. I love being Grandma!! Its so much super fun!! Yeah, when Roman was born I could not get him alone for 8 LONG WEEKS!! Hehehehehe I can easily understand that!! Only at that point because his Mom needed to go a Dr's appointment and his Dad worked nights slept nights. SO I GOT TO HAVE HIM!! When she went back to work I got to have him MORE!! WOOHOO!!! About 6 months in his father insisted he needed more sleep (not the baby! LOL) so his other grandmother and I would go up. She didn't do much at all, actually, she was MORE WORK than he was!! Awww I adore babies and people. Teens are my FAVORITE age!! LOL so moody as grown up 2 year olds.
@macrat12 To bad not all live by the forgive and go on in life. Later today I am hoping to approach a friend I upset, and I take full blame for it. I wasn't feeling well, she was being kind, but I couldn't explain to her what was going on (we were in a big crowd) that's never the time or place. But today is good!
@Patti241 Nice job all of that is never easy. So sorry you have to do this.0 -
This is the challenge I am up against today. We are in level 5, 5 being the top level for tornadoes and we are smack dab in the middle. We are praying for none of this to happen today. This was put out by our Sheriff this morning. He said our chances for devasting thunderstorms have changed and we are in a higher level to expect tornadoes.

Ya'll pray for us. This could be a very bad day. We are located about where the pink 5 is.

@lauren_989 - Invitations have been sent for most teams now. There are 2 teams that haven't posted on the leader team that invitations have been sent, but that doesn't mean they haven't. Yours is one of them though, so give them a bit more time. They should be out today or tomorrow. If you don't have one by tomorrow afternoon, I'd check in again.

Good Morning VIP friends:
I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Thursday and normally I would have today off, but today I work so that I can have Saturday off. I work 10 to 7 today which is different than my normal schedule. So I do get to relax a bit more today than normal. That will be awesome. I am looking forward to that. The baby shower is going to be great. Here is one of the games we are playing.
It is called My Water Broke. You have to be the first to melt your baby out of the ice. You then yell my water broke and you get a prize. This was the prep to get them frozen. So I have them all frozen. I am thinking of getting more babies because I don't have that many and I want to make sure I have enough. We have other games I printed off as well. Definitely something we need to keep track of. I want to make sure we get them to the shower. I am so worried things will not work out right. I want it to be nice for her.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - We are definitely excited for the new baby. I honestly cannot wait. I am wondering what they will do though when both parents go back to work. I live an hour away. I could not do daily babysitting, but I would be willing to come up on Thursdays my day off and take the baby for a bit so my daughter can relax at home after work.
@Grannysue91 - Hope you were safe with the storms.
Well I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday

NATIONAL FILM SCORE DAY
On April 3rd, National Film Score Day recognizes the musical masterpieces called "Film Scores" and, more specifically, the very talented composers who create them.
#NationalFilmScoreDay
As the opening scenes of a long-anticipated movie begin flickering across the screen, a rising cadence undulates through the theater setting the mood. A musical note plays, then two. Soon the theater fills with a beautifully layered orchestral music masterwork. This musical accompaniment to the film you are watching is called the "Film Score."
Imagine your favorite film without a few well-placed notes enhancing the emotion of a dramatic on-screen exchange. Or a chase scene without rousing orchestral music elevating the intensity. Would Star Wars, Jaws, The Lord of the Rings films, or the Harry Potter films be the same without their complementary musical scores? Without the film score, would we cower so easily in fear from our seats? Would our imaginations so eagerly suspend from reality? Music heightens emotions. It also sharpens our senses and focuses our attention. Without a doubt, the film score is the fiery soul of a film.
CELEBRATE NATIONAL FILM SCORE DAY
Share your most memorable film score moments. Is it John Williams' sweeping film scores for Star Wars and Harry Potter? Jerry Goldsmith's music for Rudy, Alien, Hoosiers, or Star Trek? James Horner's score for Titanic or Field of Dreams?
Listen to your favorite film scores.
Learn the backgrounds of great film score composers.
Follow Movie Score Radio on Twitter and Facebook.
Use #NationalFilmScoreDay to share your fond movie music memories on social media.
You can also check out these 7 Most Memorable Film Scores in Filmdom for more movie mania. Which ones would you add?
NATIONAL FILM SCORE DAY HISTORY
Jeffrey D. Kern founded National Film Score Day to celebrate and highlight the talented composers' tireless achievements. The day also honors their treasured musical masterworks that bring so much joy to moviegoers around the globe!
On April 3, 1942, United Artists released Alexander Korda's film The Jungle Book. The legendary composer, Miklós Rózsa, created the orchestral score. The following year, they published a recording made directly from the soundtrack in its entirety on a 78-RPM record album with Sabu's narration, the film's star. The Jungle Book soundtrack became the first commercial recording of a non-musical U.S. film's orchestral score ever to be released. The album experienced phenomenal success.
The Registrar at National Day Calendar® proclaimed National Film Score Day to be observed annually beginning in 2018!
Film Score FAQ
What's the difference between a film score and a soundtrack? Traditionally, film scores have been instrumental music performed by an orchestra. They enhance the mood for a scene, accompany a specific character and even set the tone for the entire movie. Film scores open and close a movie, too. The soundtrack is a collection of recorded songs selected to accompany specific scenes or moments in the film. They may be already existing songs or original songs composed specifically for the film. The soundtrack also includes the film score.
Do documentaries include film scores? Many documentaries include film scores as part of their final piece. Just like the film score for your favorite thriller enhances the emotion and intensity of the movie, a documentary film score helps shape the mood and tone of the scenes playing out on the screen.

@Tabatha_Cain Oh my goodness GF lololol that game, "My Water Broke"! That's a scream! I wish I had known about that one. Awww you'll be a wonderful grandmother! Lol hold that baby ,, there are no words to describe the feeling. You'll know soon! I think I told you when my GD 1st son was born hehehe as looks at him, to me, back to him telling him "I'm sorry this is your grandmother. You'll understand someday why I said this." Of course, we were laughing so hard "Just give him to me! Hi Bud awww". I'll never forget that and more than I do her birth.
I hope work went well.
@Patti241 do you have anyone helping you with what to do? It's so hard not just knowing what to do, but also the emotional aspect, our heart hurting etc. We aren't robots. Hugs

NATIONAL SCHOOL LIBRARIAN DAY
On April 4th each year, National School Librarian Day recognizes the professionals who keep the school library in working order. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also dedicated to helping our children find the resources they need to keep learning. School librarians are the people who create an environment where students can learn every day of the year. Their work is an impressive accomplishment.
#NationalSchoolLibrarianDay
The school librarians provide guidance and expose our youth not only to texts, print media, and literature but to digital resources and technology, too. These resources also connect them to libraries around the world. A school librarian's ability to manage scores of media and a school full of students with numerous projects and schedules astounds us.
HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL SCHOOL LIBRARIAN DAY
Remember the school librarian on this day. Take a little gift or a card and tell them “Thank You!"
We've created a postcard just for the occasion. Download and print it on cardstock. Make sure your printer settings are set to print on both sides of the paper. The cards are 5.5 x 4.25 inches. Then color and mail the postcard to your librarian and let them know how much you appreciate them.
Share your experiences as a school librarian.
Learn more about the history of libraries and those who work in them.
Use #SchoolLibrarianDay to post on social media.
NATIONAL SCHOOL LIBRARIAN DAY HISTORY
National Day Calendar continues to research the origins of this school holiday. However, librarians and school librarians have been celebrated for decades. School districts or individual schools often launched celebrations recognizing their librarians. These celebrations took place at different times throughout the school year. It wasn't until more recent decades that the practice took place during Library Week or other reading-related celebrations.
