It's early in the day, and I hope to have more, but I actually remembered to take my meds right away!

I've started new workout challenges and added indoor biking to my routine this week. I'm feeling much stronger than I did 6 weeks ago.2

I cut out sugar and fast food and had great success this week! I have kept up with basic self care routine and it has been easier without those binges bogging me down.1

NSV - I kept up with my 30-ish yo partner today in Bootcamp class at the gym.1

A couple years ago, hurt my back doing deadlifts in the gym, haven't touched them since. Today, I tried them again, working my way up to my pre-injury weight without any discomfort in my back.1

I focused on Nutrition and tried new things, despite having a mental aversion to it. I was brave, I challenged my old preconceived Nutritional notions and broke through.0

My secretary asked me what I was doing to lose weight the other day!1

Non-Scale Victories: Walking without foot pain and noticing my shoes feeling looser—small but meaningful signs of progress!0

I have to be careful with exercise because if I overdo, I flare up pain that can take days (or months) to fade, so when pain kicks in, I back off (also per doc). I recently discovered though that exercising to music can help me increase reps with less pain than without music.
I've been wanting to increase some arm exercises from 3 reps to 5, but because of pain usually stop at 3 and have been frustrated that I'm not able to build up on this one. But when I was doing them to music, I found that not only could I do 5, but often I can do 10 with less pain that I do 3 without music. I tried it with my marching exercise for my bum leg and found the same thing. Instead of 8-10 reps, I was able to do 15.
I know music can make the time go faster and the task more enjoyable, but I didn't realize it could also distract enough from the pain that I could actually do more reps.0 -
