I’m surprised my weight is going down. Or at least I think it is lol. My steps over the weekend were not good. Saturday my granddaughter had her final cheer competition of the season so we sat a lot and then when I got home I took a nap. We had to be there so early. When I go to put Sunday in next week I only have a few steps if any. I forgot to put my watch on. I have been so tired lately and not motivated to do anything. I am in so much pain but I think this weekend I am going to have my husband pull out my treadmill and I am going to try to walk a little. Or maybe look up some yoga on YouTube because I’m not liking my piyo ones. W leave for vacation in 2 weeks and I’m not really going to be able to do much because of the pain. I’m hoping to work through it. I usually have a high tolerance for pain but not recently.

Okay steps team! Working on getting the steps post going for the first week of April and I found some missing numbers…

@blessedgrandma5 I only have March 30, nothing for the rest of the week.

@cedarfoxy I have April 1-5 but nothing for March 30-31

    @purple1butterfly I have March 30-April 1 but nothing for April 2-5

    @lujainhoban I am missing April 5.

More for new step challengers—we're super happy to walk with you! Step Challenge is tracked Sun-Sat and to participate, steps should be posted by the Wed following the werk's end. I'm lazy and frequently don't get to the post until Saturday but if I'm out, Aahley will not wait for you and will post on Wednesday. If steps are missing, I will post what I've got…

Hi! I need to drop out. I’m just not in the headspace right now to tack. I’m trying to make healthy choices but can’t make that my main focus at the moment. Thank you for your past support & understanding.

    Weigh in day Saturday

    Previous weight 184.7 lbs

    Current weight 183.2 lbs

It is finally going down! I am now on holidays for 2 weeks, with my parents visiting the second week but I really hope I can stay on track. On the non scale victory side, I have started running more often the past couple of months and doing weights videos and my legs are more toned

I had a horrible pressure headache with neck and shoulder tendon, so I really want able to do much. I've never had an all day headache like that. I took strong painkillers in the evening and used my massager, which helped a lot. I ended up sleeping for 12 hours last night and feel much better today. I've been massaging out the knots and hope it helps.

I've also been watching Wonder Woman - I wish I could be wonderful! 😆

Yay, I finished the week strong! A wt gain from Fri. Night’s Intern’l taste testing didn’t define my week. This weekend I was motivated to get back on track, so I drank more water and walked/exercised more. I’m so happy that I didn’t settle for a gain this week, but worked for the beautiful 1 pound loss! 🥳
New veggies this week- lettuce, cucumbers, and mushrooms.

    CW (Current Weight): 218.2

I didn't stick to my diary goals perfectly, but I did start using it again! Which is a positive in my book. I'm going to keep at it, and hope for another good loss next week. Well, at this point in time, I'll take any kind of loss! 😀

    Day: Tuesdays

    PW: 186.0 (4/8/25)

    CW: 185.4 (4/15/25)

Yay mid-day post instead of right before bed!

After seeing a shift in my trend line, I feel like I'm wanting to do more in pursuit of making a shift in my numbers. I am also aware that I will be away from home at a conference leaving Friday and not back until Monday. Eating in a different environment does tend to affect my weight. I plan to maintain this week as well, and have another mini-shift next week.

    • Track food - not tracking, but I am planning food more than I have been. I'd like to do that more this week. (B-)
    • Weigh in daily - when I have access to my scale (A+)
    • Steps -
      • MISSED STEPS: 3/30 = 4687; 3/31 = 13851 (10k for average)
      • 4/8 = 2750
      • 4/9 = 12251 (10k for average) run day
      • 4/10 = 3522
      • 4/11 = 6079
      • 4/12 = 4100
      • 4/13 = 19728 (10k for average) - marathon relay day
      • 4/14 = 8205
      • Not counting steps over 10k, I have an average of 6379 steps per day this past week and I met my step goal of 6000 steps 4 times this week. Yay! (A-)
    • Self care - I discovered a meditation activity in my Garmin and now I can easily track it! Any Garmin users out there? Friend me! I also journaled 4 times this week - Go me! (A)
    • OVERALL - (A-)

This was a pretty great week!

From last week, I wanted to complete a couple of tasks:

Update MFP calorie goal to be aligned with my base calorie needs (and re-read the article that tells me what it is and how to calculate it) - didn't do this, and I am going to keep it on the list for next week CARRY OVER

Run at least twice: I'm thinking tomorrow and Sunday (I'm taking part in a marathon relay) - DONE!

    Goals this week:

Update MFP calorie goal to be aligned with my base calorie needs (and re-read the article that tells me what it is and how to calculate it)

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/931670/bmr-and-tdee-explained-for-those-needing-a-guide/p1

Run 2+ times (Wed & Sun); Erg 1+ time; Walk 1+ time

    cedarfoxy Posts: 83 Member

I read the article and figured out that my BMR is around 1587 right now, which makes my target calories about 1750/day. Not ready to do that quite yet, but I will keep that in mind as I make these small shifts. :)
