Weigh-in Day: Friday (June 20, 2025)

CW: 242.8Not a good week for exercise but I did resist going back for seconds at dinner on multiple occasions and I think that's what the difference.

Two weeks ago I was 186.0, then after weighing in the 185s all the next week, I bounced up last Friday to 186.8. Now I'm back down and coming in at 184.7 (which I am really excited about since it feels closer to the 170s than the 190s and it has been years since I could say that!). I think I just needs to remember that there are always some fluxuations and I need to be happy that, overall, there is a downward trend.
I do want to thank this group. I think about the fact that I am going to have to tell you each Friday where I am at, and this really helps keep me on track!

We ate the fresh zuchini with dinner tonight and it was delicious! My tomatoes blew over in a storm last night, so I hope they are ok and didn't get damaged.

Today we celebrated hubby's birthday with his family and tomorrow is his actual birthday. I tried to not go overboard eating today, and I think I did a good job! He wants to go to a hibachi japanese place tomorrow night, so I plan to have leftovers 😊

Good morning fellow downsizers! Had to cut our morning walk short today, we, in the Midwest, are experiencing quite a heat wave at the moment. When it hit 88 F we thought it best to turn back around, maybe we can get back out later today. 🤷🏻♂️

Whew! I'm exhausted and ready for the weekend. This has been a long week at work, my car started rattling and it smells awful inside from who know's what, and I only slept 4 hours last night because thunderstorms woke me up and then I couldn't fall back asleep for 3 hours. Good thing is, I ate decent overall today! All the above tends to make me stress eat, but I held it together!
