@frankwbrown I'm on vacation for the next two weeks at our lake house and I'm not using my Hume scale, but an old one we have up here. Not sure how accurate this one is, but here it is. To be honest, I thought it would have been more. Walking in this heat has me blown up like a balloon! I even had to take my rings off!

CW: 144.2Whelp. A gain of 1 pound. On the plus side, my weight was much higher earlier in the week, so at least it came down from that. The last few days have been fairly good and showed some semblance of being on track. Before that...not so much.
My boys are spending the weekend with my mom again so I'm planning to spend some time getting my behind in gear. Break the no gym streak I've settled into for some reason. Meal plan and prep, including prepping veggies for quick salads and making a healthy soup, maybe cook some chicken. Start getting in the habit of tracking food again.
I've been floundering for much too long. I know I said I'm getting back on track several times now, but it's time to actually do it. Hoping to see some progress with next week's weigh in.

CW 191.5Back in town after a visit with family at the lake. Thrilled that I maintained for two weeks! The half pound was from yesterday- I had dental work yesterday and was numb until 6pm. Went out to eat and stuck with soft food-shrimp pasta-but I had gone all day without eating so I overdid it at dinner. Then when I was at the gym this morning, my temporary crown popped off so I had to go back to the dentist again! No anesthesia this morning so that poking around was no fun.
Picture is the view of the lake from our rental. Wish we could have stayed longer!

@jessicakrall8 I think it’s cooler in Miami than some parts of the country right now! I’m playing tennis in the morning. Then headed out to Boca for a sleep-over at my daughter’s 😊. We will probably order in and start watching season 3 of Squid Game together. Goose the cat is back home with her, and I miss him already and need some cat cuddles 🩷. Other than that, Spanish homework needs to be done as well as some reading for my World Literature class. How about you?

I'll definitely be staying cool, but not because of the weather outside. I've finished all my Garmin challenges for June, and today is the 30th day of my 10,000 steps/day for 30 consecutive days challenge. So, it'll be easy-does-it for the next few days, before I jump into a whole new set of July challenges starting next Tuesday.

Ugh, why can't I just drop weight. My diet was over all better this week, but whatever. I tried to workout yesterday but my son called me 5 minutes in to tell me he got done early from drivers ed. I did workout today though. Not working out the next 2 days, my boss called me desperate for someone to work 10pm to 2am the next 2 nights, which isn't bad except I am already scheduled to work at 6am the next day, I told them I would if I could come back at 7 instead so I can get a decent nap in, so anywhere, not getting up to workout, and by the time I'm off its too hot to workout.
I am excited though because my husband was driving home from work and found a free treadmill someone was giving away, they claim it was hardly used, and my treadmill is in rough shape and tried to kill me if I run so it was needed. Cant wait to try it out
