No excuse but it has been a very stressful week at work, getting a bit toxic to be honest. I am hoping it will settle as we are all dreading going to work at the moment. my steps are low for last week. I have been working in home health care and had a woman I would take for a walk almost every day so my steps were good. Last week she had to be put in assisted living so I didnโ€™t get my steps in. They were trying to replace my hours with other people but when I would get up in the morning and get ready to leave my clients would cancel for different reasons. I decided this week Iโ€™m going to get up earlier and get my walk in and if my clients cancel at least I have my walk in. I also decided I canโ€™t have a schedule like that. I do have an interview tomorrow and I am searching for something else in case I donโ€™t get this one. I need something consistent.

    Hello-

Can you please remove me from the team? I will be taking a break from the scale for a while.

I wish everyone a successful journey.

Good morning. Thanks to all those who wish me well on my tests. Some of them were good and some were bad but it encouraged me to keep going. As much as I don't like going to the doctor, it always give me encouragement to keep going.

Wishing everyone a great new week

Not the result I was looking for, but at least I know what's happening - that time of the month, and I was not consistent in my diet either, though I did try. I don't feel great because of it either. I also wasn't drinking enough water. Next week will be better, I will increase fiber, protein, veggies and water intake.

    Steps: Nov 9-15

    S-10213
    M-9831
    T-8867
    W-9603
    T-7115
    F-6567
    S-9660

    Goal: 8000 / Average: 8837

Hit my goal this week which is good. I think my plan is to try and hit my step goal every week for the rest of the month and next month increase to 9000. I don't enjoy walking in the dark as much, now that the sun is setting before 5 pm. I think I'll try to get a short walk in before work and see if that helps.

@dvmmcw7442 Sure, I can remove you, but just so you know that it's an option - we can move you to team support if you want, and you can stay a member here and participate in the chat, but you're not required to weigh in weekly.

Let us know what would be more supportive to you right now.

@jennyell85 - This is always a great reminder, even for those of us who've been at this for a while. It's so easy to forget that weight loss is never as linear as we want it to be.

Thanks Jenny. You're 100% right. I'll have to keep it in mind when I'm pulling my hair out over weight loss.

I weigh myself every morning. I now watch the trend. While I don't like to see a bump higher, who does. I also am starting to see how what I am eating 2 days before affects things. I used to think my daily weight reflected the day before but now I'm seeing that it is more likely a reflection of 2 days before.

Guess who pulled a muscle in her back earlier this week? It's me! Consider this a reminder to always be aware of your form, even when doing something you've done a million times. The dumbest reason to be injured is being cocky.

    D_Jay_74 Posts: 321 Member

@minstrelofsarcasm I'm sorry to hear about your injury. Hope you recover quickly. I have been cocky at times too and had the same results. The one thing I fear the most when I am doing well is having an injury while exercising. It usually takes me out of the game.

@minstrelofsarcasm Oh no! Sorry to hear that. Getting injured is the worst.

Reminder - Step challenge: Please post your steps for the week, if you haven't already. I'll be sending the results out today.
