    Yeah, I'll be working on making it up too. Tomorrow might not be the greatest either. Watching the Walking Dead pretty much demands a few indulgent snacks of some sort.

    Nope, you're not the only one. :laugh: It's so much nicer to just take it in stride though, isn't it? Before, I would always consider an over day, a failure. But it's just an over day. Part of the program. A person can choose to make up for them or not. They don't do much damage in the scheme of things. :drinker:

Part of the program. A person can choose to make up for them or not. They don't do much damage in the scheme of things. :drinker:

    ^^Right that! - It is the "beating self up" mentality that is so pervasive here. The Cauliflower posts really disturb me especially. It feels great to let loose (I log it proudly) and not have to apologize.

    (Although some of my "clean eating friends" here are starting to not interact with me much... I am a "heathen" LOL

    I get that on Facebook, a few of my friends are dieting (as in 'clean' eating and cardio til you drop and Barbie weights with Jillian). So I'll post a link to Armi Legge's Impruvism website about flexible dieting and make a comment like "great article" or something similar and all I get is stony silence. But if I were to post some goofy cauliflower recipe or something about raspberry ketones, I'd have a hundred likes and a dozen shares. Frustrating. :angry:

    It is cool how you track the deficit for the challenge and the deficit for the week. I need to start doing this.

    Thanks to this challenge and your loggings I eat Ice Cream a lot more now and enjoy it!

    Yeah, that's a newly acquired habit for me too. I used to be of the quick fix mentality where one day can make or break it. And of course that's not true. It's like how some people are already worried about the holidays and talking about swapping out cauliflower for mashed potatoes and so on. Makes it more depressing than festive in my opinion.

    And those people claim over and over again that they won't affect anyone else at the holiday gathering.... not so true. That kind of behavior sends out a "vibe" which is like a wet blanket. I know.. I used to be like that! Glad I am "waking up" :drinker:

    Today's Ice Cream: Back to my favourite Breyer's Strawberry Swirl with strawberries and angel food cake plus some skittles, some chips and a cup of hot chocolate.

    Monthly weight loss: 3 maybe 3& 1/2 lbs lost, on point with goals set at start of challenge. Started 180 ended 177.
    Challenge requirement of eating ice cream or reasonable substitute met. Had at least 3 days near maintenance level intake, like today, and another 3 over maintenance. :ohwell:
