Week 15: week of 6 January 2014
Average intake: 2200 kcal per day.
Weight per 11 January : 58.5 kg, - 0.3 kg when compared with last week.
+ 4.5 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.3 kg per week.
I've hit another fase of not being hungry and have terrible trouble to get even my maintenance amount in. last night I made part of it up in beer. If my weight has gone down / stays even at my next weigh-in I'm going to have to up my intake.
Omg, I swear we are appetite twins. The past week or so I've been practically force-feeding during the day:sick:0 -
Appetite the same here! Wondering where in the hell she is! Still great progress!0
-
Right there with you! I ALSO supplemented with beer last night, LOL!:drinker:0

The long promised progress pics!
To be honest I don't see much of a difference between the pictures... But those 4.3 kg have to be somewhere :huh:0 -
Week 16: week of 13 January 2014
Average intake: 2268 kcal per day.
Weight per 18 January : 58.3 kg, - 0.2 kg when compared with last week.
+ 4.3 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.27 kg per week.
My weight has gone down again, so I'm going to have to up my intake. I'll be shooting at a daily intake of 2300-2400 kcal. I'm afraid I'm about to come down with a cold though. Feeling like ****, nauseous all day, the sniffles and sore all over. Think I'll have a hot shower and go to bed early.0 -
Your progress is looking great! Fantastic job so far!!
Hope you feel better soon! :flowerforyou:0 -
Thanx...0

Great progress! Your arms are getting big!!:drinker:
And good luck with the cold!0 -
Great progress and I love the pics!!! You just reminded me that I should probably take some new progress pics too0

Week 17: week of 20 January 2014
Average intake: 2379 kcal per day.
Weight per 26 January : 58.7 kg, + 0.4 kg when compared with last week.
+ 4.7 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.28 kg per week.
Have been sick last week, but managed to get my intake up again in the weekend with the help of lots of beer, chocolate and other goodies. Also, what's up with DOMS? I've been doing this routine for 6 weeks and I still get sore form every single freaking workout.0 -
Hope you're feeling better now! Chocolate cures everything
Since I switched to bar I've been sore all the time, it's only been 3 weeks for me but I kind of hear you (ouch!)0 -

Week 18: week of 27 January 2014
Average intake: 2364 kcal per day.
Current weight unknown, haven't measured because of TOM.
Still going strong although I do start to feel fluffy. I'm now slowly shifting from my size 36 to size 38 clothing. That's European sizing I really enjoy eating this much though, so I'm keeping my end goal of the end of March for this bulk.0 -
Doncha just hate TOM! Sounds like you are making good progress - great work.0

Thank you!0

Week 19: week of 3 February 2014
Average intake: 2310 kcal per day.
Weight per 8 February : 59.4, + 0.7 kg when compared with 2 weeks ago.
+ 5.4 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.28 kg per week.
I'm feeling fat. My clothes don't fit right anymore, I don't have anything to wear to clients, my waist has dissappeared into blubber and my underwear is giving the sausage effect :sad:
I'm giving it 2 more weeks so I can say I've got 5 months of bulking under my belt and then drop down to maintenance for a week or 2. And then it's cutting time.
I know I said I would go for the full 6 months, but I'm just feeling too fat this past week0 -
Week 20: week of 10 February 2014
Average intake: 2460 kcal per day.
Weight per 15 February : 59.9 kg, + 0.5 kg when compared with last week.
+ 5.9 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.3 kg per week.
On the home stretch: just this one week of bulking left! :happy:0 -
You have done brilliantly well! Average gain looks spot on. How are the 'fluffiness' feelings?0
-
woop woop!! Almost there! Well done you, that's a great gain!0

Really can't wait to get all the fluff of again.0 -
Week 21: week of 17 February 2014
Average intake: unknown, haven't been counting calories this past week.
Weight per 22 February : 61.6 kg, + 1.7 kg when compared with last week, but it's TOM so most likely skewed with water weight.
+ 7.6 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.36 kg per week.
And this concludes this bulk! :bigsmile:
In some way I'm glad it's over for now, I'm still feeling mighty fat. On the other hand, yesterday I got complimented on my figure, so it' s probably not that bad. This week I'm going down to 2050 kcal and the week after to 1800.
For exercise I'm switching from my current upper/lower split back to the 3 times per week full body routine I was doing before. Also, I will slowly re-introduce some fitnessblender hiit on my non-lifting days, and running when its light again in the early morning. I'm looking forward to it!0 -
I hope you took end of bulk pics!!!!!0
-
Fantastic results! I'm sure most of your "fat feeling" is only things you can see!
And ditto on the post bulk pics. I think I'm taking mine this afternoon even though I have 1 week left.0 -

My end of bulk results, including pictures!
Last week I've been holding steady at maintenance and yesterday I started cutting after 21 weeks of bulking. Here are the stats!
Length: 1.65 m (5'5")
Bulk duration: 21 weeks
Average gain rate: 0.33 kg / week
Weight: 54 kg (119 lbs) -> 60.9 kg (134.3 lbs) = + 6.9 kg
Waist: 69 cm -> 73.5 cm = + 4.5 cm
Belly button: 77 cm -> 83 cm = + 6 cm
Hips: 82,5 cm -> 92 cm = + 9.5 cm
Thigh: 52 cm -> 57 cm = + 5 cm
Bicep (not flexed): 25 cm -> 28 cm = + 3 cm
It seems like most of the extra weight has gone to my hips and (possibly) butt. The pictures below do show that:
Will see if anything of this added mass actually sticks..
Anyway, loved doing this bulk, because it made me deal with food in a whole different way then before. I didn't have to up my intake very much to gain the weight (from 2000 kcal netto to 2300-2400), but it did make it easier to deal with snacks. Knowing that the impact from that isn't that big when looked at the whole picture is a relieve in some way.
It also showed me that I have my TDEE numbers nailed pretty spot on, which is on the one hand a bit depressing (Come one, only 2000 kcal per day, including lifting!) but on the other hand nice to know with some certainty where I stand.
For now I'm cutting at a very conservative deficit with a 1800 kcal daily netto intake (including lifting, excluding cardio). In September I will certainly start my second bulk!0
