It's a great day to be a duck! The storm you midwesterners were having made it to us in earnest today. I couldn't not make my goal with only 4 miles left so I got out there and got it done anyway. 4 very soggy miles and some very strange looks from folks in cars. It's good to have serious foul weather gear. I'm particularly grateful for the sou'wester hat my husband bought me - better than an umbrella in my book!
So that's 100/100 for April. Now on to May!

Had to wait for the storms to let up before I could get out. I started out my walk by rescuing a turtle from the middle of the road - took him with me around the lake till I found a nice spot. Was only planning my usual three miles but did some extra to get closer to my 10K steps, then remembered I had 85 miles already and decided to turn the four into 5 miles and make it 90 for the month, which is my personal best.
TL;DR 5 mile walk :laugh:
This was my 12th challenge and my doing 90 miles (and running 16.5 of them) is amazing to me. I can't thank the mods enough for this group, and all the encouragement. I started last year with 30-35 miles and not making those every time. And I love reading all the progress posts of my fellow *kitten* movers - we rock! :glasses:

I got a 3 mile walk in today, between the rain that doesn't seem to want to go away. I'm supposed to be running tonight, but alas, it's raining again. The combination of rain and hills - :noway: Being sick really threw a wrench into my getting out like I had planned this month.
MTD - 116.9/120. I'm disappointed to have missed my goal. Bring on May!0 -
