    Easter Sunday I was able to get a run in before all of the festivities of the day began, I hope you all had a fantastic Easter by the way. Today my short ride on the stationary bike got me some more miles under my belt.

    Adding a total of 7.92 miles for Sunday and Monday, bringing my total for the month to 60.03

    Wow! Where have I been? This thread really moved along. Adding another 17 miles. That's 240 out of 400. I always running but I'm always running behind. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    Sorry to read that your body is giving you problems! Be nice to yourself & maybe ride an exercise bike till things are completely healed. I took tumeric to get rid of my PF. 1/8 to 1/4 tsp in juice EVERY day till the pain went away, which was about 7 days! It has not bothered me like that since!!

    Got 19.7 miles on the bike in today.

    In related news, my dad (64) finished the Boston marathon today, and my sister, in solidarity, walked 26.2 miles around our home town. I'm feeling a bit like a dolt for not taking the time to ride a full 26.2 miles. I thought about it, but I convinced myself I had to get back to work, since I ride during my lunch hour... I kind of feel like I missed out on a once-in-a-lifetime event of the three of us all doing 26.2 miles of exercise in some fashion - but oh well... such is life, I guess. Just disappointed in myself.

    My mom walked around Boston a bit while my dad ran - BUT she saved some guy's life in the subway yesterday (administered CPR after he went limp after stating he was having chest pain and shortness of breath - my mom is a nurse... paramedics arrived and he was still alive, likely because of her quick and knowledgeable reaction), so I guess she has us all trumped :)

    Life goes on (in so many ways).

    Meg - injuries can be SO disappointing, can't they? But, even though you're not getting high numbers for mileage, I am SUPER impressed that you can swim a mile. I can't even swim a quarter of a mile without feeling like I'm going to die, so way to go! Not super high numbers, but what a great workout for you!

    Thanks! Takes me ages, but I've always loved being in the water!

    Dave - it is my lower back bothering me, it's a problem I've had a long time, and I'm waiting to get into the physio but it's a long waiting list! Any tips on exercises I could do would be greatly appreciated :smile:

    Swam another 0.6 miles today, 29.6 miles done.
