Hi everybody,
Though this is an excercise thread... I wanted to ask all of you for suggestions... Though am excercising regularly... My food intake is erratic... I stay on track almost till evening.. But in the evening when am tired and am cooking i usually tend to snack.... Peanuts... Juice.. Though healthy things... I exceed my calorie goals... End up undoing all my day's work... :explode: Help with suggestions or strategies by which u guys stop mindless eating...0 -
i drink water! or green tea (no sugar). just fill the tummy up with water and there wont be any space left for snacking! ofcourse you have to make peace with running to the loo very frequently...id read an article recently that said that at times we mistake thirst for hunger; so the first choice when a pang hits should be to drink water.
what i've recently started doing is fill up my mfp diary with my known meals (breakfast, afternoon snack, dinner) at the start of the day itself. so then i know exactly how much i can indulge for the more unknown meals (lunch, evening snacks).0 -

Welcome awesome......i played football after a long time. Playing football at 40 is awesome. Did my 10 kms in the morning and hence am pretty tired
@ Naruto.....with food around it is difficult to control. I dont join my family when they are having their meals. You being a lady cant avoid it as you cook. Increase your water intake. Make popcorns if you want to snack. drink soda and not juice. Initially drinking soda wont taste good but believe me in a week or so you will develop the taste. By soda i mean plain fizz soda and not a soft drink.......hope it helps0 -
Hi all...thanks fr a gr8 welcome..! A real nice spirited group this is.well..putting on a kg of weight is so easy while getting rid of the same one kg seems to take forever. I was this thin girl I don't even know when I put on all those horrid kilos dat too with my little toddler around.neways now I do strict food watch and cross trainer for 7 km every day without fail for d past two months.could manage to lose only 2kgs.0

Started weight lifts and dumbbells. 20 minutes first day.
Heard and read a lot about Cardio Vs Strength.
Lets see how it goes.
