I feel asleep doing taxes before I could finish my last big glass of water and I don't mind going red once in a while. I've been doing pretty good with this group so far; much better than when I'm on my own.0 -

Good amount of steps today! I was surprised to see I had hit my steps goal by the time I got home from work. Looking back it seems like I should be able to recreate that activity with some thought....that would be exciting!!!:flowerforyou:

I did a 5 mile power walk and then ate a slice of cake with way too much icing (I did not eat all the icing). The cake had no nutritional information so I have no idea how many calories it was. I decided that since I had 400+ calories that should be enough for a slice of a mini cake (serves 6 max from our local grocery). :laugh:0 -

Walked the pups tonight. Had a "Power Your Lunch Hour" with staff where we shared some fitness "toys"---like the hula hoop, weighted ball, ping pong, Tai Chi video, and balance board...and of course my shake weight!!! Was a good time and requested to happen again! I'm sure i should be able to log my laughter as the Shake Weight NeVER disappoints. :laugh: :laugh:0 -

Sorry to have disappeared...the internet went out here at the house and social media is frowned upon on the work PC. I logged from my phone, but the site is hard to use on the tiny phone screen. My husband the network engineer walked me through fixing it when I got home today. Neither of us had time Monday or Tuesday.
I did my second day of running this week. Knee pain is less this time. Yay! My daughter went with me today, which was nice of her because she could have run 3 miles in the time it took me to do 1.5. One more 10 hour day tomorrow and my work week is over.0 -

I've had a great 3 days off work with lots of boot camp, zumba classes and fitbit steps. I'm feeling close to a scale victory and maybe shedding some inches. I've got 2 more weeks of "cleaner eating" and ramping up the activity as part of an 8 week challenge at my boot camp. Back to work tomorrow and Friday where staying within my calories gets a little more trickier.
@R_Queenie- how fun to share fitness toys with your co-workers! Setting a healthy example for the work place. However, I hope you did not skip lunch altogether!

Those boys kicked my buttocks tonight - or at least made me work until it's sore. They were having a hard time last game taking the ball from boys there size so I made them play me 1 v 1 to show them that they can do it without hurting or getting hurt. Coach is tired and sore.0 -

Ran again today. This time I was able to do 4 1.5 minute intervals and 4 1 minute intervals and the knees feel good. I may be able to run more of the 5k on May 3 than I thought. (knock on wood)
