Statistics Saturday: this is our 43rd MYAC. So far we have 96 starters and this includes 6 newbies (welcome!), compared to 117 starters last month. That means a lot of our regulars haven't popped their heads up yet. No one has made goal yet, but we're only 32% of the way through the month so that just means no one set a low ball goal. 30% of us are on target to make our goals. As a group we've pledged over 12,000 miles, which comes to 4 miles per person per day. Our cyclist friends continue to boost our numbers. Dcmat, lovemyalex, clepant and sufferlandrian have each moved over 100 miles already this month. Dcmat continues in beast mode with over 300 miles moved already!
Keep up the good work, folks, and keep your @sses moving!0 -
Adding another 25 miles for a total of 139 out of 400. I had to go over a break at work so I was doing laps around the block. At least it's a 3.5 mile block but still..... Pleasant ride though. 36 degrees, very little wind and very little rain. It was quite and relaxing.
I knew I should have entered that as soon as I was done. Janet always beets me to the spreadsheet on Saturdays.  :laugh:0 -

Cool, sunny day here in western Michigan, so besides riding the stationary bike, I walked out in the meadow and looked for more signs of spring. I found late daffodils, the beginning of color on the redbud tree, and a haze of green/yellow on the branches of the deciduous trees. Yes, and peepers singing to each other in the wet spots.
6.36 miles today for a May total of 34.86 so far.0 -

Got 3.3 miles in today - ran 3 + .3 of warm up/cool down. The run was relatively flat, and relatively easy (i guess all the running in my neighborhood, which is super hilly, is paying off! on flat, I'm really able to cruise and not get completely worn out). The difficult part of the run actually was stopping at 3. I felt good enough to keep going for awhile yet, but I really don't want to push it... so I stopped.

Thanks, Dean...you're not doing too bad yourself!!
I worked really hard today because tomorrow will be a bunch of sitting!!!
18.53 miles...it took me from 8:30 this morning until 10:45 this evening and my feet are whining big time and there's a deep grove in the hallway tile!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!
Must go in search of my pillow now!
