I'm in! My goal is a minimum of 22 miles per week in runs, for the month of June. The first week will be more than 7 days because I'll be travelling/on vacation to Canada and back on June 5-9th.

    So:
    June 1- 9: 22 miles
    June 10-16: 22 miles
    June 17-23: 22 miles
    June 24-30: 22 miles

I'd like to average 25 (100 miles in the month) and will be aiming for that, but want the ability to fall back to 22 miles. 22 will still give me the most I've ever run in a month.

    June 1-9 ran 25 miles

June 10&11: was sick, didn't run
    June 12: 4 miles
    June 13: 6.5 miles
June 14: 3 miles in the morning; 3 miles in the evening
    June 15: Nosework trial
June 16: 4 miles in the morning; 2 miles in the evening
June 10-16: ran 22.5 miles RAWR!

Completed my goal for this week, over 71,000 steps, so 30% more. Not sure I reported last week, but completed that goal too.

    Goal: 85,000 steps a week

    June 1-7: 104,878
    June 8-14: 93,521
June 15-21: 111,932 (40,075 of those were from yesterday)

First three weeks combined, I'm 55,331 steps over goal.

    RAWR

That's awesome! First time around how many days a week did you want to hit 10K? Was it twice? Now you're averaging more than that over a period 7 days. Way to step it up! (Pun intended...but serious sentiment.)

I met the challenge and strength trained 3x this week. Tuesday & Sunday were a challenge to get through. Friday was easy.

Not sure if I am going to hit my target the next few days. I've had a sore knee since Tuesday and have still managed to get my steps in, but even walking on it hurts and I don't want to make it any worse. Taking it easy the next few days so I can hopefully get back to running next week.

I'm definitely in trouble this week. This is a recovery week for running so even though I've been going for walks I haven't been running much.

I'm on schedule to complete the challenge successfully, but feel that I'm pushing it for the sake of finishing the challenge rather than because it's good for me. I'd rather start my half marathon plan.

Can we get a group agreement that 3+ weeks is enough for this month? Do people want to take a break, a rest week, or keep going?

I started my week on the 1st so I actually have a few bonus days at the end of the month to get my steps in.

Donna you definitely shouldn't push yourself beyond what's safe or healthy for the sake of a challenge.

I'm more confident now. Only need 3 miles more running to complete this month's challenge. I should get it in tonight, then on to the half marathon plan (with an interruption in two weeks for my drive to and from Houston, TX).

I'm ordering my new tank tonight!! As soon as I see how the rest do.

I have managed to complete my goals this week, even when injured. Today I didn't hit my 10,000 steps target but I did a 50 minute cardio workout this afternoon and it only credited me with the same amount of steps that I get for walking to work, which is 12 minutes each way. For quite a bit of the workout you had to have your hands on your hips or on the floor (burpees, spider lunges etc) so it didn't pick up the movement. I am pretty sure I would have done 3-4000 steps minimum which would have taken me well over my target.

Well done deksgrl! Just realised I have been reading your name wrong, always thought it was deskgrl! Can't wait to hear how everyone has fared.

I totally didn't do my stretching last week. I'll total up the numbers tonight. Thanks for continuing your challenges!
