This is going to be a great week. I am going on a date for the first time in over 13 1/2 years. Yikes! I'm also working on getting ready for a 4.5 mile walk/run in August so doing 3 to 6 mile walks every day.

@skittles: I cried the day I weighed in under 300. Now, I'm working to get back under 250, and yeah, I'll probably cry then too!

How was the date? and I can't wait to be under 300, just 10lbs way. it seems like it is taking forever to get there.

I haven't had great control over my food and that is causing a problem for me. I need to get back to. the work outs are find but the food part sucks. I think I just have to take it a meal at a time. I know what I should be eating. I need to just keep at the right things

This week, I am challenging myself to do 30 day shred or the Jillian Michaels workout at Curves everyday. Made out my menu for the week as well. What's everyone else doing to make the last 10 days of July healthy ones?

Can't believe July is almost over, boy does the time just fly by. well I weighted my self today and I finally hit pass the 1 lb a week lose and did 3 lbs lost. I'm just so close to 300. I am only 8lbs away. I can do this. I am hoping by Sept 20th to see 295. I don't know because I slowed down on the weight. so we shell see.

How is everyone else doing? whats good, bad the ugly going on? Share because I feel it truly helps us all. I know a while back I just wanted to give up, some days I have that feeling. but over 200 days now of logging and seeing my weight drop makes me want to keep going. so don't give up.!!!

I'm finally (just barely) out of the 300's! I love seeing a different first number on my scale! I celebrated by swimming 1500 yards, which pretty much pooped me out for the day! (This was just over a week ago). I think the extra exercise really helped push me over (er under?)

@shuttles (great name by the way!) The date was good in the sense that I stepped out of my comfort zone and I handled his rejection due to my weight. Ready for the next one!

It is the end of the month, how has everyone gone with your goals?

For me, I didn't meet my goal of doing something everyday, but I'm okay with it, because I started swimming laps, which I had wanted to do for a while now. It took me a long time to get over the fact that I was 300 some pounds and swimming laps next to NCAA Division 1 swimmers. (My pool is at my husband's university, and some of the swim team practices on their own during open swim, at least in the summer). It took from April until this month to finally take the plunge (literally!!!) I realized that in the pool there are people of all abilities and sizes, and nobody really cares. Yes, to my left might be a super fit elite athlete, but to my right might be someone who is at my level, or was at one time. Oh, and swimming is an amazing workout, I am physically able to burn way more calories and exert myself much more than I can with any workout on land. Thank you water for balancing it all out!
