Apparently summer isn't over here in SoCal....95 degrees today and more of the same thru Sat. I'm REALLY glad I decided not to go to the air show with the husband this weekend..that tarmac is going to be hot as hell!! I need to get back in the pool for some swimming.0 -
Yay October!! I cannot wait until it is actually cold here (I can't believe I'm saying this), so I can wear my sweatshirts! But I am not looking forward to the freezing cold that Kansas provides.

It's in the high 80's in KY today, but has been chilly enough to open windows at night for the past couple weeks. We're supposed to get a 30 degree temp swing over the weekend with highs in the high 50's Saturday. That's KY weather for you. Fine by me; I just got 4 pair of boots in the mail last week!0

Glad to see all the posts for October! It has been getting cooler too. Our heat came on for the first time since last June. The mornings are crisp but the sun has been making an appearance as well.
We will be heading south from Olympia on Monday and will spend two to three weeks on the road in the trailer. We plan on seeing the Redwoods out of Crescent City California and then moving north up the Oregon coast- which is spectacular btw.

Thursday-thirsty thrusday reared its lovely head.....4.5 mile walk with a stop at the brewpub....3 beers and a glass of wine at home
Tonight will be wine.
Tomorrow we have Lenny's family annual fallfest, so much beer will be drank.
I am going to try and abstain sunday, just so I don't feel like poo for 3 days after...I think its smart to start my 3 day hangover on sunday
Lenny is traveling next week, so I will probably be having some wine all week...in moderation of course
