    Hi all,
Yesterday was a down day. I am sure I will have a few more of those on this journey out of the darkness. today is better. I had white wine yesterday. it helped. don't know what today has in store.

    I'm back!! :grinning:
Miss you all....boy do I have some work to do in the diet and exercise department.
Good news for you all: no more trips planned until next year...so you won't be hearing about that. In the meantime I'm looking to drop a good 5-7 lbs at least by the end of the year (altho I've avoided the scale for now) :open_mouth:
Hope everyone is lushing it up well this weekend!! :drinker:

    Welcome back Sydney!!!!!

Had a fabulous time at the wedding saturday and in true lushy style got pretty hammered. Danced my *kitten* off, so score for some exercise  Yesterday we took it easy but did have some bourbon mead when we got home!!
Think I might take the next two days off from drinking :noway: but wednesday we have a concert so I am sure I will have some drinks.

Had a pretty mellow weekend. This is actually the best I have felt on a Monday in a long time! Getting ready for Jack's first bday party this Sunday! Having about 50 people to our house, so I am sure I will be drinking to keep me relaxed ;)

The beer club was a lot of fun. Although, the guy (yes, a guy lead this month's meeting..boo) was a total jerk. He was so full of himself and was really awkward and quiet. It was really weird. But, the beer was good!

    Friday - 4-5 beers & wine
Saturday - lots of beers & wine
    Sunday - 0
    Monday - 0

Tomorrow I plan on working out after work and then picking up some drinks for myself. My hubby is going to the WORLD SERIES...and I don't get to go :( Oh well, I'll just watch under my blanket on the couch. Go Royals!

    Syd, welcome back!
Chloe- can't believe your son is a year old- time sure goes by quickly.
Kate- you guys always seem to have great times- ahh, to be young again.
Bridget- now a beer club sounds great- sorry about the jerk who lead the meeting.
Robin- hang in there, remember- one of your favorite holidays is coming up!

We are back from our vacation- it was good but the last half we got rained out. Stayed in, ate drank and no exercise. so now its time to get back into it and work some of this extra weight off. Have a great week all!

Gary, I was sad about it. LOL. I was hoping if he had a beer or two he would loosen up and be more friendly, but that wasn't the case. He was a space cadet! To each their own....

Sorry your vacay got 1/2 rained out, but at least you had a good time! I would love to take a vacay!!

Lushy weekend, Friday I only had one beer after the 5k, then had some wine at home.
Saturday I split a pitcher of margs with friends, then had a beer
Sunday we watched the Bronco game at a nearby brewery and I had three beers, then home for a fourth.
I think I will shoot for 0s until Thursday, when we will watch the Broncos play somewhere...

Last night I did a little workout...and made dinner. Tonight I plan on either going to the Y or going home and taking a long walk. I'll be all by myself tonight as my hubby will be at the World Series game. So jealous! But I hope the Royals win and he has a great time...and that I get a present in return ;) LOL

    Monday - 0
Tuesday - 0...unless I change my mind later.

I had wine...shocking, I Know. But I'm back exercising which feels great. Husband might be going out to dinner with his mom and I'm thinking I will not go to avoid drinks and eating like crap. We'll see what ends up happening.
Nice job on the 0's Amy!
Kate you managed a great workout this morning even after your brewpub walk..well done! ;)
Hopefully Kat will check in soon. I saw her exercising just recently on my feed so I know she's around. :)

    Hi Lushes,

We have finally moved and closed on the other house. I finished most of the shopping for the rooms - the last thing is knobs for all the cabinets since we thought it was less expensive to do ourselves. I do have to admit tho, my fingertips are sore from not having knobs. LOL. Oh, and bar stools for the island.

Now, begins the arduous task of emptying the storage units and garage - especially, since winter will be looming it's ugly head and the thought of tracking snow everywhere is not a good one.

Good to see the thread is still thriving.

Gary, have fun on your trip
Mama, my wish for you is to feel better in 4 weeks, right?
Kat, I bet your house is spook-tacular by now!!

So, I have not disappointed and have been lushy for sure.

My beautiful aunt died unexpectantly this week and I will be traveling to Chicago for what will be a horribly sad, sad funeral. She was the life of a party with her antics and stories!! I will miss her smile, her one brown and one green eye, her blunt frankness and her ability to stick up for anyone in the family no matter how wrong that person might be.

Good to see you back, kim! Condolences for your loss...sounds like a great lady.

I stayed home last night and avoided going out to dinner..had a good workout yesterday and am back on track with the diet. It feels good. Warm here today so I'm going to hit the gym and then the pool for maybe a swim if the water isn't too cold!

Oh..and I noticed the bookmark for groups works now (that little star in the right hand upper corner) so if you hit that it will take you right back here every time! Yay! (*)

Sydney- thanks for the info on the bookmark- now if only I had a list of how to do our old emoticons...... These new ones suck hairy donkey balls.

Kim- glad to see you back and that you are moved and closed. I know it was quite the ordeal for you.

I am sorry to hear about your beloved aunt. Perhaps there will be a reception afterward where her life can be celebrated? After Darla's mother died, the memorial was very sad, but the reception was full of fond remembrances.

Amy- two zeros! I wish I had your discipline!

Gray rainy weather here in Washington. Will counter it with some home made beef stew followed up by curling up on the couch and watching a good movie.

    Morning Lushes!!!

HI KIM!!!!!!!! We missed you and I am glad you are in the house....the process must be daunting but its gotta be kind of fun to set everything up right??!!!! So sorry about your Aunt and I hope, like Gary said, that the reception is a time to remember what a fun and loving lady she was. When Len's gmom passed away, it was sad and hard, but we def celebrated her life after the service like she would have!!! :flowerforyou:

Wednesday-2 bourbon cocktails at lunch with my mom. Headed home after, changed, had a beer, and headed to the city...good lord I-76 sucks....anyone ever coming to the Philadelphia area try to avoid it...3 in the afternoon and traffic stands still for NO REASON! I happen to think Philadelphia drivers are pretty damn horrible, as well, and that adds to the traffic, but anywho's. Got down to our cousins, had a few beers and dinner then headed to the show. It was fun. All total I had 8.5 drinks...not too bad??!!!!

Thursday-2 manhattans and 1 glass of wine.
Not sure what is on the agenda for tonight, probably some vodka!!! Tomorrow we are doing a 5k...no running, just going to support the Historical Society in Warrington, PA...my brother is on the board. Then breakfast back at my parents, and then Lenny and I head into the city for WEEZER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will check into the hotel, then walk around, have some food, drink some beers before the show. Super excited. I like Primus and all, but Weezer is my jam

robin, mine does the same thing-says I have no bookmarks when I marked it...
kate, I saw Weezer at Riot Fest and they did the whole blue album from 1994, I was thrilled.
Sorry to hear about your aunt, Kim! It's hard, and especially when it's sudden. I guess people have different feelings about that. My dad's passing is one year next week. I can hardly believe it. He thought it was better to prepare and say good-bye but I don't know, it's all hard either way.
I ended up drinking Wed, I had a glass of red and a beer.
Thursday we went out and I had a marg and three beers.
    I need a nap!
Happy Frday, all, have a great weekend!
