    Cool I'm glad I found a ripped in 30 group!!! I cantwait till I start I tried it before and I had awesome results I didn't lose a lot of weight but I lost a bunch of inches!!
  • I bought the DVD last week, but just unwrapped it last night! I had planned on starting it tomorrow, so this group is perfect to help keep me accountable!

    Hi all! I just finished 30 day shred and downloaded Ri30 and plan on starting in the morning. I like to take a day off here and there to preserve my sanity and recover a little, so this will work out splendidly.

    I might be getting my copy on Wednesday, by that time i think I can start doing it, but I have to finished my 30 day shred for 5 more days since I need to stop it for 3 days bec. of my painful menstruation. i will resume on Wednesday though. so excited to start a new workout. I think taking measurements before starting is a good idea.

    I have been researching reviews of Ripped in 30 and am planning to get the DVD from Netflix as my next DVD. I saw the links to do the workout for week #1 online or to download it, so I will start with that. Thanks for the links! I have a lot of weight to lose (over 60 pounds) but I want to be fit and toned when I lose it, not just less fat :laugh:

    I am starting my JM Shred today!! My plan is to do 30DS on MWF and incorporate running 3 days a week. I am starting my training for a half marathon in Oct 2012. I just completed a 10 miler in Oct of this year and really enoyed it.

    I love JM and all her workouts!!

    Just starting my last 30DS workout right now. Tomorrow will be my first day off in 30 days and then it's on to Ripped in 30 on Wednesday!!!! Can't wait!!! Loved Mel's 30DS group. Fun inspiring women.
  • How are you recording the workout in your exercise journal? I don't know what to put it under...aerobics?
  • W1D1 Done of Ripped in 30...man I was sweating! I put it under Aerobics, high impact...not sure if that is what it is considered....

    I've also ordred the vid online and am waiting for it to come in the mail so I'm excited about joining this group. HOpefully it'll arrive before 16 Nov so I can jpin in.

    Nawwwww thanks! :blushing: I work hard and am still waiting for this vid to come from E-Bay so hopefully it'll arrive soon so I can start my day with one of Jillian's fab workouts and you all to check in with :smile:

    Second day of Ripped in 30! It's an awesome workout! Wish I would of been looking for this group a couple of days sooner. Sorry for the head start, but I will tell you this, I loved 30 Day Shred, and so far I love ripped in 30!

    Its circuit...as far as I know...that how I log it...good job btw!
  • I'm in!!! I have Jillian's 30DS, R in 30, Yoga Meltdown & 6 Pack Abs. I just use them as needed, depending on my mood, I haven't commited to any 'programs, or challenges'. I love all of her workouts, but I have been in a rut lately. I really need to develop some commitment & motivation before I let the holiday season pull me down. I'm in for Ripped in 30 starting November 16. I'll take measurements & weight tomorrow morning & hope I can stick with it! How is everyone using R in 30? Everyday? Are you taking rest days? What is the protocol?

    Hey all! I too just finished 30ds in group with MelGibson! That was my second time shreddind! Now excited to get ripped! I am in maintain mode so not looking to lose, just trying to get muscle tone and definition. I will take measurements before ripped to see progress!

  • Hey everyone. So excited to find this group; I really need the accountability and a place to share, ask questions, etc...

    I love love love Jillian's dvd's. I completed Ripped in 30 in the summer. Was faithful with tracking food and exercise and only lost 5 lbs in one month and was really dissapointed because I worked so hard. I think I'm not calculating calories burned correctly, I don't have a monitor thing. My goal is to lose 3-5 lbs a week and I'm willing to do the work it takes and looking forward to participating in this group. Getting ready to take measurements and get started today.

    Also, I rarely log in from a computer ( use my phone app mainly) is there a way to access this group through the app?

    You should try measurement too. I just finished 30DS and though I only lost 4.5 pounds, I lost a total of 12.125 inches and notice a difference in my clothes. I think if I didn't measure I would have been dissapointed.

    Not shallow Cristi. I found myself distracted by her outfit in Level 1 of 30DS - kept waiting for those pants to fall off her hips! Congrats on finishing Day 1 - I'll be joining in tonight!

    Day 3 for me and I absolutely love the work out. Today it was kicking my butt, but I made it! All day I have had so much energy, it just feels so good to have motivation! I just crave these workouts!

    Hi all!!

    I am a day late - the story of my life!! I got RI30 last night and ready to start tonight after work! I have never done a Jillian work out before.. yes, I can hear you laughing at me and shaking your heads. I am going to give it my best shot though.

    I am excited and ready to be in a new exercise routine. I was wondering, how often do you weigh or tape yourself?

    Today will be my first day of 30 Day Ripped I just finished my 30 Day Shred yesterday. Did not loose much weight but I lost inches and was happy and overall I feel better and have more energy :bigsmile: Can't wait to start 30 day ripped and do something different!!
