I'm on day five of a 12-day Prednisone taper, so this should go away by next week and then some. I will definitely spend this week compensating for the water weight. The 2lbs is not a biggie because I got a major NSV which is I now officially do not have type 2 diabetes. SaWeet! I will trade 2lbs for that news any day. :-)

My guess is its user error. I am actually really good with computers, but the smartphones,...not so much.

Man, I'm struggling to keep my eating in check. My weight is continuing to yo-yo because of the lack of self-control, but this week is going to be better.

I've been having a ridiculously bad round of plantar fasciitis for the past few weeks that's making it really tough to push myself to work out, even though my doctor and PT confirmed that I'm not going to hurt anything by exercising through the pain. I ordered some new sneakers last night since mine have several hundred miles on them and am hoping that helps with the pain.0 -

Hey Steve, I only count a .1 pound loss from your update.0 -
Good morning men. I hope you all had a decent and weekend.
Steve - huge congrats on knocking out the type 2 diabetes. That is simply amazing and I'm am really happy and proud for you. Great accomplishment.
Horst - plantar's heel sucks. I've had it and know exactly what you are going through. Hope it passes sooner than the norm.
Here is the chart.

Nice Job guys. Thanks, Tim, that was cool to get off my records. I should have put LW-274.5. Good thing I am not a typist by trade I would be in trouble. :-)0

I will be off the steroids Sunday, so I should see a big drop next week. Lots of NSV's. Officially in 40's in all my pants, jeans and shorts. I can button the neck on my 2xl's and I am just about finished with my presentation for the Cochise County Healthy Workplace Initiative. I told all my old cronies from the probation dept. that they better be there, or I was going to raise puppies up to hunt them down. I hope I wasn't too warm and fuzzy, then they might not believe me. :-)1 -
Kinda had a crappy week in the eating department last week and didn't get as many steps in as usual resulting in a slight bump in my weight this week too.

I was just hitting a rhythm and then got sick and started eating the hot comfort foods that I crave when I'm sick. I'm up three pounds again and am pretty much where I started.

I think I am smartphone challenged, I swear I posted on Wednesday morning. definitely a lot of water from the steroids, but I'll take it. I do not think I am going to make 255 in the next ten days unless I starve myself, but I will endeavor to be happy wherever that scale lands on my 55th. I am going up to Vegas next week to help my brother move for 5 days, so who knows, maybe I'll get close.
Dale, nice job. Tim and Horst you guys got this, this is a bump. Something I noticed is if I really tighten up on the salt and increase my water on Wed/Thurs my weigh-in is better on Friday.1 -
I thought I would post my labs to show how powerful this Whole Foods way of eating is. It really works and you don't have to eat just plants, think lean meats, no processed foods, cut out the fat, sugar, salt and excess oils and watch your body heal. There is a documentary on Netflix called "In Defense of Food" It is a good watch.

Guys -
Steve, love that progress! Healthy food and some exercise is the way to go.
I've been traveling and had some parties but exercising and skipping some meals so it's been weird.

I've been wearing size 36 pants and L shirts, bought some "trim fit" dress shirts that fit so much better. And this week I hit 50 pushups in a row for the first time since I was in my teens! (Skipped a day lifting due to a wrist injury)
Let's finish out the fall strong, guys!2 -

Man I love it when everyone post a loss for the week!! I had the smallest loss but it's still a loss which is a WIN in my book. Great job everyone. Steve, congrats on another huge loss for the week. If you don't mind, send me your diet info. This might be something that I need to look into. Thanks and hope everyone has an awesome week!! Tim

Good morning men,
I hope you all had a great weekend. I hate to admit that I never jumped on the scale this weekend. My wife's birthday was Friday and she also retired from her job 32 years. So, we had a lot of family and work friend events and things like that. I had a decent week last week and I actually got quite a bit of yard work done on Saturday. I'm hoping that will reflect on this week's weigh-in. I'll hopefully get the chart up a little later today.0 -
