    I did the ALS ice bucket challenge last week. When I watched the video, I was embarrassed by how I looked. Hopefully that motivation sticks with me for a while .

    I lost 2.4 pounds this past week. Woo Hoo, finally a decent number in the right direction.

    Watching myself on video was the most embarrassing and motivating thing I've done in a long while. I hope this keeps up. I am down 4.3 pounds this week to 333.5.

    I hope everyone is well and look forward to getting back on the wagon with weekly logging.

    Check - in
    LWW = 204.1
    CWW = 205.2
    Gain 1.1

    Still going the wrong way, but I plan to be back on track next week.

    Good job Tim on the loss this week, 4+ pounds is awesome. Keep up the good work.

    Way to go Dave! I knew you would quickly chip away at those numbers.

    This will be my 3rd week in a row that I lose weight. Not as much as the last 2 weigh-ins but still in the right direction.

    LWW 333.5
    CW 332.8
    Loss of 0.7

    Tim, great job on three weeks in a row. Keep it up.

    I'm checking in tonight with my Wednesday morning weight instead of Thursday morning, because I had pizza for dinner and I'm sure the salt will make my weight balloon even though my total calories minus exercise is still in the green.

    Anyway:
    LWW = 204
    CWW = 203.9
    Loss = 0.1

    So holding steady, which is good for this week. Looking for a bigger loss next week.

    Again, great job Tim.

    Nice job maintaining Dave. I gained bit this week. I think part of it is a huge Mexican dinner I had last night. I did slip on eating a couple other times this week to though. After work tonight I'm starting a flooring project for a friend so should be burning quite a few calories. I'm going to try and be a little cleaner this next week and should be back in the loss column.

    CWW = 202.3
    Loss = 1.6

    Tim - Those Mexican dinners will cause the scale to jump up, but they certainly taste good and are enjoyable to eat. It sounds like the flooring project will help burn some calories, I expect you'll be back in the loss column.

    I had a good week, now to try to make it two weeks in a row.

    Hi Dave,

    Looks like its just you and I for a bit. Nice loss this week buddy.

    I think I have had a pretty good week. I lost another notch on my belt and am feeling good. The scale is really surprising me though. I've jumped on it a few times this week and it is all over the place. This morning's weigh in though put me right back at the same weight.

    Ok, I hope all you men find this thread despite the changes MFP has made. Not liking some of the changes myself. Like Josh said, lets finish the year strong.

    After 3 years exp with exercise, for me losing weight with Cardio is not a big deal, controlling my diet is becoming a big Challenge. All Indian Delicious Home made food, I cannot tell my wife not to cook, its being cooked for kids, but father is ending up eating more... :s:s

    Let us see, next week I have to plan some thing, I will be happy to see all your Golden Comments to control my diet.

    Hi Shabbar,

    Welcome back my friend. It is good to have you back here. I have reset your starting weight and we will do this together.

    Indian food is delicious and I can understand your difficulty. My only advise would be to try and fill up on other more healthy things during dinner such as vegetables and water.
