Yahya & Kristy~ I think your lucky if you don't gain much in the last trimester. I tend to gain the most weight at that time. I know they say towards the end the baby gains about half a pound a week.

Amanda~ I love the new ultrasound picture. It's adorable. I'm glad you were able to make it there on time.

Kristi~ I have had trouble with pregnancy insomnia this time. When I wake up at night to use the bathroom I have trouble going back to sleep. I'm usually a great sleeper and my husband has trouble sleeping so now I can sympathize with him.

AFM~ I'm loving the weather. I have been walking outside and playing with the kids. I even have a very light tan. :) My only problem is I don't have maternity shorts. I'm not buying any this late in the game, but I'm able to wear my workout shorts from before pregnancy below the belly. I have picked up an extra 12 hour shift at work this week. The extra money will be nice for maternity leave, and it should help keep my mind off of when this baby is going to appear. :)

<~~~~~~~UPDATED BELLY PIC! Taken this morning by the hubby. Geez... is that what I really look like?! hehe

Now that the weather's been getting nicer, I've been missing my usual activities (flag football, running, kickball, nights out with friends... ) much, much more. I would say I don't mind being preggo... but some days I just cannot wait to be back to "normal". Lately, after about 30 minutes of just walking I start to feel an aching under my belly. Is this normal for everyone?

Rachel - The same thing happens to me. I fall asleep fine and then wake up to pee in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep! I agree - it's definitely more tough when you're used to being a good sleeper. I can't even begin to imagine how it's going to be when I'm a sleep-deprived new mama getting up with a newborn all night! I'm sure we'll get through... but it'll be rough!

It's supposed to be another beautiful day here in Maryland. I'm planning on going to Zumba at lunch (depending on how I feel, this might be the last week I go) and packed a healthy bunch of snacks/lunch for today. Work is busy, busy, busy....

Hope to catch up with you all soon!

Hey gals! Quick check in. Still busy with our office move. I can't believe baby will be coming two weeks from tomorrow! CRAZY! And I still have plenty to do! But we have been making major progress at home. Basement is almost done...big play area for Kadence now which is great! Also have the office fixed...still need to file a bunch of stuff away, but it is WAY closer to being finished! Also need to put the bassinet together and finish up some laundry that I need to do by hand. And I need to throw a few last things in our hospital bag. So...we're getting there!

Hope you are all well. I hope to catch up more later!

Hey ladies, had a busy weekend, mother came down and my friend had a huge Party Lite for her, so thats what I spent the majority of my sat doing. The Sunday we drove out to Banff. I had started getting this uncomfortable chest pain in my left side everytime I breathed deep, and it kept getting worse Sun. Hubby and I decided to go to the urgent care here and have it looked at. #hrs later they decided to take me to the hospital and talk to a specialist, so in the ambulance I went. I was freaking out because they wanted to make sure it wasnt a blood clot. Luckily the specialist said it wasnt likely to be a blood clot so we went home for the night, tyhis was all sometime after midnight. I really didnt want to have an early c-section, I was getting pretty upset at times, which didnt help the pain either. We came back the next day and had an ultrasound on my legs to make sure a blood clot wasnt the issue. Thank god it wasnt. So no real answer as to what it is, no infection, and I wasnt hit there, so mabe its a bruised intercostal muslce? Saw my delivery Dr yesterday and went over everything, bab i sdoing good and tummy is growing. She couldnt figure out how baby is lying, I feel that he/she is oblique. If they tell in a few weeks then Ill have to get another ultrasound to see where the lil one is.

Im feeling very tired lately. daily activites are beginning to become a struggle. How long are you ladies going to work for, Im thinking Im going to work till the 6th then Ill be 37 weeks.

Also finished my course!!! 77% Can't complain

    Hi Ladies,

Finally back from my wonderful vacation and next week will officially be 28 weeks...so I am transitioning over...

Sarah - love the idea of sewing my own hospital gown...think I am going to try it since i have wanted to try to start learning to sew.

AFM - Vacation was awesome...did lots of beach and sun. My little guy has a nice tan even though I lathered him up everyday with sun block. He loved it...orginally I wanted to leave the little guy at home but he probably had more fun than my husband and I combined. My hubby took him to the pool almost everyday, we took him snorkeling with us and then did an island tour. And he was good for the most part but never wanted to come in each day...he loved the water and the weather so much. And my husband did daddy duty all week so I could really have a baby moon. Awe...the week went by too fast.

I ate pretty well while on vacation, and the scale was kind to me when I got back just a pound gain. The weather is wonderful here in MD so I have been walking every other day this week in hopes of not gaining anymore weight before my next doctor's appt next week. I love spring because that means I can workout outside with my son and not have to worry too much...the only down side is that he only last 45 mins in the stroller so I either have to walk fast but i will take what I can get. Today while I was walking my belly started to itch something fierce...had anyone else had that happen while working out? The baby in my belly seems to be doing well...baby was very active tonight moving and kicking and has been doing a lot of punching kicking and adjusting the last few days...so amazing to feel the little one in there...thats the one thing I will miss when the baby comes out.

Alright well I am done rambling...so glad everyone is doing well. Glad to be back on board to keep my on track. Does anyone know if Heather had her baby?

    will check back in 2morrow.

    Hi ladies!

Tara - How are you? How does your chest feel? Did they ever figure out what was going on???

Kelley - Hoorayyyyy on a great babymoon! :drinker: It sounds like you all had a fabulous time and I'm a touch jealous of your beach and pool time! Hope you got in some great relaxing and are all geared up for the 3rd Tri!

    ***********************
I've had a super busy work week, but unfortunately almost all of it was writing plans and reports.... ugh - too much time sitting at a computer for me this week! The good news is that I have off tomorrow... have a morning dr. appt and then am driving up to NY to visit family for the weekend. We're having a small baby shower on Sat and I'm super excited!

I seriously cannot believe how quickly time is flying by. Preganancy is so weird--when you first find out, it seems like 9 months of a growing belly is going to take FOREVER, but then the weeks keep flashing by and I really can't believe I'm going to be a mom in 8-10 weeks?! I mean... really????? :noway:  At times I just want to get back to my "normal" body and activities, but that's countered by being a little nervous/anxious about having a new baby... and not wanting D-day to come before I feel ready (if that ever happens?). We have a super busy April planned with birthing classes, weddings, family visits, work stuff, etc.... and I just hope I can hang in there and make it to May in good shape to welcome our little Quin!

Wishing you all a fabulous day!

    Morning Ladies,

Krisiti - sorry you have been stuck at your desk all week hopefully this weekend will be a blast and rejuvenate you for next week. Driving up to NY sounds like fun and baby showers are always nice...especially your own.

AFM - Not to bad today the baby was up as soon as I got out of bed and has had a surprising active morning. I ate pineapple as part of my breakfast and that seemed to set Jolie off ...I felt like baby has been bouncing off the walls... Slept well last night and was able to get to bed before midnight...was pleasantly very tired and slept through the night...my walks have really been helping me get more sleep. And my little one slept all night too was even asleep when I woke up this morning...yeah so I was able to get ready without worrying about him. Good start to this foggy morning...but somehow I still feel a bit out of sorts...I am hoping the sun comes out so I can walk this afternoon as well.

I packed a nice big salad for lunch so that will hopefully help as well...
Hope everyone has a great day...

    Hello Everyone,

Lately, I have been having lower back pain, more contractions, and can't stop going to to the bathroom. I'm still trying to talk this baby into waiting until my doctor gets back (next Monday), but I'm not sure if it's going to listen. Last night I didn't even eat supper because I was constantly going to the bathroom. (Sorry if thats TMI) I thought for sure I was going to wake up in active labor. I even packed the kids bags, but woke up this morning sore in the lower back with some irregular contractions. My husband called off work today since it's his birthday. He told his boss it was because he thought I might have the baby today. I think he might have jinxed us and then he will be sharing his birthday.
I'm hoping to get the house clean and go for a walk before going out for his birthday tonight. I have been walking everyday, but yesterday I had to slow down because I kept feeling pressure down low and didn't want my water to break when I was away from the house. I hope everyone has a good day, and I hope things turned out well for Heather.

Rachel- exciting!! sounds like could happen any min! Where are your kidlets going when you go into labour? Im still ironing out where/what to do with mine.

Kristi- I dont think anyones ever really ready to be a mom, it will probably happen when you least expect it.

Kelley- so jelous of your trip! Its snowing here..:noway: Which is nuts cause in some parts of Canada its +24!? or even higher. That is reallt wierd for us. So I can empathize with the fog.

AFM- rib pain is gone today, which is wierd cause it was here all day yesterday. So thats good. Pretty lazy last night. By the time supper is done, kid is bathed and in bed Im done! Hubbys going to Florida for a few days so that means me and me lil peanut will be on our own. Im tired already thinking about it

    Hi ladies!

Wow...time is flying! I still can't believe I only have two more weeks until c-day! Trying to get things done around the house and at work. Been SO busy and my body is regretting it! Swollen feet have made their appearance now...and I'm SO exhausted by the end of the day it's unreal. But...two more weeks...I can handle!

I also have the jitters some days...about being a Mommy of TWO! I've settled into the Mommy on one role and am so comfortable there that it makes me nervous that it will be changing! But it's also super exciting...especially since Kadence can hardly wait to be a big sister! I just want to make sure to still have plenty of one-on-one time with her.

Had a doctors appointment yesterday. Heart rate was in the 130s and baby was super active! I decided not to have them check for dilation since it can sometimes encourage contractions...and with a scheduled c-section, they left it up to me. So...just hoping baby stays cozy until planned! :) I go back for one more check up next Wednesday with the delivering doctor and we will go over all the last minute details. All I know so far is that on April 4th, I go in at 6:30 to get prepped, and once they are ready, it takes about 1/2 hour for the c-section! I can't wait to hold my new little one!!

Exercise is pretty much non-existent these days, but I do walk two flights of stairs multiple times each day now in our new building at work. And I am SO tired when I get home that there is now way I'd be able to get any more exercise in! I'm trying to eat healthy, however I indulge most days when I have a craving...but again, I figure there's only two more weeks...I'm not going to worry too much. Still dealing with heartburn, sciatic pain, and pelvic pain. Again...only two more weeks!

Only thing I still want to buy is a Moby Wrap...I'll probably order one from Target one of these days. I know I had Kadence in a sling all the time when she was little, but I think the Moby will be more comfortable. Does anyone have any experience with one? Just curious.

    Well...back to some more work.

Tara~ I'm lucky to have a very supportive family that also happens to live close by. My sister-in-law has actually requested to watch them while we are in the hospital. She lives about 10 minutes away. It's another reason I'm hoping to go next week because my children and hers will be on spring break from school. Then I won't have to worry about other people taking mine to school and doing homework, etc. However, if I deliver and they are still in school my mother-in-law and father-in-law would watch the kids and get them to school for me. I also have an awesome babysitter that lives close and is willing and able to watch the kids if I can't get a hold of someone else. My mother and sister also live close by, but there work schedule would make it harder for them to watch the children consecutive days. I'm really hoping my mom will be able to be there with me for the delivery as well. My husband is planning on staying with me while we are at the hospital so I really appreciate having so many people willing to help us out.

Sorry for the long reply, can you tell what's been on my mind lately?

    Nite ladies,

Weather turned out excellent today and I got to go working...yippy..felt great afterward. So I am very happy.

Tara - so sorry to hear about the snow..we didn't really get any snow this winter. Glad you are feeling better. I with you on being tired having to be on toddler duty on your own. They are very cute and loving but some days so much energy it's exhausting. When we were on vacation we started calling my son a green apple sour patch, because sometimes he was so cranky and then he would just stop and give us hugs... You will be fine though somehow we always find the energy.

Krisitin - I have a moby type wrap that I never used with my first son, but plan on using it with the second. I know lots of moms who love it especially in the summer because you can wear a tank and then just wrap the baby. I am also with you on being worried about caring for two. I was just in the groove of being a mama of one...I had a schedule down pat. Some days I am totally anxious about having two babies at the sametime...and this from me who wanted twins. I just keep reminding myself I am not the first my mom did and it and so did many woman before her.

Fitnurse - I am envious of you...I so wish I had some family around who could help me care for my little ones. My mom and sister live like 400 miles away. I do have a pretty good nanny that can help out and a few church people who live close by but nothing like having family close by...maybe one day.

Alright...I was supposed to work tonight but got nothing done...feel a little tired tonight so I am going to head to bed and hope tomorrow is better.

    Nite ladies...

Kristi- Our room started beige too and I think if I hadn't found a room design I loved I would have kept it that was with some colour accent pieces for decorations. Painting is proving to be a lot of work! Love your new picture! I know what you mean on the feeling of 8-10 weeks to Mommy time. Hubby and I were cuddling on the couch the other night and he says, "I can't believe this quietness will be gone in a few short weeks when baby arrives."

Rachel- Thanks! I'm wishing the weather here would make up its mind whether it wanted to snow and be winter or melt and be spring. I went from no snow on my yard to 5 inches the last 2 days.

Kristin- Glad everything is coming together for you! You're so close :)

Tara- Nice work on the course. I feel you with the rib pain. Mine is still bothering me.

Kelley- Welcome to the 3rd trimester club. I'm glad your baby moon went so well!

AFM- My first week of "light duties" is done and I think I'm more exhausted now then I was doing regular duties. Rib pains moved around to the front most days and since baby is laying transverse with her feet down I think now it's going to be a constant thing until she's out or flips. I had a weird thing happen yesterday and just wonder if anyone else had felt something similar. I was reaching into the back of my SUV yesterday and felt a large POP on the right upper side of my abdomen. It was quite unnerving but there has been no change in fetal activity, belly changes, or fluid leaking. It definitely wasn't baby movement and I've never felt it before. I plan on bringing it up at my next pre-natal but that's 2 weeks away. It's still a little sore in the spot today but nothing in comparision to my typical rib pain so I'm trying to not let it get me worked up.
Busy weekend ahead. Going to church with the in-laws today and then they are coming over for lunch. Then tomorrow hubby and I are signed up for a pre-natal birthing workshop, followed by my regular pre-natal yoga and then Monday is our 1st year anniversary so we are headed off our a 3 day anniversary trip to the mountains. Going to the spa, relaxing and hopefully getting in to see The Hunger Games movie.(I just finished the series on Thursday night and it was really good for those looking for a good series.) Anyways hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

    Good Morning Ladies,
My morning started off with a bang. Woke up to one of the dogs puking at 5:55 so got up and cleaned that up and decided my back was too sore to go back to bed so I'm up for the day(which on a rare day off is way too early!) Heading to Banff today for our 1st anniversary and babymoon. Hope it's a nice rest and relaxation time with hubby.
We had a couple pre-natal yoga workshop yesteday and it was a blast and quite informative. Hubby is now super excited for labour and birth. He's like a little kid waiting for Christmas, it's cute. Also got a brand new $300 travel system stroller/car seat for $9 out of pocket expense which made my day. We went in because I had finally decided on a stroller and it was on sale. So got there and they were out of stock so I got a $20 off coupon. Used up some old gift cards we got for our wedding and cha ching cheap stroller.
Anyways just a quick check in from me since I'm up so early today. Time to go pack and finish laundry. Hope you ladies had a wonderful weekend!

    Good morning ladies!

Well I had a VERY busy weekend! I have taken the "Nesting Instinct" to a whole new level! We had been working on fixing up our basement (it has been a disaster for a few years) and I scrubbed the floors, deep cleaned everything, and now have a nice looking area! I seriously am surprised I didn't put myself into labor! And there's still more to do which will continue this week and next weekend! I can't believe how much I'm getting accomplished! At least pretty much all the baby stuff is done...except I still need to put together the bassinet. Otherwise, we are set!

I think Kadence is starting to realize that the baby is coming soon. She's been more clingy than ever...and started calling me "momma" in a baby-tone. Makes me a little worried, but I'm sure we will be okay. Definitely feeling emotional these days though...going from one baby to two still scares me a little...especially now that I'm so close! One week from Wednesday is my c-section...I can't believe it!!

Well...I hope you are all well and have a wonderful day!!

I'm definitely going to check out the "Pregnant and I Know It!" video tonight when I get home (don't want to look up that one on the work computer!)

Quick Monday checkin - read through your ladies posts... sounds like everyone's busy and has some good stuff going on! Keep up the good work, mamas!

I had a busy, busy weekend. Had a great trip home to NY to visit the family and they threw an awesome & fun baby shower for me. I got so much stuff... I couldn't fit it all in my car to bring back to Baltimore! Seriously... I think between the new goodies and the hand-me-downs we've received, we will be pretty set up. I still need a few small items (diaper bag, crib mattress pads, sheets) and then a breast pump. NOW... I need to start organizing the room. For the past 3 months, the "baby room" has been just a mess of boxes and random baby stuff I've thrown in there. I need to get to the store to buy some types of bins/closet organizers.... and then I'll be able to start washing clothes and putting away things in the closet. Ugh... lots of stuff to do!

Speaking of stuff... what do you do with things you receive that you don't really need? I mean - I think I got about 20 heavier blankets this weekend. Some are beautiful homemade quilts and baby blankets (keep those!!!!), but then it seemed like everyone had a blanket of some kind in their gift. I want to be able to return a few of the ones I know we'll never use (even if I had triplets I wouldn't need this many blankets!) and then use the money to buy the other items i still need. If the gift receipts weren't included with the gifts and I don't know where they were bought... what do you suggest I do???

Have a great week!!!!! :flowerforyou: :glasses:

Kristi...I would try Target, Walmart, and Babies R Us...a lots of times they're from one of those! :) Just go in and tell them you didn't get a gift receipt but are pretty sure it's from there. I did that with some of my stuff last time...and I think most of it was from Target. Good luck!

Kristin- - this is what I did. All the things i didnt need frm my shower i leave it in my car. Went to Walmart Target sears smart etc..I browse the store looking to see if they have that save exact item. If they did, I go back to the car and then go to cust svc and tell them I got it frm my shower and wnna Exchange. All of them have asked if I got a gift receipt. I told them no. So they would give u thecurrent selling price. Smart gives the lowest price that was sold within the last 12 wks. I had 2 bath tub and went to return to smart cuz I saw it there for 20.99 and I only got 10.99 credit cuz that's the lowest it was sold within the last 12 wks. But it was ok cuz I didn't need 2 bath tub. I rather have the $10 and buy something I needed.
I still have few more items to return. I had a lot of carter clothes and macy, Sears, and carter took it. I took the credit on the gift card so I can shop later when baby gets older since I'm set as far as clothing . I have enough clothes for now 0-6 months.

Kelley- welcome to the 3rd tri.

I got a moby wrap at a kids consignment place that is in excellent condition with instruction booklet color blk for $26. I was so happy.

Went to my Chk up on wed and I've gained 5 lbs in 1 wk. But my nurse practitioner thinks I'm retaining water cuz I was a bit swollen. 30 lbs total gained so far. I was 2.5 cm dilated and about 70% effaced. Was having braxton hicks last nite. I was an emotional wreck. Told my husband I'm not ready yet. 1- because its our first girl after 3 boys. 2- I still need to wash all her stuffs. 3- I still an armoir for her clothes and things, 4- my mother in law has to still Exchange the playpen she got me. 5- we don't hve a name we agree yet. Ugh!

Kristi- glad u had a nice time with family in NY.
    Kristin- u r so close.

Did Rachel and heather have their little one yet??

Amanda- u totally scored on ur stroller. ;)

I'm officially on maternity leave as of today. Yay! I hope to get a lot of things done around the house.

I'm still here. My doctor just came back to town and I had an appointment today. I had him strip my membranes. He said I'm 1cm dilated. (That's farther than I have ever dilated ahead of time and this is my 4th pregnancy.) He also did a quick ultrasound to double check and make sure the head was down. It is down. I'm really hoping this will work like it did with my son and I will wake up in labor in the morning. I'm ready to have a baby and be off work while my kids are on spring break!
I went for a 45 minute walk this morning. Then after he stripped my membranes I went to the grocery store and stocked up. I made sure to push the heavy loaded cart and my 8 yo daughter stood on it to give me a little extra to push. If that doesn't put me in labor, I'm not sure what will...

I'm praying for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. I would love to have it tomorrow, but I will try not to be too disappointed if I don't have it until after my due date. :) I hope everyone has a nice day. I might try and take a nap while my son is down for his. I might need my energy.

Ugh!

I'm officially on maternity leave as of today. Yay! I hope to get a lot of things done around the house.

    Sharon,

My weight gain was ALL done in my last month!! I would gain 4 & 5 lbs within days (I was going to the dr twice a week) but after having the baby. Continuing to eat right & nursing- as of today (my son is 3 wks old) I am now down 40 + lbs. I have passed my pre pregnancy weight!! You are right it is water retention and with time that will come off too....

Congrats on your baby girl and don't worry about being an emotional wreck. I think it's a combo of everything- I know it was for me. You'll do great

Hi Ladies! So I hit the 28 week mark yesterday and am excited to join all of you here in the third tri! Had a dr. appointment this morning and everything was looking good, and I passed the 3hr glucose so that was music to my ears! She gave me a lot of info today about choosing a pediatrician, hospital registration, kick counts and classes- so lots to add to the to do list! My doula had sent me a "birth preferences" worksheet to discuss with my doctor and unfortunately that didn't go as well as I'd hoped. :( Kristi--kind of similar to what your initial l&d discussion with dr sounded like. My dr knew about our doula and my wishes for a nucb from the first visit and seemed pretty open about it, but when it gets down to the nitty gritty there was alot of no, no, no....So I'm feeling slightly frustrated but trying to stay focused on the big picture and not let it get me down! Yikes, didn't mean to ramble on about that! Just wanted to say hi and check in real quick- gonna read up on your posts and pop back in later :)
Hope everyone's having a great Monday!
    Goals:
    - Alternate cardio/strength & pilates Dvd's mon-fri
-Watch that sweet tooth and sub fruits when craving :)
    -Eat more fiber!
    - Organize that baby to do list

Finally… a little time to write back and comment!

FYI – That “I’m pregnant and I know it” video was funny, but kinda disturbing. I don’t know what teenage boys would ever decide to make a home music video about being pregnant. Pretty weird stuff!

Thanks for all the input about taking back some of this excess stuff! I think I’ll try to return some of the stuff (to get store credit where I can for stuff we still need), keep some stuff with tags still on just in case I end up needing it, and then maybe donate some.

Sharon – Great deal on the Moby wrap!!!! Don’t worry about the weight gain at this point… who knows what your body is doing during those last few weeks before delivery. And, just as Denise, said I think you’ll lose that water weight pretty quickly after you have the baby. We’re all emotional wrecks! Don’t worry – you only have a few weeks left!!!! Besides… now that you’re on maternity leave (YAY!), you’ll have more time to relax and get things done that are still stressing you out.

    Kristin – Happy Moby Wrapping!

Rachel – I laughed out-loud reading about your labor-inducing efforts. Hope they work and you have a happy, healthy baby soon! I’m so impressed that you’re still out going for 45 min walks… I really hope I’ll be able to stay active right up to D-day. You are my heroine!

Denise – I LOVE the new picture of ‘lil J! Oh my – what a cutie!

Welcome to the 3rd Tri, Jane! Glad to hear about the glucose screening results, but sorry that your discussion with your doctor didn’t go as well as you had hoped. Believe me, I feel your frustration! However, take a few deep breaths… think about your “ideal” delivery and then think more about your talk with the dr. For me, it helped to ask a lot of “Why” questions when the dr. wasn’t as open to what I had hoped or seemed to be pushing certain procedures that I wasn’t sure I wanted. There were some things we were able to compromise on (for example: I’ll have a heparin lock, but don’t want any IV or medication unless I ask for it or there’s an emergency situation) and other things I now better understand the risks and reasoning behind why the dr. is concerned and through understanding feel more comfortable with (for example: once my water breaks, I won’t be able to walk around because of the risk of a cord prolapse). If there are still things that you and your dr. can’t seem to compromise on AND you don’t accept the dr.’s reasoning for why it has to be a certain way… start researching alternatives now! If I didn’t find a way to work out my concerns through talking more with my dr. and visiting the hospital, I was definitely going to research and try to find a midwife or alternative birthing center! At least by having discussions about these details and concerns now, you will have the time to get comfortable with the ideas about labor & delivery and visualize a more realistic experience that works for us and the doctors… OR work out an alternative plan. Good luck… let me know how things go!

Amanda - Hope you are having a great trip and enjoying the mountain air.
Glad the pop on your side appears to be nothing.

Kristin - wow you got lots done and all with a toddler around...i am impressed. I completely understand about being anxious having two babies at the sametime. Today I was hanging with some moms in a moms group I joined and got some reassuring advice. I had planned on having someone come help in the mornig after I had the baby so my son could kind of maintain the routine I have him in and she said that's one thing she wished she had done. Not necessarily hire someone but have friends or family come by to help her older child ( like take her to the park or a playgroup) that way she didn't feel like this new baby took away all the fun. I am not sure that's something you can put into action but it's worth a try if you can. Either way, I am sure your momma insticts will kickin and you will do great with both kids. I know it will take a while to get into a groove but you will figure it out...hang in there.

Kristi - so glad you had a awesome trip home and a great baby shower. As for returning items, sometimes stores will take back items if they sell them at all. What I did when I took things back to Babies R US I took things I thought might be there merchandise and asked if I could return it...I also did the samething at Target. YOu could hold onto the items for someone else who has a baby shower and regift, I did that for some items. Or you can try to sell the items online. It can be fustrating but there are ways.

Rachel - here's hoping you have a baby this week.

AFM - pretty low key weekend...finally got the hubs to do a little bit more painting in the nursery.
Other than that I got my 3 mile walk/run in yesterday and hoping to get another 3 at least 3 more times this week.
Have been doing pretty good on food, having lots of fruit and veggies already cut up in the fridge makes decision making a little easier. So far my little one has been very active, more active then I remember my son being...even as I type baby is moving around in my tummy...very active at night and in the am not so much during the day but that may be because my son is so active the baby spend most of its time listening to him...lol...
Anyway, going to be a busy week workwise and on Thursday I have my 28 wk ck up and picking up a swing that goes front to back and side to side...something that I have been looking for and couldn't find for below 70 but found it on a listserv for 50...yippy.
Alright it's late going to head to bed. Hope you ladies have a great night.
    Will ck back tomorrow.

    Kelley
