My new Salsa Warbird. I picked her up yesterday morning and wrecked 20 miles later. She suffered only a tiny scratch. Luckily, my body broke the fall and the bike was saved. Priorities. I tried to get a proper photo of her on a ride, but my camera was not cooperating.

The kitchen/stable set up. My Trek 2.1, Trek 7.5 FX, and my Warbird. The city bike and mtn are hiding in the basement. These are my girls.

Here's a quick photo of Mrs Slo's new 1973 Raleigh Grand Prix turned into a town bike. It arrived Friday from Seattle, and I spent today scrubbing, polishing, and waxing. It sure rides nice!More/better photos to follow.

Why does this link take me to my photos?

because it's a link to the person's "edit pictures" page - but - as a user only has access to their OWN edit pictures page, you get that. When I clicked it, I got MY edit pictures page...

Basically - the link is crap.

I thought that might be the case.

You need to 'host' the picture online (Flickr etc.), the copy the URL for the image and type [*img]paste image link here[*/img] (without the asterisks)

    Hope this helps?

P.S. Don't have the picture any wider than circa 600 pixels, otherwise you won't see the whole image

Just got this Kona Dew+ yesterday. I'm very excited, I've been riding a department store bike that's been falling apart for over a year. I plan to put a lot of miles on this one.

Great thread! Not sure how I managed to miss this one.

My road bike. A mostly-stock 2011 Specialized Roubaix SL2. It had a Power2Max power meter with FSA Gossamer cranks and Praxis Works chainrings added along with Reynolds Assault carbon clinchers.

The 'cross bike. This one is kind of a Frankenbike. 2014 Ridley X-Fire frameset with the wheels and SRAM Rival shifters and derailleurs off my old Fuji Cross 1.3. The rest of the build is aluminum FSA bars and stem, carbon FSA seatpost, Fizik Aliante Versus saddle, and Quarq Riken cranks and power meter.

The TT bike. Another Frankenbike of sorts. It started life as a 2011 Specialized Transition Comp but developed some flaking clear coat on the frame right after I got it. Specialized replaced the Comp frameset with a 2011 Pro frameset and the local shop swapped all the parts over. The only modifications I've made the Specialized S-Works set-back seatpost, Specialized Sitero saddle, and some no-name carbon aero clinchers.

Last but not least is the mountain bike. This is a bone-stock 2013 Specialized Rockhopper Comp 29er. The only additions to it are bottle cage, Time ATAC Z pedals, and the Garmin mounts and sensors.

I need to add my newest baby, "Toothless" (after the dragon in How To Train Your Dragon -- I'm descended by Vikings, so it seemed appropriate). Seven Ti Mudhoney, hydro discs, Ultegra Di2... The steering tube no longer has an excess knob. I ended up liking the position in the photo, so it's nicely trimmed-down.

That's Seven the cat (she's polydactyl and has 7 toes on her left front paw (6 on the right and 5 on each hind foot) showing off her lasers to protect my ride. We had her for several months before my bike was even in the works.

Only downside of the bike is that I get awful toe overlap (short chick with big feet, ugh!). I had a little bit with my entry-level Redline Conquest (as seen in my profile pic), but it's much worse with the Seven...makes slow, tight turns in CX extra challenging. It's super comfy for road riding with slick tires and awesome on gravel, too. I really love the comfort of Ti.

Still very in love with my road bike, but he's going to get aerobars and lighter rims for my duathlons this year.

Congrats on the new bike. I have a Spectrum Ti with Campy, carbon wheels & Avid disk brakes. It is wonderful on the street.
