To those having trouble with tapermonkey: I couldn't get the tapermonkey option to work. It was much easier just to download the script to my desktop, then drag onto the Chrome extension page. (The other method mentioned on that page.) Have you tried using that method to install?0

Installed this today- very impressed!!0

I'm late to the party, but this is great! Thanks!0

So, so cool! Thank you!0

This is the most awesome thing ever! And I'm not super-savvy with extensions, but the Chrome work-around was quick and easy. Love this script.0

Does this not work with Chrome. I tried installing tampermonkey and everything, but it won't work. Darn.0

It does work with Chrome, but you don't want anything to do with Tampermonkey - it over complicates things, and as you stated does not work.
The first thing you'll want to do is right click / save the script (left clicking it will attempt to execute it, and we don't want that.)
Next, you'll want to open up Chrome, go into the chrome menu (the top right) and then hover over "tools," and click on "extensions" to bring up said extensions menu.
Once inside the extensions menu, you'll want to drag the net carbs script, and drop it in the "extensions menu." Once you do all that it will ask you to confirm the install....Confirm it, and then make sure you've got your fat, carbs, protein and fiber being tracked in your diaries on MFP, and it should work like a charm.0 -
Man, if I could get this to work on my iPad that would be awesome! My I do get the pie graph with the percentages but they aren't correct because of the net carbs.0

Newb here. I haven't tried this yet but I was just wondering, if I track my food on my iphone, will it update if I log into my desktop?? I'm just wondering if this will even help me because I really don't log on with my desktop EVERY day like I do with my app.
Thanks!0 -
It seems to have stopped working for me all of a sudden in Chrome. Anyone else experiencing this problem?0

No, it's still working for me and I use chrome. Is your browser up to date, or has it recently updated? Have you tried re-installing the script, or re-installing both the script and browser?
I'm not sure if any of the aforementioned will work, but it's worth a shot.0 -
I'm having a problem with a custom recipe data.
My recipe looks like this:
Calories Carbs Fiber Fat Protein Vit C
285 - 18 - 7 - 10 - 37 - 50
After adding it to my Food Diary, it look like this:
Calories Net Carbs Carbs Fiber Fat Protein Vit C
297 - 14 - 21 - 7 - 9 - 37 - 50
As you can see, the calories and carbs both increase and the fat decreases.
It's a great script, & I'd really love to figure out how to make it run correctly for me.
do you have any tips or tricks?0 -

I'm another one for whom the fixes haven't worked. I did the manual search and replace, I downloaded one that someone had posted with the update, I tried dropping them on the chrome extensions page, I tried using Tampermonkey, nothing is working. So I just reinstalled the original and hope the developer finds out about this and pushes an update some day.
For now, I'll do some math. It won't kill me.0 -
Thank you! It's fantastic. It helps immensely to have things sorted out just so.0

I'm getting the NaN column all of a sudden. Is anyone else?
me too, it's a shame as it was working so well0 -
that usually happens if you don't have the fiber column displayed. (It's trying to subtract a nonexistent value from an int) If it is displayed then I'm not sure.0

Also, some foods entered in the database have the macro amounts entered wrong, so the script gets confused. Just search the database for another entry for the same kind of food that doesn't cause the NaN error.0 -
I'm not getting the NaN displaying, but Google Chrome has yet again blocked my extension. I already went through the process once to recover this like a year ago and just now they blocked it again. I may just have to stop using Chrome because they are getting ridiculous.0
