I have a 1st date tonight. I'm already nervous. Blah blah blah.
I feel like I'm going into the ring and I need somebody to pump me up!

Whenever I'm getting nerves, I go work out.0

It'll be ok - lucky you. You'll be great0

Everyone has them.0

Just be your amazing self and he will love you.0
-
You rock, he is lucky for the opportunity to take you out.0

So maybe I'm not going out.. We just texted back and forth some and he said he suddenly got sick to his stomach.
He just texted me that he doesn't want to lose his chance with me and that he really wants to meet me.
Good thing I'm feeling extra lazy today.0 -

ahhh that sucks!0 -
that was weird... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
He said if he feels better he'll let me know but if not can we go out tomorrow.
Okay, I should believe him but that was sudden.0 -
He double booked! Stomach virus ?? No I think he double booked0
-
Quite weird. The last time someone did a random change of plans via text with me, it was because they lost interest.
So unless this guy got really bad food poisoning from lunch, I'd be suspicious. I'm always suspicious on a change of plans before a first date, because usually the excuse is bogus (at least with women).0 -
well he keeps texting me he's really sorry and that he wants to try tomorrow??0

if he did.. well there's no way to find out and that pisses me off!0 -
That's my guess! I don't buy the sudden change of plans right before a first date. He may have dbl booked to go out with friends but either way I think (and I may be a little jaded with dating lately) he dbl booked.0

Why trying to have a meaningful conversation via text in the early stages isn't worth the effort.
Double booking happens. Both men and women do it.0 -
well I just texted him "It's kind of odd you got sick so suddenly . Just call me tomorrow and we will see. Oh and feel better!"
lol0 -

well we did talk earlier on the phone.. but if he really is puking (IF), then guess it's difficult for him to chat lol.0 -

If there's a hottie I want, I'll talk to her and re-assure her that I want her , even if a salad bar did a number on my stomach.
When I was a sophomore in college, I had a bad incident with some Mexican food. I was vomiting for two days. How romantic!0 -
Move on. There are lots of guys out there. Don't even worry about the explanation or the drama.0

Now he's sending me these LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG texts about how he really is sick and how he was the one that contacted me, he's the one that's been chasing me and he's the one that asked me out so how could I think he was faking. (I never said he was faking.. just said it was "odd" because it is)
Yeah. No.0 -

Possible he lost interest, or was never really interested to begin with. I cancelled last minute on a guy I wasn't really interested in (just wanted to get out of the house, which is the only reason I agreed to begin with) because I realized there was a soccer game on that night that I had wanted to watch. Heh. Told him I got a migraine...
no idea why he'd lose interest in you since you're awesome, but guess it wasn't meant to be?
Side note: I did wind up going on a date with him the next night and he turned out to be really sketchy. Like, creeped me out within a few days after our date. I can fill you in if you REALLY want to know, but not gonna put it here, haha0
