    And also, anyone have any luck with finding long dresses in a deep, deep red? I haven't found *that* shade that I love yet.

    Red...for bridesmaids then? I know I tried on a couple, but most were a very flat, moldy burgundy color...the multipurpose bridesmaid and/or motb dresses. You may want to check out this link, and look for the color "Barcelona": http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/d565/

    My bridesmaids will be wearing dupioni silk, and I think we're going to get a seamstress friend of ours to make them... French Blue dupioni silk (the Watters sample in the store was gorgeous; their website doesn't do it justice), in the style of Alfred Sung knee-length dresses with large pleats. Each gal's dress will be the same on the bottom, but the tops will go with their style. One shoulder on the MOH, then a scoop neck, boat neck, ruffles, v-neck, and halter.
