Me, my husband, and my youngest son were out on the 2nd walking around our neighborhood with our Weimaraner and a loose dog with no tags ran up to us and started to maul my dog and go after my son a little bit. It was the scariest thing ever, and I really thought my dog was done for. My husband finally managed to get the dog off of our dog and scare it away. It was super traumatic and physically exhausting. Animal control came, the police, the news, etc. Took my dog to the emergency vet for triage and stitches to the tune of $400, and he'll have to go back Saturday to get his stitches out, etc. I was so shaken up that I couldn't get up the energy to do anything yesterday. I'm so glad that we're all okay though.0 -
