Running low on protein currently using the Whole Foods 365 brand which has 80 calories and 16 grams of protein per scoop. Any recommendations? I usually use the protein to make smoothies. If possible, something with more protein would be great since I have trouble hitting my protein goal.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you go to bodybuilding.com they have a ton of really great powders and they give you customer perks all the time. I really like that chocolate peanut butter made by Syntha. I've also used Jillian Michael's Chocolate Whey. It's cheap and tasty, but around the same grams you have now.0

I love the flavor of Optimum Nutrition. Double Rich chocolate and Vanilla ice cream yummy0

I have never tried it because I do not like the macros as much but I have heard this several times.0 -
My husband uses Optimum Nutrition in vanilla - 240 cal for 42 g protein or something ridiculous (I use his for cooking). I use Jay Robb Egg White Protein in either chocolate or vanilla - 120 cal for 24 g protein.0

They are all slightly different but mine is 240 for 48g.0 -

The "Ultra Peptide" product is more like a meal replacement shake, the "Ultra Peptide Whey" is more of your standard protein shake.0 -
I use CytoSport Muscle Milk. Its not bad tasting, but I can get it in bulk form from Costco for cheap.0

Optimum Nutrition. Double Rich chocolate

Will certainly be trying other flavours.0 -

I use the cookies and cream......It's ok. Probably do chocolate mint or double chocolate next time.0 -

Nice. thanks for the heads up.....Didn't realize there were different products and the ultra peptide whey is more in line with what I would be looking for.0 -
Optimun Nutriion's Rocky Road is really good but my new favourite is Gaspari Myofusion in Cunnamon Roll. so good I drink it with just water! Tastes and smells like Cinnabon0

Hmmm 42 sounds like a bit much for me but 24 g is definitely a good start. It's definitely been an adjustment increasing my protein. I'll check this out thanks!0 -
The vegan protein powders are so expensive. I may just go on an all bean diet....:laugh:0

I just ordered Syntha6 from Amazon because it had great reviews on taste, and mixes well with water (according to reviews). It should arrive tomorrow so I'll be back with a review. I got chocolate milkshake and vanilla ice cream.0

I use Truetein Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and it is DELICIOUS!! The other flavors are also amazing (cinnabun, chocolate dipped strawberry, chocolate covered banana)...it's a blend of whey, casein and egg white protein. 23g protein and 115 calories for most of the flavors.
It also has Omega 3s, BCAAs, Glutamine and a whole bunch of other stuff
Seriously though, it tastes amazing!0 -
Bump for interested people!0

Right now I'm using Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion in milk chocolate and I LOVE it!!! I mix it with skim milk (sometimes unsweetened almond milk) and some PB2 and it's like a chocolate-PB milkshake!! Oh and it has 25 grams of protein per serving!
I've also tried Trader Joe's whey protein in vanilla and that was pretty good. I have Jillian Michael's whey protein in vanilla and while I'm not wild about it, it works when I need some extra protein.0 -
I use Gold Standard 100% Natural Whey. 130 calories per scoop (1 serving) 24g protein.0

Muscle Gauge Nutrition Pure Whey Isolate
Tastes amazing, and I've tried many. No fat, 110 calories for 25g of protein, BCAAs....This protein powder is amazing. I usually get mine from Nutraplanet or Muscle and Strength. It's almost always sold out...which should tell you how amazing it is. All the flavors rock except vanilla. My favorite is easily the Chocolate Mint or Banana, while my wife is head over heels for the Cake Batter and Ice Cream Sandwich. Also great price! ~$50 for 5 lbs. Can't beat that.
Try this!0 -
I've just been using Body Fortress super advanced whey isolate in vanilla creme. I like it, I can drink it mixed with water and actually enjoy it, lol. I don't know how it stacks up against other isolates on the market tho, it's not expensive, 2 lbs for a little over $20. One scoop has 130 cal and 30g protein. No fat, 2g carbs, <1g sugar.0

The chocolate milkshake flavor arrived today and I just had to try a little. I mixed half a scoop with some water and it mixed pretty well and tasted better than most I've tried. Only downside is 200 calories per serving, but I used to have to mix my other powder with milk so that's okay. I read some glowing reviews of Truetein today though and would really like to try that next.0 -
I am using Bluebonnet whey isolate at the moment. They don't use artificial sweeteners. I love it0
