    Sunday - Elliptical - 4500 strides (3.4 km) ----> Done 3200 strides (2.4 km)
    (So I owe myself another 1300 strides ..YIKES!!! :embarassed:

    Monday - Elliptical - 4500 strides (3.4 km) ---- went for a 5.2 km run instead. YAY!!! :bigsmile:
    Tuesday - Swimming - 1 km
    > swam like a fish for 1.5 km. YAY!!! :bigsmile: :drinker:
    Wednesday - Run - 5 km ----> nature's intervention :noway:
    Thursday - Run - 5 km
    > elliptical - 3000 strides (2.25 km)

    SUN: .90mi elliptical + 4.81mi cycling (roads)
    MON: .50mi walk around buildings to loosen up (too much desk sitting at work --looong day of working today too)
    TUE: 3.55mi cycling (roads) (Finally bought a helmet... now to work those hills around me some more)
    WED: 3.16mi run (Stars & Stripes 5K - made new PR! 32:55 :happy: )
    THU: 11.70mi cycling (roads/hills)

    Sorry I'm a little behind on the milage. Went out and dug up some clams the last couple of days. Here is my list so far

    Sunday : 2.5 miles
    Monday: 0
    Tuesday: 0
    Wednesday: 1 miles

    I"ll try to make it up the next couple of days :)

    Thursday: 1.3 miles... Mostly walking. I've got wicked shin splints. Probably will just ride my bike all weekend :grumble:

    Sunday - goal =2 miles at a nice, slow pace - actually jogged 1 mile, will make up the other mile this week :happy:
    Monday - unscheduled walk - 1.55 miles Yesterday's mile made up! :happy:
    Tuesday - goal = 2 miles run mostly - actually ran 1.6 :happy:
    Wednesday - unscheduled walk - 2.05 miles :happy:
    Thursday - goal = 2.5 miles run mostly - wasn't feeling well, no miles today :cry:
    Saturday - goal = 3 miles run

    TOTAL = 6.2 miles

    Slow start to this week. Not sure how well I'll do since it is so hot and I have been staying up too late so its really hard to get up early in the morning.

    Sunday - Zip
    Monday - Nada
    Tuesday - Kettlebells
    Wednesday - 5 miles running
    Thursday - Kettlebells
    Friday - 3 miles running

    Total: 8 miles running

    So to make my goal, I will have to run 7 miles tomorrow. It is supposed to get above 100, so I will need to get out EARLY. We'll see. I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't!!

    Well on target and 78,000 steps so far. Aiming for 70,000 per week.

    Enjoying the thread! Well done everyone your doing great! I joined the gym this week and it is great! Loving it! I'm on a rest day tomorrow. Going to get spruced up and then go to my nephews 3rd birthday party. Have made up for it today though! Happy Saturday everyone!!! x

    Hi everyone...

    I had a good first week on the challenge. I forgot to put my fitbit on, on Sunday. I still met my goals though.

    Steps: 78,417 / 70,000
    Miles 35.12 / 35.

    This challenge definitely made me work a little harder to exceed the 35 miles. Ready for week 2... x

    Hello.

    I'm a new member and my name is Zara. Today I jogged my first 5k :-) I try to walk 35 miles per week. I have a fitbit and aim for 70,000 steps + per week. (Approx 35 miles) I work, so I have to get up at 5am to get steps in as my job is very sedentary. I walk, jog, do zumba etc anything to get steps in. I'm joining the gym this week too. Very exciting. Liking this group and what it aims to support each other with. Let's having a rocking week!

    I also use an armband - I use Body Media and it does very well at logging my steps. I also try to get in Zumba at least 3 times a week. Welcome.

    I hear great things about the body media, glad it works well for you. I may get back into Zumba again, i used to do it most days and then got into jogging and it kind of fell to the side... Might give it a whirl at my new gym! x
