Thursday - 5 miles running

Saturday - 8.5 miles running (1:36 min)
Today is my 42nd birthday and I wanted to do the longest run I ever had. The weather was perfect - 60s and drizzly - it was awesome!!! Been working on my gait - it really works to pretend I am running barefoot. I really put my feet down very lightly and I feel like I can keep running forever.
Just read Born to Run, so I am feeling really inspired! After this 8.5 mile run today, I really think I will do a half this fall.

Thanks! There are a few to choose from in the area - one in the beginning of September, one at the end, and one in October. I am leaning towards the end of September, since it is very close to me (7 miles or so away!), and it should be cooler than the earlier one.0 -
