    Hoping to get in 10 this week!

    Monday: 2.0 miles hiking :) & 1.0 miles of walking that I don't normail do at work :)

    SUN: Watched BF's daughter's Fast Pitch team become State Champs - No workout for me.
    MON: 2.33mi run + 1.27mi lunch walk (took advantage of break in the heat! was still 85F, tho)
    13.07mi cycle (roads&hills)
    TUE: 1.25mi lunchsweat (90F at lunchtime) + 4.05mi after-dinner power walk

    8.90mi ~ Run/Walk/Crawl
    13.07mi ~ Cycling
    21.97mi ~ Total Miles

    Hey all....here goes mine for Sunday and plan for the rest of the week

    Sun - Elliptical (7000 strides) - 5.25 km <check> :drinker:
    Mon - Elliptical (4500 strides) - 3.4 km :ohwell: 2.6 km (3500 strides)
    Tue - Swimming - 1 km....:cry: nada
    Wed - Elliptical (4500 strides) - 3.4 km......:ohwell: 2.25 km (3000 strides)
    Thur - Elliptical (4500 strides) - 3.4 km.....changed to Zumba
    Fri - Elliptical (4500 strides) - 3.4 km
    Sat - May be rest day

    Today is my 42nd birthday and I wanted to do the longest run I ever had. The weather was perfect - 60s and drizzly - it was awesome!!! Been working on my gait - it really works to pretend I am running barefoot. I really put my feet down very lightly and I feel like I can keep running forever.

    Just read Born to Run, so I am feeling really inspired! After this 8.5 mile run today, I really think I will do a half this fall.

    Thanks! There are a few to choose from in the area - one in the beginning of September, one at the end, and one in October. I am leaning towards the end of September, since it is very close to me (7 miles or so away!), and it should be cooler than the earlier one.

    This has been my biggest weekly total so far, next week I think I will just count my jogging miles to see how far I can push it
