I've been on MFP for quite some time but love this idea for new accountability. I was working out religiously until romance side-lined me. I'm recently married with no kids and 3 sassy felines. Starting back into fitness with on demand aerobic videos before work.

Looking for a fitness twin who isn't in to heavy, intense exercise because the whole idea terrifies me and instead prefers more gentle wimpy exercise of the sort I can manage.
Preferably someone who will tell me not to eat so much chocolate and will happily discuss game of thrones with me too.

I am currently trying medium-low carb, about 70g or less a day, and I want to exercise around 4-5 times a week with a mix of strength training and cardio. Not doing anything fancy, just trying to have a little definition and be able to lift heavy moving boxes when I graduate and move out next year. I was working on 1200 plus another 300 from working out, but I'm finding that a little too restrictive, so I've just upped to 1400 plus exercise, so we'll see if that's easier. I was wondering if that's a good maintenance plan. How about you?

1200 does seem a bit low. I have it set to 1400 which I usually hit, cardio 3x/week, light weights 3x/week. Just can't get the scale to move! I've been fluctuating up/down 2-3lbs for the last 3 months. So I've started to incorporate IF with keto. We'll see how effective that will be.. what us your excersise /workout like?0 -
