On that note: which of these women are curvy? All? Some? None? Share thoughts!

All of those women are "curvy," at least in my eyes. And, I might add, incredibly sexy.
The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is quite yummy. But curvy she ain't.
Anna's all night session paid off: agree it's about proportion: large, slim, large = curvy.
Btw, as a complete aside, the Czech word kurva = slut. And the plural is kurvy. So whenever I see "curvy," I get doubly excited... :-)

I have already included my disclaimer somewhere that I don't consider myself curvy....yet.
So yesterday I got measured for a bridesmaid's dress. Interestingly (only in this convo) my bust (not band) is 9 inches larger than my waist, and my hips are 12 inches larger than my waist. Bit of a pear...hopefully hourglass shape one day.0 -

Good foundation to build upon... :-)
The problem, of course, it that it's impossible to spot reduce. So all of the sit ups in the world will not help. And reducing weight may also impact the boobs. :-( So it's probably more about genetics than anything else... In any case, good luck!

I'm not curvy at all because no boobs- but my hips are also 12' larger than waist, and if I had boobs, I'd be curvy. I just creeped your profile (you and your pugs are super cute) and I think you are TOTALLY curvy. You might be heavier than you want to be right now, but I don't think that negates your body's ratios. A true balanced hourglass is super super rare- you're as close as I ever see irl- I don't think being a little pearish means not curvy. You're hot, lady.0 -
