Nicely done!
A question to the rest of you, do any of you want to GAIN inches anywhere? Where do you want to lose inches?
I'm hoping to gain in my arms and to primarily lose in my legs and then my stomach.
If you want to gain inches on your arms, Insanity probably isn't the right program for you. You're going to want to start doing exercises with heavy weights. Thanks for the link! That's a program I've been wanting to look into just to know what it is.so,you saved me work.Those are my eventual goals.However, I'm more more of a believer in the rep effect as opposed to heavy lifting. I definitely agree that you have to do some form of weight or resistance to gain inches.
At this stage, I'm taking the next year to do a lot of different programs and to see different things.It's one of the reasons why I'm not freaking out when my measurements or weight alters a bit because I'm experimenting with the different programs until I'm educated enough to help others and myself.I'm also starting to read different books based on different workout out systems and diets.I'll be updating what I learned on my MFP feed.
It dos depend on how much muscle you want to gain, because I have seen other women record about an inch of gain on their arms... so, it really depends on how much you want.

So I am down 8 inches all over since the very first fit test and down 1.6 Lbs and 4% BF...
This makes my BMI 24.9 which apparently means healthy (FINALLY) of course at the highest point of healthy, but healthy none the less.
Month 2 starts tomorrow and I can not wait so see what sort of results that brings!

After 51 days of Insanity, and the holidays, and being sick for a week so I had to delay the program, here are my results.
Jan 8th
Weight-142 (Down 1 lbs, 5 lb total)
Measurements:
Chest-36 (Down 0.5 inch, 1 inch total)
Waist (at crease when bending)- 28 (Down 0.5 inch, 1.5 inch total)
Bellybutton- 32.0 (Down 0.5 inch, 2 inches total)
Hips/Butt- 38 (Down 0.5 inch, 1 inch total)
Thigh- 22 (Up 0.5 inch, Down 1 inch total)
Total loss is 5 lbs and 5.5 inches. Still have 2 more weeks to go! I started with the diet plan that comes with Insanity finally, so we'll see if that helps too!0 -

Hips -39 to 39.5 ( ugh)
R Thigh - 19.5 to 19
L Thigh - 20 to 20 ( why is one of my thighs bigger than the other )
Lost 0.7 % BF so I must be doing something right
Total weight Loss -2lbs ( ill take it especially how I ate that Thanksgiving week )
Total inches lost - only 1/2 in in one thigh ugh
Total inches gained 1 in - NOT HAPPY
Looks like we have something in common. I have also gained half inch on my hips from week 1 - 3. Also my thighs, forearms, bicep all seem to have one bigger than the other :-(0
