I have had a FABULOUS week in the Bahamas and at my Florida Nature Culture Center conference held right outside of Fort Lauderdale. I was not even tempted to eat after 8pm, cause I was soo full from the abundance of food that was served on ship and at my conference. My sis and walked the ship's stairs (12 decks) and we were on the 5th deck. The Cafe was on the 11th floor soo we got about 5-7 miles walking a day. We also attended a fitness conference and I will do a detox program for 3 months. Everything is well, and going home tomorrow. Will check in Tuesday..for sure, but, my Sis has a mini i-pad...so may check in tomorrow if time.
**Kris** Thanks for your good thoughts...YES...I will return to hopefully cruise another part of the Caribbean Sea. Loved the cruise a LOT.
**Kate** CONGRATS on the weight victory ... WTG
**Mandysmom** Awesome for you...I cannot eat just ONE cookie, or anything else sweet without gorging.. Love your willpower!!
Everyone keep doing well!! I see the numbers on LNS are on the LOW side! That is the goal,,,

Funny, I was thinking....this isn't very challenging for me, I should just quit! But then I aso thought....maybe the challenge is to check in every morning. How bad would you feel if you had to up that LNS number??? I have those nights that I just want a snack soooooooo bad, but then I think about this group and say no! Thanks guys! It's helping tremendously!0 -

We were out in London last night. I ate too much (I took a packed lunch for the train to save money) so was pretty un comfy at the gig we went to. I also ate too much sugar (cookies on the way up and a muffin on the way back). Very piggy and very unnecessary but hey ho, I'm only human and I'm still so much healthier still than most past December's. :drinker:
Well done everyone :bigsmile:0 -

Back from my cruise and conference and feel FANTASTIC. No worries about Late Night Snacking. Everyone around me knows I will not eat after 8pm...and NOW I am consciously trying to eat around 6pm. On the cruise we sat down to a dinner every night at 6pm...and I like that rhythm...that way I can go to bed at 8pm or so to get a full 8 hours rest (not always possible) getting up to prepare DH's lunch. I am used to Eastern time, soo this morning when he left for work, I stayed up. I got my morning meditation in, ate breakfast, and finally got to sit down and share how APPRECIATIVE of all of my pals here. This is also the first day of my detox...YAY.
**Mandysmom** glad you are sticking around  It is WONDERFUL accountability, and you doing FABULOUSLY!
**Kate** you *are* so healthy that once in a while sweets are okay. Those one night binges can always be corrected (big smile) .I just love coming into the forum cause I like that saying "Never say Never" One never knows, and I just want to stay accountable!
Keep up the good work everyone! :drinker:0 -

I was up since 4am and I am liking my new rhythm. I did NOT eat anything after 8pm last night, but went to bed around 10pm...so still feel awake. I like my new rhythm of getting up early an going to bed early (I usually go to bed around 1am...up at 4am, back to sleep for another few hours...but my day gets sooo crazy...so, as I said "early to bed early to rise"...hopefully that will make me healthy "wealthy?" and WISE.. I'm trying...hehehe
Anyway...everyone seems to be doing grrreat with FEW days of LNS'ing. I noticed we have a few new members to our forum and would invite you to say HI! Glad you joined us.
Okay all...:drinker: Have a grrreat day! :happy:0 -

This week has slightly gone to pot!
I am on annual leave and visiting lots of friends and going to bed too late and eating way too much of the sweet stuff. I weigh in 1-1.5kg heavier than I have of late so i have some work to do:ohwell:
But today I cancelled my lunch date and have kept it small and healthy and am resting and will try and get to bed early for the next 3 nights so I'm on top form for the marathon on Sunday.
There are some really impressive scores out there ladies :drinker:0 -

I need to plan, somewhere in the next few days, for a popcorn night. I've been SO good this month and, frankly, popcorn is calling my name....my lovely name....0 -

I love getting up sooo early and staying up. Sooo much to do. Going to lunch with another good friend today...(another Chinese Buffet)...YUMMM...I didn't eat after my meal yesterday, and couldn't believe I am 'just' starting to get hungry now. I am detoxing (3rd day)...and it is gentle (good thing). I won't eat Fried stuff at the buffet...I think I kinda felt sick because I did yesterday...but it was sooooo delicious
Anyways...Got to sleep at at decent time...a bit tired cause I did an AWESOME Zumba class yesterday. Busy again today, and still on the timer for my computer time which will end in 6 minutes. Have a grrrreat day everyone!!
**Kate** You are a bit over from all the celebrating...a lot of it is water retention I bet. Knowing you, you won't let it settle into the REAL fat stuff...you will burn it quicker than I can blink...heheheh Enjoy your family, friends, and the holidays...but in MODERATION! That is what I am still 'learning' to do...especially at these buffets LOL
**Beeps* You DESERVE Popcorn night you have been soo good! Congrats!!
**Mandysmom"* Victory is SWEET isn't it??
Okay all...:drinker: Have a grrreat day! :happy:0 -

Last night it was our running clubs Christmas do. I didn't run as am resting the legs before Sunday. I tried to eat a bit less to keep within calorie limits for the day. I think i have been over every day this week! I normally do so much exercise to keep within my limits
So I stopped eating at 9pm. It was yummy but fattening stuff but I looked at the clock and thought of you lot. It was after my sort of normal cut off though of 8.30 so I'm counting it as LNS.
All is not over though. The next 2 days are about sleeping well, resting, eating small healthy meals and a day or two off the sugar should help
Well done everyone. :drinker: As my score if is a bit rubbish and my my cals are over every day I didn't want to log or write here but I decided it was better to write it down and take accountability for it0 -
Has it been that long?!? Almost a week since I last posted?
My numbers will thus be a little random this time, but I can only remember of one night where I had a late dinner. I also remember another night when I first said "dinner is too late, I lost this point", but then went to bed later than usual and had no other snack, so I figured that it's been all shifted by 1 or 2 hours and that I deserve the point, after all. In fact, apart from the late dinners (which I could not avoid, given that I worked so late), I did not snack not even when waking up in the middle of the night without being able to fall asleep quickly and with a hunger feeling. So yeay!, I'd say.

Thank you for your support, Deb, Kate and Lula.0 -
You know, I'm not really sure that the point (from last night) that I'm giving to LNS actually belongs there - but, I'll give it to LNS just because I can't believe my LNS is SO LOW this month! I actually had enough calories left (for popcorn) and, I wolfed it down BEFORE 9 pm. Still, I actually had "planned" a LNS night last night....the fact it didn't happen is just because I'm super-duper organized, I guess, lol!!

**Kate** Your awareness is STELLER
Whelp all, I've been going to bed earlier, so I need to re-define my LNS'ing to be NOT to eat anything TWO HOURS before I know I'm gonna go to bed. Yesterday, I had a VERY small meal (picked at my Chipotle's Burrito Bowl) barely eating any of it...(I was still full from lunch). Anyway, I got to get some shopping done, and EXHAUSTED when I got home, but digested the bit of food that I ate for dinner. I was happy that I didn't have that stuffed feeling before going to bed. I'm drinking upwards of 10 glasses of water doing this Detox program. I am on my 4th day...and feelin' grrrreat!
Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!

**Kate** That sugar can *really* be hazardous to our health, right?? Grrreat job being back on track
I'm glad I am recording the days for my detox...I am on my 5th day today...sheesh...gotta write everything down. or I don't remember. Drinking my water faithfully (for a change)...and I have had no coffee for the 5 days either. I will go back to having my cup or two a day...but...wanting this detox to work as thoroughly as possible. Feelin' grrrreat!!
Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!

Another healthy day, sticking within my calorie limit (I was way over all week long until yesterday!). A bit of yoga and a gentle walk, then lots of resting before my marathon in the morning. It's going to be muddy. It has rained so much lately.
Well done everyone :drinker:0
