Bet they wish he had played. Webb played like he had never seen a football field in his life!! I think with his bad elbow his play still would have been better than Webb. Vikings should probably look at drafting a QB.

Doesn't matter who started at QB, when Rodgers is at his best nobody in the NFL can stop him. On the local news they threw the loss on Webb, which means they will stick with Ponder for a 3rd season and probably bring in a veteran back up like Sage Rosen(not worth figuring out the spelling).

As a fan I'm pretty hopefull for the future because at the begging of the season no one would have given the Vikings more than 5 wins. The Bears are getting old, the Lions will just always suck and the Packers get injured often... so Skol Vikes!

The thing is Rodgers wasn't on his best. They would have been able to score more then once a quarter if Rodgers was on his best. With Ponder it would have been a closer game depending on if he played like week 17 or week 13. I think putting in Webb they just gave up hope.

His stats don't reflect how good he was, A. he only needed to be lights out for 2 quarters and B. He got them close enough to run it in. Either way I don't see Ponder making much of a diff. But it's hard to sit on the bench all season and then be expected to play at top speed, it wasn't Webbs fault either.

Next year should be a fun one.
